NO RESERVE I have owned many 2002 models but non of them have ever been as fun to drive as this one, it has real stiff suspension and it drives as tight as my 2011 BMW 1M and it's as much fun all though it is not as fast. It likes to cruise and is comfortable at 80 mph and easily climbs up to 110 mph even with the original 4 speed. The body has some rust but not as bad and cancerous as most of the 02 models, all are shown with detailed pictures. If you would like detailed pictures please I bought the car already like this and the following is what was disclosed to me as upgrades already done when I bought it. -Volvo oversized front brake calipers -E21 vented front brake rotors -Rota RB wheels w/Yokahoma S-Drives -Ireland Engineering (IE) front air-dam -"Early" (pre -'74) rear bumper -Flush Euro turn signals (have "US" turn signals as well) -Momo steering wheel -Corbeau Forza fixed back seats (driver is standard, passenger is wide - can be easily swapped) -Corbeau seat brackets -Bilstein Sport shocks/struts -Eibach springs -Fixed camber plates on front (for ~.5 degrees more negative camber) -IE over-sized front and rear sway bars -Front strut brace -IE electric fan -Weber 38/38 (38 DGES) carb (have 32/36 as well) -IE urethane rear suspension bushings (differential mount, trailing arms) -AKG Motorsport urethane subframe bushings Services done in last year: -Valve clearances checked/adjusted -Transmission fluid changed -Differential fluid changed -Belt changed -Thermostat replaced -Water pump replaced\ -Various typical maintenance (e.g. oil/filter changes) Any questions please let me know. I guarantee it to be one of the best and most fun 2002 models you have ever driven if not the best. All this being said it needs the rust spots fixed, needs a paint job, and modify to your liking, that's it. Come see it, drive it and send someone to inspect it. No reserve, good luck :) Koorosh (323)422-4956 |

BMW i3 takes to the track, circles it in a way you don't expect
Sun, Jan 5 2014So, who wants to see a BMW i3 race around a track. That's what we thought. It's not a long video, but it is entertaining, and the way the urban EV does a 'loop' at second 25 certainly caught out eye. The i3 is scheduled to go on sale in the US later this year and will start at $41,350. The diminutive electric vehicle has a top speed of 93 miles per hour and can hit 62 mph in 7.2 seconds. We found it a hoot to drive, but we're not sure if hardcore BMW performance fans will totally 'get' this car's performance. The i3 is great at what it does, but it wasn't born to hit the race track. After seeing this video, though, we want a crack at it, skinny wheels and all. You can get a behind-the-scenes glimpse here, where Chris Neff writes, "The i3 basically turns in on itself. This is one sharp turning radius, take a look at 24 seconds into the video. We were actually trying to get the i3 to do doughnuts, but the computer would not let the rear brake loose, still, you can see how it held and how sharp we were turning....about 27 times in a row." Watch all 49 seconds below. And wonder with us if whatever aerial device was used to get the shot that ends at four seconds in was destroyed just after the video cuts away.
Permanent erection lawsuit against BMW thrown out
Wed, 19 Mar 2014The California man who claimed that he suffered from a 20-month erection after a four-hour ride on his BMW K1100RS motorcycle (similar model pictured above) has had his case dismissed. It seems the court found his claims too hard to believe.
Henry Wolf filed a product liability lawsuit against BMW and seatmaker Corbin-Pacific in the California Superior Court in April 2012 after he claimed a motorcycle ride in September 2010 caused a long-term case of priapism from the "ridge-like" saddle design. He asked for compensation for lost wages, medical expenses and emotional distress from both companies.
Nearly two years later, according to Visor Down, Judge James J. McBride decided that the case didn't have enough supporting evidence. A urologist testified that the plaintiff had priapism, but the court rejected the testimony of a neurologist who claimed the motorcycle's vibration caused the disorder. The defendants presented testimony from the bike's former and subsequent owners. Corbin-Pacific CEO Mike Corbin also spoke in the company's defense.
M-fographic breaks down the history of BMW performance machinery
Fri, 18 Oct 2013Few characters carry the kind of clout among performance enthusiasts as the letter M. For 35 years now, that one letter has adorned over 300,000 BMWs, each tuned to deliver a higher degree of performance than the stock models on which they're based.
The M division has worked up nearly 100 different models over the past third of a century, which can leave even the most expert among Bimmer fanatics bewildered. Fortunately British auto loan service Carfinance247 has commissioned this handy infographic to make sense of it all, and you can check it out below to see what the letter M really stands for.
