74 tii resto/mod. Only reason really selling is I have a baby on the way. Bought the car about two years ago north of Boston. Put over a 1000 hrs into restoring it. Do not have a title for the car. I bought it from a guy that somehow inherited it from third owner. He was less then helpful in locating said owner. In CT they don't title cars after 1986, so it didn't bother me.
TONS of new parts and mods. Totally replaced floor boards front and rear with hand formed sheet metal. Sectioned out damaged front subframe legs with new heavy gauge steel. Replaced drivers rocker panel. Lots more replacement of rusted areas. Replaced backing of door cards. Rear shock towers were replaced by PO.
Shaved front and rear side markers. Euro turn signals. Passenger door flag mirror. Shortened front and rear bumpers. Rolled front and rear fenders. Lowered on Bav Auto sport springs. New Bilstein shocks. Replica BBS RS's Braided steel flex brake lines. Ansa center exit exhaust. Stahl headers. All new suspension bushings. New steering linkage. New shifter rebuild kit. E-20 Recaros (drivers reupholstered, passenger has small rip/hole) New carpet. To much to remember.
Car needs paint and minor body work. I was happy driving it just the way it was. Still has original 4 speed. Car runs strong, and starts right up. Intermittent ignition problem (no start click) 1 out of every 20 times) Clock works, but doesn't keep good time. Radio doesn't work. Needs knee panels under dash. Trunk has some sort of tar coating (from PO) on it hard to scrape off.

The 2015 BMW X4 configurator is ready for your special touch. Starting with the 300-horsepower xDrive35i that starts at $48,925 after destination, our special touch aimed at a luxury cruiser and added $9,250 to proceedings for a final tally of $58,175. That got us the Technology, Lighting and Driver Assistance packages, navigation and enhanced USB and smartphone integration. We were tempted to go for the Dynamic Damping Control for just $1,000 and a set of 20-inch M Double Spoke Wheels, but the configurator didn't want to mix the M Sport Line with our Sparkling Brown metallic exterior hue so we skipped it.

2017 BMW i3 rumored to get more electric range

BMW will reportedly give the 2017 i3 a jolt of extra range that will increase the EV's max driving distance to around 120 miles. If true, that would be quite a boost from the current EPA-estimated 81 miles. An upgraded lithium-ion battery will make this improvement possible, according to Automotive News. Ian Robertson, BMW's boss for sales and marketing, told AN the upgrade to the i3 "puts it into a much more usable range." The company has more tweaks in store for the 2017 model but doesn't want to discuss details about them yet. Rumors late last year hinted that the extra range for the i3 would come thanks to a higher-density battery, improved electronics, and new software. The changes could push range to over 124 miles on the European testing cycle. BMW would also offer the improvements on the i3 REx range-extended model, and the company would even allegedly allow current owners to purchase the upgrades. The German automaker wants to offer these updates every three years to keep the EV fresh. If BMW can achieve 120 miles of range, then the electric i3's driving distance would come significantly closer to the current REx's EPA-estimated 150 miles. Of course, the range-extended model can always be topped up with a tank of gas to keep its wheels spinning further. The i3's rumored boost would also still put it short of the roughly 200 miles that Chevrolet promises from the Bolt when that model arrives late this year. In any case, it's an exciting time for proponents of electric cars. Related Video:
