The dash and console are in carbon firber. This Supersport was optioned with (1) Comfort 4 Seat Option $5,460.00 (2) Massage Front Seats $605.00 (3) Rear View Camera $1,375.00 (4) Valet Limited Access Key $325.00 (5) 3-Spoke, Dual Tone, Hide Trimmed Steering Wheel & Hide Trimmed Sports Gear Lever $565.00. My Buy-It-Now price is over $111,000.00 below the original MSRP.
The Supersports is a very limited & rare production Bentley. It is the first Bentley capable of running on Ethanol. 6.0 Liter V-12, Twin-Turbo, 621 HP,590 ft lb Torque. 0 to 61 MPH in a stunning 3.1 seconds, then on to 100 MPH in only 8.9 seconds total and a top speed of 204.4 MPH, making it one of the fastest large coupes on planet earth. Bentley claims 1.29 g forces on a 300 ft skid pad for outstanding handling. The performance figures were copied from a Bentley page.
The Supersport includes a revised Tiptronic Automatic Transmission with "Quickshift", that reduces shift times by 50%, 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels, advance Bosch Electronic Stability Programme with switchable Dynamic Mode, Carbon Fibre Ceramic Disc Brakes (the largest & most powerful ever fitted to a production car)
I had a 9 disc spine fusion (1/12) and recently completed a 1,400 mile trip and this Supersports rides like it is on a silk carpet. Very quite or you can put it in Sports Mode to get that deep rumble of the exhaust. I covered 8 straight hours and found the car to be extremely comfortable, but hold on, if you need to pass, for the power is truly amazing, yet so easy to drive. One of the car magazines reported a 30 MPH to 50 MPH time of 1.6 seconds.
This Supersports is flawless in everyway, with no dings or chips. There are no stories, no paint work, no touch up. I had a 3-M Clear Bra installed on the entire front, mirrows, lower body (in front of rear wheels) and on the top of the rear bumper, under the trunk. The rear Pirelli ZR tires are new with less than 300 miles and the tire dealer measured the matching front tires at 7/32 tread. I did add a chrome SuperSport emblem, with double sided tape, to the lower right side of the trunk, (see pictures) so it is very easy to remove, if one desires.

Bentley Mulsanne convertible expected to be greenlit this year
Sat, 08 Sep 2012That was quick - it was only was only three weeks ago that the Bentley Mulsanne Vision concept, a droptop take on the brand's flagship sedan, was sketched out for the Pebble Beach crowd. Now Autocar reports that a production version is expected to be approved later this year, with a launch something like two years away. And even though it hasn't been officially given the go-ahead, it has a price: "at least £275,000" ($436,232 U.S.). That price would make for a £50,000 premium ($79,313 U.S.) - at least - over the current UK price of the Mulsanne sedan.
Just as the Continental GTC differs from its coupe sibling, Autocar says the Mulsanne cabrio would be unique from the A-pillars back as compared to the sedan. Shortened by roughly six inches in both length and wheelbase, frameless doors and a lowered windshield will contribute additional rakishness, and note the rear fender treatment meant to evoke the fifties-era Bentley R Type in the upper right corner of the sketch above. At launch it is predicted that power will come from the twin-turbo 6.75-liter V8, but Autocar predicts that V12 power being developed for the production version of the EXP 9 F SUV will eventually find its way up front.
Bentley Bentayga interior teased in new video
Fri, May 8 2015The Bentley Bentayga is growing ever closer to launch, and we already have a pretty good idea of what the production version looks like. Now, Bentley is giving us a surprisingly detailed tour of the super-luxurious crossover's interior in a new video. The clip focuses on some of the plush CUV's tech and does so by actually showing it off in the cabin. We get a good view of the center console that includes a gearshift with the Brit brand's emblem on top, two cupholders and a rotary dial to switch between multiple driving modes. There are also some close-up shots of the Bentayga's instrument cluster with large, round dials for the speedometer and tachometer. Between them is a digital display that's teased here for the night vision system and later for the navigation duties. In front of the driver, a head-up display projects the nav and speed info, as well. For now, this is a pretty good idea of what to expect from the inside of the Bentayga. The crossover will be fully revealed later this year and will go on sale in 2016 with prices for some of them even above the Mulsanne. It'll ride on a platform shared with the latest Audi Q7, but the powertrain lineup will include a W12 at launch. A diesel V8 and plug-in hybrid version will likely join the range later.
Bentley re-creates one-of-a-kind sports sedan destroyed in 1939
Thu, Aug 8 2019Bentley's Mulliner division specializes in making one-off (or few-off) projects for clients willing to foot the bill. They're the folks you'd want to talk to if you want a long-wheelbase Flying Spur, a Bentayga-based dually pickup, or anything in between. The division only works on new models, but it stepped outside of its comfort zone to re-create a one-of-a-kind Bentley manufactured and destroyed in 1939. The project is part of Bentley's on-going centennial celebration, and finishing it in time was easier said than done. It made building a concept car like the EXP 100 GT look like assembling a Lego kit. The original Corniche disappeared after getting bombed by the German army, and a majority of the people who saw it in person are dead, so the men and women tasked with resurrecting it only had a handful of period, black-and-white photographs and technical drawings to work with. The final product looks stunning, and Bentley claims it's identical to the original in every way. Parts like the chromed headlight bezels, the droplet-shaped fenders, and the wooden dashboard were exclusive to the Corniche, so they had to be manufactured from scratch using the correct materials, and the right production techniques. The British firm could have saved itself the trouble of re-creating this unique part of its history if another car hadn't pulled out in front of it 80 years ago. Bentley made the original Corniche during tumultuous times as it explored the possibility of releasing a more powerful variant of the Mark V scheduled to make its debut in October 1939. It asked French designer Georges Paulin to draw a futuristic, streamlined body, and it commissioned Paris-based coachbuilder Carrosserie Vanvooren to build it using thinner-than-normal steel to save weight. The Corniche lapped the Brooklands track for the first time in May 1939 and quickly reached over 100 mph, an impressive speed at the time. Testing continued in rural France, where the big Bentley blended in as well as a flying saucer. In August 1939, one of the company's test drivers swerved to avoid another car, rolled, and wrapped the aerodynamic front end around an unsuspecting tree. Bentley separated the body and the chassis. It immediately shipped the chassis to its headquarters in Crewe, England, and curiously asked a local shop to repair the body instead of sending it back to Vanvooren in Paris.
