2005 Bentley Continental GT

41,000 Miles

Silver exterior (Never Hit, No Paint Work Ever)

Burnt Saddle Interior (Flawless)

40k Mile Service just completed. This included all fluids changed, spark plugs changed, all filters changed, ect. cost $4,000

4 Brand New Continental Tires and TPMS Sensors installed at a cost of $2500. TPMS Sensors are not cheap for a Bentley. They have a battery life of 5 years and cost $300 each. This is why every Bentley you see for sale has the TPMS light on.

4 Upper Control Arms installed at a cost of $3,000. These control arms go bad on ALL of these cars at about 30k miles. Don't buy one from a dealer that needs them done. That's why people trade these cars in. TPMS Sensors, 40k mile service and the control arms go bad and cost a arm and a leg to fix.

This car shows several owners, however I moved a few times and it'll show up as a new owner.

I have both keys, all books, manuals, ect. The only deviation from stock is a IPOD interface for the stereo.

This car has never been in any sort of accident nor has it ever been abused or kept anywhere other than a climate controlled garage.

I'm not selling it because I have to, I'd rather use the cash for investment purposes.

Mileage may go up slightly as I do occasionally drive the car.

There are no leins or encumberances on this Bentley.

It's fully serviced and ready to go. Please, no ridiculous offers. I just put over $10,000 in this car to get it fully ready to go. Most of these cars you see for sale on here need TPMS sensors, services and control arms. They are all mostly driving on the original $400 consumer battery. If you don't buy my car, please buy one that has all the "bugs" worked out of it. These cars can get very expensive to service. Saving $5,000 on one off the bat will likely cost you $10,000 in service to get the car to the level this one is at. Also beware that these Bentley GT's have a problem with the cowl are where the computers are get clogged and collect water and erode the wiring harnesses. It's not IF, Its when. This car has had the cowl problem fixed from day one. It's never had any issues.

Please be reasonable in your offers.

This car spent 90% of its life in Southern California

Has a clean PPI and service history. Car is serviced by a Bentley specialist here outside of Chicago and you are more than welcome to discuss the car with him.

The Macallan and Bentley Motors single malt whisky costs more than a car

Fri, Mar 15 2024

Whisky connoisseurs will want to start saving to get their hands on a single malt whisky from Bentley Motors and The Macallan. The bottle costs more than an average car and is part of a collaboration to celebrate the distillery’s 200th anniversary.  “Our collaboration with Bentley Motors and the knowledge exchange we have undertaken as a result has inspired us to see things very differently. In the spirits world, everything is upright, such as our stills and our bottles,” said Jaume Ferras, global creative director for The Macallan. The sideways format upends all that. The bottle is made from recycled materials used by The Macallan and Bentley Motors. The design consists of a copper frame, aluminum ribbon and low-carbon leather. It sits inside a leather-lined wooden case made of oak inlay and features BentleyÂ’s Crown Cut Walnut veneer.    “Taking inspiration from the automotive industry, we are showcasing our creative vision and concept development of The Macallan Horizon, which is among the most unique projects we have embarked on in our almost 200-year history,” said Ferras. Placing the entire work of art on its side was meant to invoke the "horizontal trajectory of the automotive world." According to Vinepair, the whisky was distilled in sherry-seasoned oak casks and smells of plums and dark cherries with traces of cinder toffee, crystallized ginger and charred pineapple. Before you head to the nearest retailer, you will want to make sure you have the funds for this bottle. It will cost you $51,274.

Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is probably a roadster

Wed, Feb 26 2020

The upcoming coachbuilt Bentley Mulliner Bacalar has been teased before its Geneva Motor Show reveal once again. Instead of one of the wheels or a glimpse of its rear quarter panels, we get a rather clear view of the interior. Bentley highlights the fact that there are only two seats, making this only the second two-seat car the company has offered since 1930. But looking closely, it also suggests that the Mulliner Bacalar is a convertible. The first indication is the angle of the photo, which is clearly from high up, and generally unobstructed. Perhaps it could be a design buck, but there's more to it than that. At the bottom of the photo, there's a black, horizontal object obscuring the base of the seats. It's too close to the seat backs to be the dashboard, so we think it's actually the windshield header. Then there's the placement of the seatbelts. They're mounted really low in the interior, seemingly below the window line. That's something automakers normally do if there are no pillars to mount to higher up, and if you didn't want to mount them to the seats. There also appears to be trim wrapping around behind the rear cargo area at the same height, further suggesting there's no solid roof and pillars in place. With all this under consideration, plus a previous report of a convertible in the works, we're thinking the Bacalar is a droptop of some sort. Taking a turn back to what's obvious in the photo, the interior is clearly a two-seat design, and you can see that it features matching luggage to fit the cavity behind the seats. The seats are upholstered in a nifty and sporty-looking diamond pattern with contrasting gray and yellow fabrics. Bentley doesn't specifically say what materials are used, but it says everything was sustainably sourced. The Mulliner Bacalar will be fully revealed on March 3 at the Geneva Motor Show. It will apparently take styling inspiration from the electric EXP 100 GT concept, and Bentley is stressing the sustainability aspect of the car. The same report that said a convertible was coming, though, also said it would probably get a W12 engine, and at least the convertible part of the report seems to be true. Also expect a price tag well into the seven figure range. Related Video:

2016 Bentley Bentayga First Drive [w/video]

Mon, Nov 23 2015

There was once a barrier that separated our Arcadian, four-dimensional space from an uncanny cosmos where a $229,100 SUV makes irrefutable business sense. That wall is gone, and the Bentley Bentayga broke it. We're accustomed to powerful SUVs. The Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG makes the Earth weep on account of its 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. The Bentayga is shy of those figures, with 21 fewer horses and 74 fewer pound-feet. We're also accustomed to quick SUVs; the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S hits 60 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds. The Bentayga runs that race 0.2 seconds slower. And of course, we are accustomed to luxurious SUVs that fear no obstacle or load. The Range Rover Autobiography can swim its leathers and veneers through 35.4 inches of water, surmount nearly 12 inches when toiling off-road, and tow 7,716 pounds. The Bentayga can 'only' manage 19.6 inches of water, 'only' gets to 9.64 inches on its tippy toes, and is 'only' rated to tow 7,714 pounds. None of these facts are listed to harp on the Bentayga. It isn't Bentley's way to make rank by being the best in every category. Instead, the Crewe brand brings all the boys to the yard by merely being excellent across the board. The Continental GT isn't superlative at any one thing, but no other vehicle that can carry four people is as fast and as capable and as dynamic, and only Phantom-level Rolls-Royces can touch it for luxury. The Bentayga is not the Continental GT of SUVs, it is "the Bentley of SUVs." But here's an important clarification: The Bentayga is not the Continental GT of SUVs, it is "the Bentley of SUVs." The automaker describes the mission as, "driving, luxury, performance." The interior advances the current design language with a two-piece instrument panel – an upper portion that slides through the center console in a "U" shape, and a lower portion that connects the console to the center tunnel. Bentley poses this as a riff on its flying wing badge, but it actually comes from interior designer Darren Day's wish to fit an IP with a steeper rake. The size of an instrument panel is limited by the width of the door openings because the dashboard doesn't go in until after the body is welded together. Day wanted passengers to be able to rest their legs on the buttresses tying the IP to the center tunnel, but his one-piece design was too large to fit through the doors.
