This is a special car. It has been my baby for the last 7 years. I am the second owner. I bought it with 19,000 miles and over the 7 years I only put a little over 20,000 miles on it. I keep it in a garage with a cover on it and change the oil and filter regularly. It has a rare factory NAV system and an equally rare cell phone cradle which is wired through the Bose stereo system (only works with a Motorola Flip phone which I am including). The Bose stereo is great. No scratches or dents -- no accidents. Small ding on one of the alloy wheels. I have a relatively new set of Yokohama Advan S4 tires. This is a clean, quick beautiful car that I am sad to have to sell...wife insists because her car is out of the garage. Oh, did I mention that I own 7 cars? That's her point. Audi follows suit with TDI stop-sale
Wed, Nov 4 2015Yesterday, Porsche issued a stop-sale on its Cayenne Diesel, following the news that the Volkswagen Group's 3.0-liter diesel V6 is also fitted with cheating software. Now, according to Automotive News, Audi is issuing a similar stop-sale in the US, but in the case of that brand, it affects more than just one model. Audi's stop-sale covers diesel-powered versions of the 2013-2015 Q7, as well as the 2014-2016 A6, A7, A8, and Q5. All of these models can be had with the 3.0-liter TDI V6, which up until this week's news, was not included in Volkswagen's massive diesel scandal. No recall is currently planned, according to Automotive News. Additionally, Volkswagen has yet to issue a stop-sale on its Touareg TDI, which also uses the 3.0-liter V6. The Touareg TDI can still be found on Volkswagen's consumer site, as of this writing.

2014 Nissan GT-R Track Pack squares off against Audi R8 V10 Plus
Wed, 22 May 2013The team over at Motor Trend has pitted the new Audi R8 V10 Plus against the Nissan GT-R. While both of the bright red all-wheel-drive supercars are comparably matched in power output, the similarities end there. Audi offers a mid-engine aluminum coupe with a naturally aspirated V10 that spits out 550 horsepower. Nissan shows up with a more traditional coupe equipped with a 545-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 at the front of the car.
The Head-to-Head video takes both cars to the Streets of Willow Springs in the California desert for some track work with professional racing driver Randy Pobst behind the wheel. After a day at the track, the pair head to the local mountains for some spirited real-world driving. One dominates on the circuit, while the other earns back its credibility in the canyons. We won't tell you which coupe comes out on top, but we think you may be surprised. Follow the link below to watch for yourself.
