This is one of the first S5s delivered in CT and I bought it new from Danbury Audi in January 2008. Premium Plus w/Nav and Stainless Steel Inlays. Non-smoker. Daily driver.

This car has been fanatically maintained and garaged at work/home since new. From 10 feet away, this car is a 10/10. Up close, you can see some stone chips in the front & rear bumper covers which make the car a 8.5/10 IMHO.

All dealer maintenance performed by Danbury Audi with an oil sample taken at nearly every oil change (analysis performed by Blackstone Labs). All records since new including Blackstone Labs reports. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires have 6/32" (front) and 8/32" (rear) tread left. Clutch replaced under warranty 21K miles ago. New front brake discs.

Audi's public relations team must really be getting fed up with research and design boss Ulrich Hackenberg. Aside from basically confirming that the next Audi R8 will share its bones with the Lamborghini Huracán and noting that it may take advantage of the Asterion Concept's hybrid powertrain technology, he's now let slip that the second-generation Q7 will arrive in January at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
"If you make a trip to Detroit, you'll see it," Hackenberg reportedly told Indian Autos Blog during Paris Motor Show festivities.
That's a bombshell, particularly as we've heard plenty about its potential powertrain technologies, including spy shots of diesel-powered models, plug-in-hybrids, sporty SQ7s and electric turbochargers, but there's been absolutely nothing concrete about when and where the car would debut.

European auto writers, especially the British, have a bit of a reputation for favoring their own domestic cars over foreign rivals in comparison tests. Just think about how many times you've heard Jeremy Clarkson deify the latest product of UK loins while denigrating an American rival as a hopeless "Yank Tank." However, we have to tip our hats to the folks at Autocar because in its latest video comparing the 2014 Corvette Stingray to the Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type V8 S and Audi R8, it's actually given the Vette a fair shake.
Autocar has put the Stingray through a battery of tests against what it considers to be the three best sports cars on sale in Europe today. And while the tests that it has chosen are somewhat random and subjective, it has concluded that the C7 can stand up against its rivals, even irrespective of its price. It's one thing to hear about how great the Stingray is from American writers, but it's great to know that not all Brits think we've gone crazy for calling the new Chevrolet "exquisite."
