This is a beautiful car that frankly I wish I wasn't selling.  The Marine Corps has seen fit to send me to Okinawa for the next three years and I cannot take the car (or any car) with me.  I've kept this car in my garage from the instant she came home, and it shows.  I've put a lot of performance upgrades into the car and to call it fun to drive is a true understatement.  The car sounds amazing too with the upgraded exhaust system.  The vehicle has the Premium Plus package which includes HD Nav system with 3D and voice controls, 7.0" multi-function screen, rear camera&radar parking sensors, parking assistance guidance with display for rear parking, voice activation for phone and Nav system, WiFi network, Bluetooth, Dual SD card slot and much more.  It has heated front seats, power sunroof, Fine Nappa leather, Quattro rear sports differential, Audi Advanced key, and all weather mats and trunk liner as outlined above.  The upgraded Bang & Olufsen sound sound system is perfect.

I love this car and cannot see putting it in storage for the next three years.  That is my only motivation for selling.  Please contact me with any questions or required information.

Mark

** UPDATE**  The small "4" in "S4" on the front grill is missing, so I suppose she's not "flawless" anymore.  Have one on order.

New Audi design chief Massimo Frascella shaped cars for Jaguar Land Rover

Sat, Feb 17 2024

At the Audi brand, style and design have long been a high priority; think the super sleek and sexy A7 sedan, the Bauhaus-inspired TT coupe, the single-frame grille that instantly identified the marque with its down-the-road graphics. So when the Bavarians install a new head of design, that’s also worth a look. Massimo Frascella is that person, a 52-year-old Italian designer who this summer will succeed Marc Lichte. Lichte ran Audi design since 2014 and will take up a new role within the Volkswagen Group. Frascella, a student at the Istituto d`Arte Applicata & Design in Turin, ignited his career at Stile Bertone, and his resume after that evolves impressively. He subsequently held positions at Ford Motor Company and Kia, and since 2011, Frascella has held senior positions at Jaguar Land Rover. He was responsible for the creation of several models: Discovery Vision Concept (2014), Discovery Sport (2014), Discovery (2016), Velar (2017), Evoque (2019) and Defender. In 2019 he became creative director of Land Rover and in 2020 design director. He was also instrumental in the development of the range of new electric Jaguars that are in the works. “Joining Audi is a very special moment for me,” Frascella said. “I am deeply honored to assume the role of chief creative officer and to guide such a talented team in shaping the future of the brand to new heights of innovation and distinction. I believe in the emotional power of design to inspire, connect, and drive change, and I am here to nurture and promote creativity as the beating heart of our brand.” Looking back a couple of decades, it was one of FrascellaÂ’s predecessors who helped to cement AudiÂ’s reputation in automobile design: Walter de Silva. De Silva was appointed head of Audi design in 2002. From 2007 to 2015, he supervised the design strategy for the entire Volkswagen group, including the TT, the Scirocco, the Passat and the Golf. Not a bad list of achievements, but in a interview several years ago, de Silva said that he considered the 2007 Audi A5 coupe the pinnacle of his automotive design art, citing its “sex appeal, the shape of the lights, the architecture.” Design/Style Audi Jaguar Land Rover Volkswagen Automotive History

Audi A7 getting nip and tuck

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

It's been less than two years since the Audi A7 first went on sale in the US, but European buyers have been able to enjoy the sleek and stylish hatchback for twice as long. As such, Audi is preparing to give its A7 a mild refresh with tweaked exterior styling, but we're also expecting some of the features found in the all-new 2015 Audi A8 to possibly trickle down to the A7.
From what we can tell in these spy shots, the A7 is getting a minor facelift that includes a restyled front fascia and new headlights, which will likely boast Audi's new Matrix LED system. At the rear of the car, similar changes have been made with a fascia that now gets integrated outlets and different taillights that have a Lamborghini-like display.
Not apparent in these images - but still a good bet for production - we'd expect to see the new A7 get some of Audi's updated engines or new driver assist technologies. No definite word as to when we'll be seeing the refreshed A7 in person, but considering how close to production ready as this car seems to be, our bet is on the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
