Everything works, Mobile 1 Oil in about 2,000 miles ago.  No check engine lights or service soon lights.

he car has just over 110,000 miles.  This has been my wifes car for the past year.  We purchased the car from the original owner and have done all of the routine services plus a lot more.  The carfax report is clean with no accidents or issues (see report below).  It has been a wonderful car to own but my wife is now taking a job that gives her a company vehicle so we will no longer need it.  I have receipts totalling close to $5,000 for services in the last year. Mobile 1 Oil changed every 4,000 miles. Here is a complete list of what has been done to the car this has all taken place between 99k miles up until now:

Valve Cover Gaskets

Front Upper and Lower Control Arms

Tie Rod End links

Sway Bar Bushings

New Koni Shocks

New Dunlop Tires installed last month

Oil Filter Housing Seal  (This is a common seal that will fail.  It is located under the intake manifold)  If an Audi 4.2L leaks oil and it is not from the valve covers it is more than likely this seal)  The Intake gasket seals were replaced too. While the intake was off we inspected the valves on the intake side and they were very clean with no carbon build up)

Transmission/Front Differential Fluid replaced (Audi service manual states the transmission fluid is lifetime but after reading other reviews this is recommended to extend the life of the transmission)

Rear Differential Fluid replaced

Serpetine Belt replaced

Condition:

There are a few blemished on the car. The front bumper has some minor scratches. There is a small door ding on the rear driver side door. There is a scuff on the lower fairing on the passenger side.  The wheels have a few curb rash but no major chunks out of the rims.  The rear bumper also has a few blemishes.  If you see all the photos you can see most of the blemishes.  It is a used car and is in good condition but a few door dings and scratches can be expected.  The interior of the car is in great shape.  There are no rips in the leather.  The carbon fiber trim above the glove box has a hairline crack, this was there when we purchased it.

Everything is in good working order.

We have both Master Keys and Service Manuals.

Audi did not build many S4's and the Avants are even more rare.

The vehicle can be shown any time of the week.  We are located in Redondo Beach, CA.  Indepent Inspections are welcomed as well.  If you are out of town I can deliver the car within a 10 mile radius of 90278 for an independent inspection.

Call me if you have any questions or concerns.  Casey (760)207-4438

There is a dealership close to us that will offer financing but you would have to be pre-approved prior to bidding. Call me if you want to get financing

I have a shipping company that will ship the car anywhere in the world.  Let me know if you need a good contact.  u ship will also give you good rates.

This is a no reserve auction and the car will be sold AS-IS

If you are the winning bidder please send a deposit via paypal for $500 within 48 hours from auction close.  The remaining balance will be due within 7 days from auction close.  I will accept cash in person, Cashier's or certified funds or bank wire transfer.  If you are not picking up the car in person I will require a bank wire transfer for funding.  If you are a scammer I will know so please do not waste my time.

Any questions please call me on my cell phone (760)207-4438.  Please do not call me and make low ball offers.  These Avants currently sell above KBB book values because of the rarity of the car.

Happy Bidding!

New Audi Q5 refines original model's winning formula

Thu, Sep 29 2016

The first Audi Q5 made a name for itself as a baby Q7, hitting a Goldilocks zone in the crossover segment and challenging BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Lexus for supremacy in what would become one of the luxury market's most important segments. The Q5 is already Audi's best-selling vehicle globally, underscoring its importance to the German brand. Like its predecessor, the second-generation Q5 takes the Q7's looks and tech, then distills it into a smaller package. But unlike the Q7, the Q5 doesn't look quite so dowdy in its redesigned body. We'll attribute that to the smaller front and rear overhangs, which keep the Q5 looking like a crossover instead of a high-riding wagon. The face is mostly a carbon copy of the Q7's, with a prominent grille featuring a silver surround and flanked by a set of clean, stylish headlights. In back, the smaller Audi gets more expressive taillights that harken back to the first-generation model in their lighting signature. We aren't really sure what Audi was going for with its two-tier rear bumper, but it doesn't work and is inarguably the worst piece of an otherwise fashionable design. Aside from restyling the Q5's body, Audi managed to both expand it in every direction and trim nearly 200 pounds of body fat through a mix of "maximum tensile strength" steel and aluminum. Audi is also promising an impressive aerodynamics gain for the new body – the company's engineers slashed the coefficient of drag from 0.33 to 0.30. That should mean a quieter and more efficient drive. Like the Q7, the new Q5 benefits from Audi's push into advanced driver information systems. It gets the 12.3-inch TFT display, also known as Virtual Cockpit, on top of the 8.3-inch MMI display atop the center stack. MMI takes a page from Apple with its Personal Route Assist. Much as CarPlay will automatically display how long it takes you to get home, Audi's new system can study an owner's behavior and suggest the best route to a given spot, even when the navigation isn't active. While we're geeked about the new tech, the powertrain front is less newsy. The European press release lists one gas engine – a 252-horsepower 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder – and four TDI powertrains. Those latter engines are dead to the US, as Audi faces the backlash from parent company Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal.

Audi planning RS Q7 performance crossover

Mon, Feb 16 2015

Audi resisted getting into the crossover market altogether until it launched the original Q7 in 2005, and held back from producing a performance crossover until it caved first with the SQ5 and then with the RS Q3, both in 2013. And now that the tide has washed over it, Ingolstadt's next plan, according to Top Gear, is to launch a performance version of the new Q7. Though it remains unclear whether it would carry the S or RS badge, the performance-oriented version of the new Q7 will surely benefit from the hundreds of pounds in excess weight Audi managed to trim off the latest model over the one it replaces. Also unclear is whether said hi-po Q7 would go with a diesel or a gasoline engine. The diesel option would more likely go the S route than the full RS, but wouldn't be likely to make it to the States if it were only offered as a diesel. With the SQ5, it's worth noting, Audi offers a TDI diesel version in Europe and a gasoline TSI in North America, so we wouldn't be surprised to see it take a similar approach with the larger model as well. Whatever it does pack under the hood, though, the SQ7 or RS Q7 would be facing some stiff competition from the likes of the Mercedes GL63 AMG, BMW X5 M and Range Rover Sport SVR – not to mention corporate cousins like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and upcoming Bentley Bentayga – while giving the Volkswagen group a bigger slice of that exclusive but expanding pie.
