2004 Audi S4 Quattro Sedan 4-door 4.2l 87k Miles on 2040-cars
Austin, Texas, United States
2004 Audi S4 6spd in excellent condition. Gray leather interior. Burl walnut trim. 4.2 liter V8, ~350Hp, completely stock, never modified (rare for these cars), never raced or tracked, just had coolant flush and new battery installed. Car is in perfect working order. All buttons work. Recaro seats in excellent condition. Clutch is smooth and shifts perfectly.
Very fast car when you want it to be, but also very comfortable...and is absolutely the best car you could ask for in rainy or wintery weather. Quattro AWD system is excellent and always gives you confidence the vehicle is in control. Extensive service history receipts comes with vehicle. Carfax also has documented service history for vehicle as well. This car has never let me down, and never given me a bit of trouble. When this car came out, Car and Driver compared the Audi S4 to BMW E46 M3 and Mercedes C43 AMG of the day, and the Audi won hands down. I have driven all three and agree completely. I'll be happy to answer any question and send more pictures upon request. Car is located in Austin, Texas. I would prefer local pick-up, but would be happy to help facilitate with buyer arranged transfer/delivery. I can also meet within a 100 mile radius of the Austin area. Buyer must contact me within 48hrs of auction end to arrange delivery and payment. This car is priced to sell. Thanks for looking. |

A8 Audi Exclusive Concept shows off brand's interior chops
Sat, 16 Nov 2013It's an envious position to be in, not wanting a normal Audi A8 but not wanting to make the statement that comes with a Bentley or a Rolls-Royce. What's an oligarch to do? Well, if you have the funds, consider the A8 Audi Exclusive Concept (yes, that's the actual name), a modified A8L W12 that's limited to just 50 units and features a significantly upgraded interior. Think of it as a followup to the A8 Exclusive Concept, shown at Frankfurt in 2011.
Aniline leather from Italian furniture manufacturer Poltrona Frau is fitted over the seats, while diamond stiching accentuates the Agatha Cognac color. Granite Gray piping and stitching on the seats provides some contrast - not just with the leather but the natural, olive ash inlays on the dash. Granite Gray Nappa leather lines the instrument panel and steering wheel while a white Alcantara headliner sets off the whole package. Not that it's a shock, but this looks like a really nice place to spend some time.
It's unclear how much the exclusive concept treatment adds on to the already lofty $135,900 starting price of a US-spec A8L W12, or if the special interior treatment will even be available in the North America. Production is set to kick off next March. Scroll down for the full statement from Audi.
Refreshed A1 packs Audi's first three-cylinder gas engine [w/video]
Mon, 17 Nov 2014Back in 2010, Audi debuted the diminutive A1, and it's sold over half a million of them since. Now, more than four years later, the German automaker has given its smallest and most accessible model a facelift and some updated equipment.
The latest version of the A1 benefits from a range of updates, including a sharpened take on the company's familiar styling with a reshaped single-frame grille, new bumpers front and rear as well as new wheel and color choices. But the biggest news is the introduction of Audi's first three-cylinder gasoline engine.
The turbocharged, direct-injected 1.0-liter three-pot churns out just 94 horsepower, but that's still six more than the previous base 1.2-liter four offered, all the while returning better fuel economy and emissions figures. Of course, that turbo three is not the only engine on offer, joining the 1.4-liter turbo four in 123- and 148-hp states of tune and the 113-hp 1.6-liter TDI. And of course there's still the 228-hp S1 performance model. Depending on specification, the engines are mated to a five- or six-speed manual, but can all be optioned with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission as well.
2014 Audi S3 Cabriolet
Tue, 01 Apr 2014Drivers are either droptop people or they're not. As most usually aren't - at least as far as the willingness to buy one is concerned - all convertibles tend to remain strictly niche cars. Thus, automakers must ask a noticeably higher price for them.
The Audi S3 Cabriolet is about as niche as you can get in the open daylight of mainstream automaking. Of course, the S3 cab doesn't really need to sell in big volumes; it exists because it's an easy and not too costly bit of flair for the company. In the US, this model would probably base out at around $44,000 if it were to join our fleet, which is problematic, as I'll soon explore.
In what may be a sign that Audi is essentially okay with all this, it had me up to central Sweden to twist around on the snow and ice in the open S3. The grounds ended up offering precious little ice and snow, so I drove the two-door ragtop on dusty, thawing Scandinavian roads. This was a blessing really, since ice driving in a cabrio - even a Quattro one - doesn't really reveal much of anything about such a car in its typical day-to-day life.
