2002 Audi S4 Quattro
3.0L Single Turbo 6-Speed
Background:
I am the second owner of this beautiful, very low mileage S4. Bought from the original owner after being garage stored for over 9 years. The entire car has been professionally built at 034 Motorsport in Fremont, CA. This IS NOT a test mule, this is the final result after months of testing and several prototype builds on various other shop cars.
It features many one off and hand made parts unique to this build. This is a 100% turn key, ready to drive car and does not need any further maintenance, tweaking, or tuning. All of the OEM features have been retained on the car, such as OEM fog lights, brand new OEM belly pan, complete and working A/C, full size spare, charcoal canister cover (now covers two 044 fuel pumps), and OEM auto leveling headlights. It has been my daily driver, and is the most well built daily driven single turbo S4 in the country. The build specs are as follows:

Power Spec’s: Custom 034 Motorsport tuning featuring:
ECU #1
412whp on California 91 octane and 18psi of boost on 034’s Mustang dyno, calculated to 500hp at crank. 5,000 RPM anti-lag programmed in as well. This is the daily driven tune.
ECU #2
500+whp on 100 octane, over 600 at the crank. 26psi of boost, 5,400rpm anti lag set up. This is an aggressive race tune, but is not too bad on the street either.
To put these dyno numbers in perspective, and supercharged B7 RS4 on 100 octane makes 505whp on this dyno, while APR rates this kit at 688whp. This is a “heartbreaker” mustang dyno.
Why selling: This build was done to showcase the awesome functionality, power, and beauty the 034 STK has when it is properly put together and built up. It was also a showcase of my own craftsmanshift and fabrication abilities. I am selling it in order to fund another big project I am waiting to start. This is the second single turbo B5 S4 that I am offering up for sale. The first build was sold a little over a year ago; I am still in regular contact with the buyer, offering both technical support and suggestions for adapting the car to his specific needs. The same support is offered for this build.
This car is also built clean and completely reversible. The car can be returned to 100% stock if this is desired by the future owner. I can provide a complete parts list of what is needed to do the conversion back.
I welcome buyers to come take a look at the car personally, serious buyers (cash in hand) I would be happy to take for a ride and show some of the cars features, such as anti-lag. Feel free to call or text with questions: (630) Four Three Three 8 Seveo O 1 |

Audi prepping a flex-fuel A3 for Latin America
Fri, Oct 16 2015Volkswagen's Audi division hasn't fared well from its parent company's diesel-emissions scandal, especially in the US and Europe. In South America, though, Audi is set to unveil its first vehicle of the flex-fuel variety, according to Nseavoice. Perhaps the German automaker can earn some good karma down in the Southern Hemisphere. The model is the 2016 Audi A3, which is made in Audi's Brazil factory. The engine is a 1.4-liter variety, and it will be able to run on either conventional gasoline or ethanol, or a blend of both. The decision makes sense because ethanol is plentiful in Brazil since the government has long pushed for it and there's plenty of sugar-cane feedstock to produce the stuff. Audi can use all of the positive news it can get, especially in the wake of VW's diesel-emissions scandal. As many as 11 million VW and Audi diesels may have been fitted with software that cheats emissions-testing systems. One result from the scandal's proverbial shrapnel is that the Audi A3 TDI diesel was stripped of its 2010 Green Car of the Year Award by Green Car Journal. The decision marks the first time in the award's history that a winner was stripped of the honor. VW has a long history offering flex-fuel vehicles in Brazil. In 2003, the German automaker was the first to debut a flex-fuel engine, and within two years, VW's Brazil factories were making 300,000 flex-fuel vehicles annually. Other companies have since jumped into Brazil's flex-fuel fray, including Nissan and Honda.
Audi SQ7 TDI packs 48V electric compressor, 664 lb-ft
Thu, Mar 3 2016Take a look at the new Audi SQ7 TDI. It's the first time Audi has done an S performance version of its flagship sport-ute, and packs under the hood a 4.0-liter V8 turbo diesel engine mated to an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. It produces a potent 435 horsepower, and an absolutely bonkers 664 pound-feet of torque. The Audi SQ7 TDI produces a massive 664 lb-ft of torque. Impressive as it is, though, that doesn't even tell the full story. That's enough to make us forget it wasn't there in Geneva. It's also more torque than just about anything the Volkswagen Group makes – short of the Bentley Mulsanne Speed and the new Bugatti Chiron. Not even the Lamborghini Aventador SV or Bentley Continental GT Speed can touch that torque figure. Nor can competition like the Porsche Cayenne S Diesel (with its 385 hp and 627 lb-ft) or the BMW X5 M50d (381 hp and 546 lb-ft). It may not surpass the old twelve-cylinder Q7 6.0 TDI (with its 493 hp and 738 lb-ft), but still trounces the VW Touareg V10 TDI (309 hp and 553 lb-ft) – which was strong enough to tow a jet airplane, while the new SQ7 is fast enough to out-drag one (as you can see from the video below). Impressive as it is, though, that headline-grabbing torque figure doesn't tell the full story. To get there, Audi employed two conventional, sequential turbochargers and a third compressor that – in an industry first that's been a long time coming – is powered electrically. The engineers in Ingolstadt installed a beefier 48-volt electric subsystem to power the electric compressor (among other systems) and its latest valvetrain tech for the first time in a diesel. The result, Audi says, is a lack of any perceptible turbo lag – and a 0-62 time quoted at 4.8 seconds, en route to the typical electronically limited top speed of 155 miles per hour. As if that weren't enough, Audi also equipped the SQ7 TDI with an optional suspension package that coordinates the activities of three systems. There's a differential, a four-wheel steering system, and a clever electromechanical roll stabilization system that employs an electric motor (made possible once again by that 48-volt system) and a three-stage planetary gearbox to keep it all level and improve ride quality over rough surfaces. The sum total is an impressive technological tour de force on Audi's part, but one that we may just have to admire from afar.
Audi A3 E-Tron goes carbon neutral with German green electricity deal
Tue, Apr 1 2014Audi is proving that the fresh water flowing through the European Alps isn't just for bottling and drinking anymore. The German automaker struck a deal with Hamburg-based LichtBlick to offer buyers of the Audi A3 Sportback E-Tron a chance to get their electrical juice from all renewable-energy sources. That means all the power going into charging stations can come from hydroelectric power from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The nuts and bolts part of it is that users pay the equivalent of about $12.30 a month plus 37 cents per kilowatt hour for the service. And LichtBlick is indeed legit, as it has been certified by TUV Nord for having at least one third of its power come from hydroelectric plants that are were built less than six years ago. Audi is looking to boost sales from a model it unveiled at last year's Geneva Motor Show. The car pairs a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor that combines for 250 horsepower. Most importantly, the A3 E-Tron gets a combined fuel economy rating of 157 miles per gallon. And while that figure comes from the more generous European driving cycle, it's impressive nevertheless. Check out Audi's press release below and read the Autoblog Quick Spin here. Audi and LichtBlick offer green electricity CO2-neutral mobility with Audi energy TUV-certified green electricity from the energy provider LichtBlick As an accompaniment to the market launch of the A3 e tron*, Audi is offering customers in Germany green electricity – Audi energy. The cooperating partner is the Hamburg energy provider LichtBlick SE. With Audi energy, the A3 e tron is totally emission-free when operated electrically. The power all comes from renewable energy sources and is generated exclusively at hydro-electric power stations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Audi A3 e-tron can be recharged when parked at your home with Audi energy. At the same time, the entire household is supplied with eco-friendly electric power. Audi energy is currently available for a basic monthly fee of EUR 8.95 and 26.76 cents per kilowatt-hour. The origin and quality of the green electricity are certified by TUV Nord. The "OK power" seal of quality also confirms the expansion of power generation from renewable sources: at least one-third of the electricity comes from hydro-electric power plants less than six years old. Providers of this green electricity do not make use of federal subsidies pursuant to the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG).
