Limited-production RS6 model, only 870 imported to the USA. The high torque engine propels the RS6 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and to 100 in merely 10.7 seconds.
It's the first North American-market model from quattro GmbH, which is the high performance arm of Germany's Audi AG--the parent company of Audi of America. So owning this very unique rare car is very special.
Numbers don't tell the whole story. The RS6 is one of few cars that quickly attains high speeds with seemingly no effort. This is one of those rare fast autos that is so smooth, quiet and docile that an eye should be kept on the speedometer because you're often going faster than you think.
The RS6 actually is fun to drive at any speed because it has that hunkered-down feel of a race car, with right-now responses to controls. Generally, the best light, high-performance sports cars offer that responsiveness. The RS 6 is a 5-passenger sedan that has a fairly long 108.6-inch wheelbase.
You will also be one a few people with this car as mentioned previously, only 870 were imported to the US total, there are no more.
This car comes with an APT Front Mount Twin Turbo Intercooler Kit, Perfomance Exhaust, twin K&N intakes, and Eurocharge Stage 1 ECU/ MTM TCU tuning with around 550hp. It has aftermarket wheels, profile tires, and of course, the car is fully loaded. The front vanity plate can be removed and replaced with the actual Texas licence plate which I have and you'll receive.
*This Audi RS6 has had all the recalls done, so you don't have to worry about that. All recall campaigns have expired, so if you don't buy this Audi RS6, make sure whichever one you buy has had the recalls performed because Audi will not cover them anymore, especially the gas tank nipple recall. That's a costly one if it has to come out of your pocket.
This car has a bumper to bumper extended warranty.
I paid $24,000 for this RS6 plus I spent about $7,000 in aftermarket parts, total out of pocket = $31,000
Mechanically in excellent condition, transmission shifts perfect, brakes work great, drives in a straight line, engine pulls strong as it should.
If you are familiar with Audi, then you know how special this car is, and how special it is to own.
THIS AUDI RS6 IS TRULY A ONE OF A KIND! THIS BEAUTY IS GARRAGE KEPT, NON-SMOKER, NEVER RACED OR ABUSED, THIS IS MY FAMILY CAR, I AM A FATHER OF THREE, I JUST LOVE AUDI.
BEST PRICE ON EBAY FOR THIS INCREDIBLE 550HP AUDI RS6 SUPER CAR!!! ONE OF A KIND!!

Audi RS3 and Volkswagen Golf R face off in Evo test
Fri, Aug 7 2015Typically when an automotive publication pits two rivals against each other, they come from different companies. After all, why would one automaker – even one parent company – develop two distinct models to compete against each other? Well, the Volkswagen Group isn't like most. It pits Porsches against Lamborghinis, Audis against Bentleys, Seats against Skodas... all under the same roof. In the high-powered hot hatch market, it offers both the VW Golf R and the Audi RS3. The question is, which is the better drive? Evo put them both on track for a quick bout of sibling rivalry to find out. On paper it would seem like an unfair fight. Sure, both are based on the same platform and channel their power to the tarmac through all four wheels. But the Audi's five-cylinder engine packs considerably more muscle than the Golf's four: 362 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque trump 296 hp and 280 lb-ft. There's just no way around that – at least until the Golf R 400 comes along. The Audi, as you might have guessed, also costs substantially more than the Volkswagen. But that's not Evo's concern here. This is a cost-no-object, bare-knuckle throw-down. Watch the ten-minute video above to find out if the cheaper, less powerful Golf R can keep pace with its more upscale and brawnier brother. Don't hold your breath for an Audi RS8
Mon, 14 Oct 2013There was a time not so long ago when Quattro GmbH produced essentially one model at a time. But that time is behind us. These days it's expanding into a full-fledged performance division to rival Mercedes-AMG and BMW's M department. Quattro GmbH is currently building the Audi RS4 Avant, RS5 coupe and cabrio, RS6 Avant, RS7, RS Q3 and the TT RS coupe and roadster - not to mention the R8. And while it's showing no signs of slowing down, but the latest intel from across the pond suggests we shouldn't count on an RS version of Audi's flagship sedan.
This according to Car and Driver, which spoke to Stephan Reil, the chief engineer at Quattro GmbH. Reil says Audi works on a teutonically rigid performance formula: an RS model has to have 20 to 25 percent more power than the existing S version. Considering that the existing S8 makes 512 horsepower and the RS7 a solid 553, we're not sure Audi really needs anything more powerful. But by Reil's calculations, the RS8 would need to pack between 630 and 655 hp, which would put it well ahead of rivals like the 550-hp Jaguar XJR, the 540-hp BMW Alpina B7, the 523-hp Maserati Quattroporte and even the new 577-hp Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG - and in league only with the even more powerful S65 AMG, which in its outgoing form produced 630 hp.
The question then comes down to whether there are enough customers lining up for the S65 that Audi would want to poach away from Mercedes. Or perhaps more pertinently, whether it might end up just taking customers from the new Bentley Flying Spur, which is already offering 616 horsepower in an even more prestigious, if less performance-focused package. Either way you look at it, Audi is apparently steering clear.
