2004 Audi A6 3.0L Quattro with 120k miles in really nice condition for a rebuild or great for parts.
Was my moms car. Was running great prior to accident and still runs great. My parents maintained the car extremely well and this would be a great project for a cheap rebuild or an awesome parts car. I've pictured the car to show the damage. Looks like their is a little frame damage on the passenger side; absolutly an easy fix on a frame straightener. Looks like it is a diamond style frame damage. But only appears to have pushed it a little; see pic of the actual bent frame. -We have all fog lights, undamaged -Driver side headlight, undamaged -Motor and tranny are in great working order. car is running and driving. -All power options are fully functional -Interior is in great shape. Driver seat has a little crack but everything else looks great. -Dash is in great shape without cracks etc. -All lights in the instrument cluster work, NO BURNT OUT LEDS What is damaged -Hood has a little damage; minor -Passenger side fender -Front bumper -Passenger side headlight The was a minor crack in the windshield prior to the accident The check engine light has been checked and the code was for a catylitic converter. I feel this would be a great car for a rebuild. However, low miles on a great motor / trans could be an awesome shell for parts. Car has 120k pampered miles. Pick up or shipping is available. Please call with any questions or email Marty 562-305-4299 If buyer would like to come see prior to auction end please let me know. Will take vehicle to mechanic of buyers choice at buyers expense for inspection. If inspection is requested it must be done before auction end. DO NOT BID IF YOU CANT PAY please… This is not a free service. eBay charges for listing and selling. The best part in buying this car is it was owned by my mom so we know everything about it. NOT buying from a salvage yard who can't/won't tell you details about the car. I will be glad to give you as much detail as you would like… Just ask |

2015 Audi A3 Sedan priced from $29,900* [w/video]
Fri, 25 Oct 2013One year after the all-new Audi A3 bowed in Europe, the US finally will get the 2015 A3 sedan in 2014, and the German automaker announced yesterday that it's priced from $29,900 (*not including destination, and we've reached out to Audi asking for the price of delivery). A bit later in 2014, the A3 Cabriolet will be released along with the S3 sedan. The A3 Sportback will be a 2015 model, though it will only be offered as a gasoline-electric hybrid. Prices weren't given for those models and, sadly, the three-door hatch isn't slated for US consumption.
The A3 sedan will be offered with three engine choices, all of them featuring direct-injection, turbocharging and four cylinders: a 1.8-liter TFSI, 2.0-liter TFSI and 2.0-liter TDI - that last one's a diesel. If you count the S3 sedan, that's another engine in the lineup - a 296-horsepower version of the 2.0 TFSI.
As we were told at the 2014 A3's "unofficial" world debut in New York City earlier this year, Audi says US customers won't get the option of a six-speed manual transmission, as the Europeans do. All engines will be mated exclusively to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Audi wants to keep you healthy while behind the wheel
Wed, Jan 6 2016Health tracking is all the rage. You can get smart watches and smart wristbands and all sorts of silly tech to give you intricate metrics about your wellbeing. Hell, my bathroom scale is connected and will automagically sync my latest weight, body fat, and heart rate readings to an app on my smartphone. Bathroom scales and wearables aside, Audi is hoping to bring this fitness-tracking tech to four wheels with its new Fit Driver system. No surprise, the new program was announced at the technophile's paradise that is the Consumer Electronics Show. Paired with a wearable, like an Apple Watch or FitBit, that would monitor heart rate and skin temperature, the car's sensors can track a driver's breathing and driving style. This data can be analyzed alongside weather and traffic information, effectively allowing the car to determine how stressed or tired a driver is. Systems within the vehicle would then be tweaked to "relax, vitalize, or even protect the driver." This can take the form of an automatic massage and adjustments to the cabin temperature, ambient lighting, and infotainment. So when you're about to go full road rage because there's a Camry doing ten under in the left lane, Sirius could flip on the easy listening of Watercolors to calm you down. Naturally, this technology is still in the early stages, and there's no word about when it could actually arrive in production vehicles. But as driverless systems evolve, Audi is aiming to develop such an advanced health suite that an autonomous vehicle could detect a medical emergency, pull over safely, and call for assistance. Here's to the future, folks. Check out the official release below. Audi Fit Driver Audi envisions a future in which drivers leave their cars more relaxed than when they entered them. The car, as a personal yet simultaneously connected space, is ideal for health and fitness monitoring. Under the motto "my Audi cares for me", Audi Fit Driver will become a supportive driving companio. The Audi Fit Driver project focuses on the well-being and health of the driver. A wearable (fitness wristband or smartwatch) monitors important vital parameters such as heart rate and skin temperature. Vehicle sensors supplement this data with information on driving style, breathing rate and relevant environmental data such as weather or traffic conditions. The current state of the driver, such as elevated stress or fatigue, is deduced from the collected data.
New Audi TT likely headed for Geneva reveal
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Between the Consumer Electronics Show and the Detroit Auto Show, Audi is creating plenty of buzz lately for its upcoming third-generation TT. Fortunately, we won't have to wait too much longer to see the next Audi TT, though, as Autocar reports that the coupe will make its big debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
In speaking with Audi's technical chief Ulrich Hackenberg, the article states that the 2015 TT will first be revealed in March before going on sale later in the year. Previewed by the Allroad Shooting Brake Concept (shown above), it isn't that hard envisioning what the new TT could look like: ditch the shooting brake roofline, tall ride height and obvious conceptual design cues. Of course, if this styling is more your thing than the two-seater TT, Hackenberg left open the possibility of a TT Allroad or even a TT-based crossover.
