Description Up for sale is a gorgeous 2010 Audi A6 Quattro Premium Plus luxury sedan equipped with a strong yet fuel efficient 3.0L V6 Turbo engine and Automatic transmission with manual shift option. This A6 has just 38k original miles on the clock and it runs and drives LIKE NEW! We have recently purchased the car from an insurance company with water damage announcement. When we got the car, there were NO signs of water inside! The carpet was dry and all connectors and metal parts were intact! There was NO damage to the engine or transmission! We have carefully inspected the vehicle and flushed fluids to make sure there is no water there. We have also checked the wiring and connectors, professionally detailed the interior and installed a brand new battery. The car runs and drives GREAT with no problems. Engine, transmission and all electrical components including power heated seats, blower motor, radio, power windows etc work fine. The interior is extra clean with no rips or or odors of any kind, still smells LIKE NEW! The car was obviously well maintained by its owner. This is a NON-smoker vehicle. All four tires are still in good shape. We've put almost 2000 miles on the car since we got it because it was too nice not to drive it and there are absolutely NO issues with it! Due to huge number of vehicles affected by Hurricane Sandy, insurance companies simply did not have time to carefully inspect every car. Audi-only rental car company expands
Thu, Jun 18 2015With the lines and occasional hassle, getting a rental car after a long flight can be daunting, even if you already have a reservation. Now, a company called Silvercar is trying to inject some luxury and modern, high-tech features into the process to make it less of a chore. The business recently expanded to O'Hare International Airport to offer visitors to Chicago a fleet exclusively comprised of silver Audi A4s. Silvercar is based in Austin, TX, and is being run by Luke Schneider, a former chief technology officer at ZipCar. He told Crain's Chicago Business that the rental industry "hasn't innovated in 30 to 40 years." Silvercar's big innovation is in the booking process. Like ordering practically anything today, it's all done through a smartphone app. Customers then scan a QR code on the Audi's windshield to get going. At the end of the rental, the bill is emailed to you. Prices start around $59 a day on weekends and $89 during the week, according to Crain's. Because they're all A4s with GPS and Wi-Fi, everyone gets the same car. In the world of ridesharing companies like Uber and Lyft, rental cars might seem passe, but according to Crain's, the rental market at O'Hare alone amounts to over $300 million a year. Silvercar's location there isn't at the actual airport, though. Instead, a shuttle picks up customers to take them to the company's site nearby. The business is working on a national rollout to 10 airports by the end of June, including major locations like LAX and Denver. 2016 Audi R18 whooshes around Sebring to test for WEC
Fri, Dec 11 2015The 2016 Audi R18 is a radically different endurance racer than the model it replaces. The designers drape the chassis in an angular body rather than the previous curves, and the engineers added lithium-ion batteries for energy storage. Now, we get to see these big changes in motion thanks to a video of the new car testing at Sebring. Like previous iterations of Audi's diesel-fueled racers, the latest R18 is quiet around the track. It seems to sneak up on corners with just a whoosh and a whir from the powertrain. The updated design also looks a lot better in motion than in static photos. Audi had a rough time in the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship after losing to rival Porsche both at Le Mans during the summer and in the manufacturers' standings at the end of the year.
