Selling my 2006 Audi A4 112,000 miles equipped with 2.0 Turbocharged 4-Cylinder engine 200HP Quattro All Wheel Drive Tiptronic Automatic Shiftable Trans with Sport Mode 19 inch MMR HR2 Wheels 5x112 Bolt Pattern New 235-35/19 General G-Max AS03 Tires Ocean blue Pearl Effect Paint Color Platinum Gray leather Interior Heated Seats Power Sliding Sunroof Auto-Dimming Rear and Heated Folding Side View Mirrors Steering Wheel Radio Controls Volume and Seek Audi Symphony Radio Sirius Radio Capable with 10 speakers In-Dash Compass and Exterior Temperature Reading Dual Tip Exhaust Mudflaps Automatic Headlights Fog Lights 2 Key Fob Transmitters 1 Valet Key Rear Lip Trunk Spoiler This car was my personal vehicle, very reliable, especially with the Quattro all wheel drive in winter, the car will go anywhere and eliminates winter weather worries. The car was always garage kept, and hand washed with monthly waxes and details. The paint is in great shape and is a great looking rare Audi color. Interior is in great shape, leather isn't torn or wrinkled. Carpet is clean without stains. The MMR wheels are in good condition with a full set of 5, one is the full sized spare. I just put tires on the car about 2 months ago and they are like new with full tread. This car handles perfectly, car was recently aligned and holds the road straight and true. I also installed a new set of coilpacks just last week. The car is lowered on ST coilovers, with less than 5,000 miles on them since installed, the car comes with the stock suspension springs and shocks as well if you desire to take it back to stock. I also have the original Audi 5 spoke star design wheels that will go along with the car they have tires mounted, but they will need a new set, would work nice for a set of snow tires. Car was serviced every 4,000 miles with Audi filter and synthetic oils. I just had the timing belt and water pump replaced at the suggested 100,000 miles. This car is in near perfect condition with NO ACCIDENTS and CLEAN CARFAX. I am the third owner, and I am positive that with the condition the car is in, the previous owners took great care of the car. You wont be disappointed with this Audi, feel free to give me a call or text me at 267-374-3168 Please contact me before hitting Buy it Now so we can discuss payment, and minimize Ebay selling fees. |

Delphi thrilled with results from autonomous car's cross-country trip
Fri, Apr 3 2015In the first trip across the United States ever made by an autonomous car, engineers from Delphi Automotive were surprised to learn that, in some cases, their vehicle behaved a lot like a human driver. "The car was scared of tractor trailers," said Jeff Owens, the company's chief technology officer. "The car edged to the left just a little bit when it would pass trucks, and that was an interesting observation." Engineers made hundreds of notes throughout the drive, as the autonomous car covered 3,400 miles through 15 states en route to a showcase near the New York Auto Show. Overall, company officials said the car performed better than anticipated in a variety of road and weather conditions. In the course of the cross-country drive, drivers actually controlled the car only for about 50 miles, and those cases were limited to on-and-off ramps and the occasional construction zone where lanes were not marked or only sporadically marked. The purpose of the trip was to glean information on how the autonomous car worked in a real-world environment. Google and others have tested autonomous cars and autonomous features in select real-world environments before, but Delphi's adventure was the first to trek into a test with such varied challenges over a nine-day trip that began near the Golden Gate Bridge on March 22. There are some things the engineers have already learned, like the fact the camera systems had the occasional blip when the sun-angle was low. And there are some things to still be learned, as they pour over three terrabytes worth of data from cameras, radar and lidar sensors in the weeks ahead. "It's going to take us a couple weeks to digest all this," Owens said. "But we had all the data from tests. It was time to put this on the road." Built into an Audi SQ5, the vehicle was striking, if only for the fact it looked like a normal car. Many other autonomous vehicles have quirky sensors atop the roof or other features that make them stand out as experiments. Delphi arranged this one to look as much like a normal car as possible, right down to stowing an army of computers under cargo mats, so the rear contained as much trunk space as the production model. If a fellow motorist didn't know where to look -- or take the time to notice the person in the driver's seat didn't have their hands on the wheel -- there was no reason to suspect this was anything other than a regular car.
Next Audi R8 to share hybrid tech with Lamborghini Asterion
Wed, 08 Oct 2014The second-generation Audi R8 isn't far away, but when it arrives, it could serve to seriously shake up the supercar market according to Audi research and development boss Ulrich Hackenberg.
Speaking to Car in the UK, Hackenberg confirmed quite unequivocally that a plug-in-hybrid model and a pure electric were coming. And as with the current R8, the next-gen model will borrow from Audi's Italian cousins at Lamborghini.
"We are able to make the R8 a plug-in hybrid," Hackenberg told Car. "The Lamborghini Asterion shows this is possible - that car uses the platform of the R8. We will see an increase in the efficiency of high-performance cars - they have to meet CO2 regulations of the future in order to survive."
Audi reveals R8 E-Tron Piloted Driving concept at CES Asia
Mon, May 25 2015Designed as they are to take the driver out of the equation, you might think that the idea of an autonomous vehicle would seem diametrically opposed to that of a supercar. But Audi disagrees. The German automaker has cooked up a series of "piloted driving" concepts that are increasingly focused on performance, and this could be the ultimate iteration yet. Audi's latest Piloted Driving demonstrator is based on the R8 E-Tron. It's altogether almost identical to the one we saw in Geneva, packing an electric powertrain to deliver 456 horsepower, 679 pound-feet of torque and a 0-62 time of 3.9 seconds. Only in this case, it can do it all on its own, without any driver intervention. To pull that off, Ingolstadt has fitted this show car with an array of sensors, including a new laser scanner, multiple video cameras, ultrasonic sensors and radar transmitters at both ends – all handled by a central "driver assistance control unit." It's the latest in a series of concept cars that has already included a version of the RS7 Sportback designed to lap the racetrack, and the Prologue concept that drove itself to CES. This concept was similarly unveiled at CES Asia, the Eastern counterpart to the tech expo we usually catch in Las Vegas. Just what the point is in engineering (or buying) one of the best-driving cars on the market and then handing over its operation to a computer, we don't quite get. But at least we can rest easy knowing that Audi is not giving up on performance as autonomous tech turns the driver into just another passenger. Related Video: Audi R8 e-tron piloted driving technical concept car 340 kW of power, 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 3.9 seconds and a driving range of 450 km (279.6 mi) – Audi has extensively developed its all-electrically powered high-performance R8 e-tron sports car further. The technology study is one of the highlights of CES Asia, and it brings together future technologies – which relate to lightweight design, high-performance drive systems and functions for piloted driving. The Audi R8 e-tron piloted driving concept car is based on the multimaterial Space Frame of the new production R8. A rear car body module made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) integrates the luggage compartment, which extends the frame structure. The walls of the luggage compartment shell are corrugated, so that they can absorb extreme amounts of energy with little material weight in case of a rear-end collision.
