2.0 Turbo, All-wheel drive, 6 speed automatic with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, plenty of get-up-n-go!

Loaded with nearly every factory option, leather, heated seats, panoramic moonroof, xenon lights, LED tail lights, S-Line appearance package, auto headlights/wipers, Bluetooth, Bose Sound....all that and almost 30 MPG!

I bought this Audi with the intent of keeping it however I am purchasing a home and could use the extra cash for remodel etc. I have done a few aesthetic modifications but it can all be removed if you desire. No performance modifications as to maintain reliability and ease of ownership.

This is my daily driver but as you can see I'm meticulous about detailing and keeping it clean. BBS LM Rep wheels and tires are practically brand new (3 months) Unfortunately I only have 3 of the original wheels and tires, the 4th was damaged as a result of the accident, they will also be included in the sale price.

The only flaw with my car is the fact it carries a salvage title. I have pictures of the damage (via email) prior to repair and can provide receipts for the parts and repair as well. It has passed all necessary safety inspections and is registered and insured through Farmers. I have the title in hand and SMOG/emission inspection will be done prior to sale.

Feel free to call with any questions or if you would like to set up a time to see it. (Text OK)

A quick list of the non-factory upgrades

BBS LM Replica wheels NITTO tires RS mesh center grille REAL 2014 front plate from Germany H&R sport springs (oem springs included) Custom Audi Q5 roof racks (custom made to fit the A3, OEM A3 racks are hideous) Bluetooth audio (play music from your phone, does not interfere with factory bluetooth "hands free calling") LED Interior light bulbs, crisp white and bright

Like any used vehicle purchase, this Audi is being sold AS-IS, no warranty expressed or implied. I will make the vehicle available for pre-purchase inspections at the prospective buyers request. All costs associated with inspection will be the responsibility of the buyer. I am willing to drive within 40 miles of 95670 for inspections however I will not leave the vehicle overnight with ANY shop.

I can help arrange transportation after the sale, please contact me prior to bidding if you have special circumstances. I have resources which make transportation REALLY affordable. If you plan on flying in---driving the Audi home, I can pick you up at Sacramento International Airport. Amtrak and Greyhound stations are also within the vicinity and I am willing to pick you up from any of those locations-no cab/taxi ride needed.

As far as payment, I am willing to accept Cashiers Checks or Money Orders. HOWEVER I will request that we draw the check from a local branch. Checks are getting easier and easier to fake, therefore I would like to be present when the check is drawn from your account. Bank wire transfers will also work, but please bear in mind any time it may take for the transfer to complete and clear. As always, CASH is KING, hundreds and fifties will be more than happily accepted!

Here's 90 pictures for you to enjoy :)

Audi replaces Mercedes as official vehicle supplier to the IOC

Sat, 12 Jan 2013

The automotive sponsor of the International Olympic Committee for the past 22 years has been Daimler-Benz. No more, as Audi has just signed a four-year deal to be the official auto supplier to the folks who keep the torch alight and on the move. Audi will supply vehicles for the IOC's headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland and the organization's international events.
In case you're remembering all the stories about BMW and the London Olympics last summer and wondering where Mercedes-Benz was in all of that, the answer lies in the numerous mouths at the Olympic trough. The IOC is the organization and oversight body of the Olympics - much like the way the FIA oversees world motorsport. BMW, though, sponsored the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, so during the games IOC reps rode in Benzes, LOCOG and its guest dignitaries rode in BMWs.
The Volkswagen Group has other ties with the Olympics as well: The Group will be the official vehicle partner for the winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in 2014, and Audi currently partners the national Olympic federations of Germany, Finland, Russia and Switzerland. The press release below announcing the partnership has all the official details.

1,682 miles in a 2014 Audi A8 L TDI - Part 2

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

Interruptions like the Canadian Grand Prix, Le Mans, Pikes Peak, that ridiculous Porsche 911 GT3 and the really good, really outrageous Jeep Cherokee, are among the distractions that delayed the conclusion of this tale. If you'll remember, in Part 1 we started off in a parking lot in Sebring with an Audi A8, headed anywhere that would empty our tank, and after five days in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and Pompano Beach we bolted in the middle of the night for a breakfast date at an IHOP a couple hundred miles away.
We last left proceedings at a Chevron pump beside the West Florida Turnpike, somewhere around midnight in the humid wilds, having done 660 miles and spent $89.40 to put 20.992 gallons in the great white whale. We had done average speed of 31 miles per hour at an average rate of 27.5 miles per gallon. Those kinds of numbers, as we demonstrated, are good enough to put you in the fuel economy orbit of the Toyota Corolla - to be precise, it only cost $6.40 more to cover that 660 miles in the A8 TDI than it would in the Japanese compact. That led us to conclude that there were just a couple of Starbucks Venti lattes between the A8 and the Corolla, assuming we conveniently ignore the two cars' purchase prices. Turns out we were wrong: it didn't take long for a commenter named "mike" to set us straight when he wrote, "It's clear you weren't lying about not frequenting Starbucks...no way could you get two venti lattes for $6.40." Mike, we salute you - our ignorance of terrible coffee has served the higher purpose of emphasizing the strong case made by the diesel Audi.
But that A8... well, the wheels were still on the damn thing and we had to drive them off. That meant five more days of pilot duty to get us from wherever the hell we were to Wildwood and Daytona Beach, FL, then Brunswick, Macon and Atlanta, GA, then Birmingham, AL, and back to Atlanta.
