One of only 500 made in this color combo. I love this car and hate to part with it. So, I am fully aware that my retail price is off of suggested in the car "books." Two previous owners were older. I purchased it from a dealer in Florida. I am in AZ. BTW, the valet parking kids always put this up front.
At launch this car was miles ahead of standard technologically- 6 speed, turbocharged, AWD, Haldex torque management, AND it gets 25 MPG! The suspension is nearly completely stock except for the adjustable lower control arms in the rear. This was done to adjust camber with a lower offset in the rear wheels. The red leather interior is stunning. Bose sound system with 6 disc changer. Zenon headlights. Heated seats and Homelink remote transmitter. The car has numerous upgrades including:
- APR Stage 1 upgrade - dyno'd at 250 HP on 91 octane, 255 on 93 octane
- Red powder coated adjustable rear lower control arms to allow for greater offset
- Osir DTM Valence
- Osir Telson Spoiler
- Tenso 18" lightweight wheels
- H & R Wheel Spacers
- BlueFlame stainless exhaust - beautiful - quiet - low sound - appropriate with character of the car
- Relatively new (90%) Nitto Invo 225/40-18
- K & N air cleaner
- Red painted emblems and accents

Audi's next R8 snapped running the 'Ring nearly naked
Wed, 09 Apr 2014Following the debut of the Lamborghini Huracán, work is now well well under way on its cousin. That, of course, would be the next-generation Audi R8, the followup to the model that put Ingolstadt on the supercar map in 2006 and has been on the market ever since. That's an eight-year lifespan, though to be fair, for 2014 it has gotten a pretty meaningful update. Still, that's a long lifecycle, even if the Gallardo with which it shares its underpinnings was around even longer. In other words, it's about due for replacement.
Fortunately, that's just what Audi has in the cards. We've seen prototypes wearing heavy camouflage lapping the Nürburgring a couple of times over the past few weeks, but now it's been snapped nearly completely undisguised, with largely bare black bodywork giving us an even better look at what to anticipate.
So what are we looking at here? A sharper-looking take on the existing design, for starters, so onlookers and customers alike shouldn't have any trouble identifying this as an R8 - but a newer one at that. It seems to take some cues from the new TT, particularly around the headlights, with more squared-off elements throughout. There's an adaptive rear wing poking out the back and more pronounced side-blade intakes between the doors and the rear wheels, which themselves are wearing ultra low-profile rubber.
Did the new Audi R8 just get outed on Instagram?
Sat, Feb 7 2015While we can't confirm it officially, what you're looking at above, according to Instagram user dreboog (Dre Boogie), may indeed be the next Audi R8. We're expecting Audi's revised supercar to get its official debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, which would makes the timing of this leak make sense. You can compare this image with the spy shots we've already seen and draw your own conclusions, but it looks about right to our eyes. There are a few interesting tidbits worth noting, the most immediately obvious being the lack of the so-called side blades that were a polarizing styling element with the first Audi R8 first hit the scene but which have since become part of the coupe's signature look. We also see a front fascia that brings the low-slung coupe more in line with the German brand's current design ethos. Besides those readily apparent cues, there's not much to glean from this Instagram leak. We'd certainly expect more power from Audi's halo car, but just how much more than the 430 horsepower offered by the current V8, 525 hp from the V10 or 550 hp from the V10 Plus, we look forward to finding out. In the meantime, feel free to let us know what you think in the Comments.
