I purchased this vehicle just over a year ago for my son and we decided to have a fun project so we did a few things to this TT to make it go a little faster with the promise that my son won't get in trouble with it. 3 speeding tickets and a suspension later i must sell the car now. I originally purchased car in 12/02 for $11k with 83k miles on it i believe. my son didn't start driving it till 11/13. We had the car at ics performance (very reputable company who has the most powerful daily driver M3 in the world) and had an on slaw of stuff done one shot to improve cars overall characteristics(performance wise). the list of options we added are as follows:
APR stage 2 flash for cat delete Stage 2 APR clutch and flywheel package OKI ignition and iridium plugs APR diverter valve APR intercooler hose and throttle hoses 42 DD 3" down pipe 42 DD cold air intake P3 cars gauge Brembo factory size cross drilled rotors and stainless lines SSR 17" lightweight wheels with new tires Port and polished cylinder head (bought a separate cylinder head and had the work done) I have original air box, original down pipe with cat, original cylinder head and any other factory parts to go with sale of vehicle I have receipts for all work done to car, car was purchased in complete stock condition. Tue, 18 Mar 2014Now that we're kinda-sorta-maybe-slowly thawing out from this horrible winter, automakers are moving away from the harsh extremes of winter testing and taking their new wares for laps around the infamous Nürburgring. What better way to kick off the sports car testing season than some fresh shots of the next-generation Audi R8 supercar?
Despite the slick coupe's shape not changing too much, details under that camouflage reveal styling elements that are more squared off and angular - similar to what Audi has done with its 2015 TT coupe. Don't be fooled by those square taillamp holes in the camo out back, either - look closely and you'll see a stylish LED lamp design.
Expect some 100 to 200 pounds to be shaved off the next R8's curb weight.

Wed, 11 Jun 2014One of the best ways of learning a new track, aside from driving it, is to hear someone that's intimately familiar with it give you a good walkthrough. That's just what you'll get here, as the winningest driver in 24 Hours of Le Mans history, Tom Kristensen, walks you through the Circuit de la Sarthe's high-speed, 8.5-mile strip of pavement.
Kristensen is dubbed over scenes of drivers from a Forza Motorsport 5 contest lapping the track at the wheel of an Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro, adding a bit of visual sense to the Danish drivers description of the track.
With the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans kicking off this weekend, this is just the sort of video you'll want to watch to get you in the mood. Take a look below, and then let us know what you think in Comments.
