I am the 2nd owner of this beautiful 2009 Audi S5 4.2 Coupe. The car is in outstanding shape and it has the lowest mileage of any black 2009-2010 6MT Audi S5 for sale across the nation! I purchased the vehicle in February, 2012. FULL DISCLOSURE HISTORY: --> Car has NEVER seen an accident, whether in my hands in or in the hands of the 1st owner. Clean title. Clean Carfax. A few issues have arisen over the years: in 2014 it got keyed across the passenger door and fender. I had it repaired and paint matched by a well reputed auto body shop. They did great work. And other than routine maintenance, the only mechanical issue it has had since leaving the factory was 0einvolved the clutch. the car had clutch assembly replaced when I first bought the car. Audi had some TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) pertaining to clutches of 2009 and 2010 6MT Audi S5's.... At the time, the clutch wasn't something that was presenting a problem but I decided to have it done anyway....as a preventative measure I guess.. Anyway, Santa Monica Audi performed the work and the car felt GLORIOUS when it was completed. I've driven a lot of fast cars....among them --> 2006 Ferrari 430 w/manual, 2014 Dodge Viper GTS in manual, even the 2015 Corvette Z06 w/ a 7-spd. I would not hesitate to look you in the eye and tell you this Audi has a better transmission than any of them. It has always been the smoothest, most buttery movement through the gearbox....I couldn't be happier with the transmission on the car. This vehicle is completely sound mechanically. Aesthetics you can gauge for yourself in the pics....but, in my opinion, the modifications currently on the car are tasteful and elevate the quality of an already awesome, award-winning design. The car comes stock except for the following custom modifications: - Audi S5 Embroidered Floormats- AWE Tuning Aluminum Driver Pedals- 20" Audi wheels all around (replacing the exact same style 19" wheels from the factory)- Eibach Springs - 1.0" drop - which gives it a more aggressive stance I am offering this car at a killer price because I like auto selling transactions to be quick and painless...

First official Audi R8 photo leaks

Thu, Feb 26 2015

The next-gen Audi R8 makes its grand debut in a just a few days at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. However, leaks aren't uncommon for such a highly anticipated model, and it appears that the first official shot of the future supercar is now online. Autoblog en Espanol claims this is the first leaked factory photo showing the new Audi R8 completely undisguised. The single image depicts the supercar from the front, and it looks a lot like both Audi's own official teaser and the previous blurry image from Instagram. Based on this picture, the German designers thickened the outline around the grille at the front and added vertical slats at each corner. They also removed the gentle curve in the headlights in favor of a completely angular look. While the side blades were one of the major styling features of the original, their appearance has been toned down by removing the vertical, contrasting strip running up the body. Though the exterior design seems to evolve the R8 slightly, there are some big changes for the powertrain. Audi is ditching the V8 for the latest model and opting for two tunes of the 5.2-liter V10. The standard version gets 540 horsepower, and the Plus pushes output up to 610 hp. The top trim can reportedly hit 60 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 205 mph. Although, there are already the rumors of other variants, including a turbo V6, coming later. Related Video:

2016 Audi A6 First Drive [w/video]

Wed, Jun 10 2015

The Audi A6 could be seen as a singular kind of sleeper. It sells in volumes that are one-half to one-third those of its German competition. The sedan doesn't command a conversation much less the imagination, its history bereft of iconic brand identifiers. Think of the way the E28 BMW 5 Series turned the segment into something to be proud of, or those double headlamps from the W210 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, or that other E from 1986 simply known as Der Hammer. There is currently no RS6 sedan in the US to draw halo attention to the clan. And it was the first in its segment to slip into a design lassitude such that you had to check the badge to make sure it wasn't a different Audi. However, I look at the A6 from the other side: it's an underappreciated gem. With the 3.0-liter supercharged V6, it's a thoroughly fun steer. It has more power and torque than the competition. I think it has the finest interior. It's probably my favorite sedan in the segment considering how many boxes it checks before you cross the bridge to things that begin with S, M, and AMG. But you have to get to know an Audi in order to comprehend what it possesses, and the "product improvement" rolled out for the 2016 A6 won't change that. I'll call these "blind spot updates," because someone needs to point out where they are, and even then you've got to work to see them. Nevertheless, they're there, in places like the wider grille, new headlights and taillights with revised LED DRL signatures, new bumpers, side sills, rockers, and trapezoidal tailpipe finishers. The interior and driver assistance systems get gussied-up. The interior and driver assistance systems get gussied-up, too. The base A6 2.0T can be had with driver aids now – Audi pre-sense comes standard, the night vision assistant will identify animals, and the blind spot monitor works with lane keep assist to give you even more warning before changing lanes. There are two new colors and new inlays, like the layered walnut on the tester I drove, which is an upper-tier luxury feature that's finally filtered downstream. The biggest interior rework comes via the MMI system, which gets the Nvidia Tegra 3 quadcore chip pushing graphics to a retractable, eight-inch touchscreen. The additional processing power allows for new features like expanded codec playback – you can now play uncompressed .flac files straight through the stereo.

Is Audi readying hardcore final edition R8?

Sun, 12 Oct 2014

The days may be numbered on the current Audi R8, but if our latest round of spy photos is any indication, Audi's first supercar is going to go out with a bang. This camo'd tester was spotted parked somewhere in Europe, and if doesn't at least belie a faster R8, it certainly indicates that a more aerodynamically intense model is coming.
The tall rear wing is the most obvious aerodynamic change. It's joined out back by a none-too-subtle diffuser and the cannon-like exhausts of the R8 V10 Plus, while the front and side of this particular R8 are home to new side sills and winglets on the lower front fascia.
We'll be keeping our ears to the ground for any more on what looks to be another variation of first-generation Audi supercar. Until then, let us know what you think this car may foreshadow. A new halo model? A gentleman racer? Have your say below.
