2004 Audi S4 Base Sedan 4-door 4.2l Brilliant Black 6spd Tiptronic on 2040-cars

Up for sale is a 2004 B6 Audi S4 with 6spd tiptronic auto transmission. It's got quattro all wheel drive system. It has 122k miles and I bought it off the 2nd owner. Exterior paint is Brilliant Black and interior is black leather with Recaro bucket seats. The car is by no means a pristine garage queen. The previous owner drove the front bumper into a parking spot curb so the bumper sides are slightly off place(shown in picture) and also there is a scuff on the rear right where it was backed into a fence(shown in picture). Also has a few minor dents here and there. As far as the minor knicks and scratches, I believe a good buff and wax will take care of most imperfections. Since it was a daily driver it has normal wear and tear but overall in great condition, you can not tell those imperfections standing from 10 feet away. Interior is pretty clean, no tears, rips, etc. Always used premium gas. It's got original miles and has never been in an accident. I have autocheck report if you're interested. All parts replaced are oem or better.

But it's a third car and is not getting used much. There is not another sedan out there that can compare to the B6 S4. It is truly a blast to drive with 340hp and the quattro system delivers phenomenal handling in any weather condition. It is a must have for any car enthusiast. Note: Listed locally for sale and have the right to remove listing anytime. Drives amazing however, with any used car, it is being sold as is with no warranties. Prefer selling to local buyers, however, if buyer is willing to set up his own shipping and taking care of most of the things, I will give whatever bit of assistance needed on my end. Preferred payment method is cash or bank of america transfer. Call or text for any questions 352-2I6-2869. |

Porsche, Audi team up for tech: autonomy, EVs, hybrids and more
Wed, Apr 5 2017Porsche and Audi have been working on a number of important technologies for future vehicles. The two luxury automakers, both part of the Volkswagen Group, have mostly appeared to guard the space between their brands despite some shared engines and a platform. While their goals may not always overlap – Porsche has shied away from fully autonomous driving, for instance – the two brands have decided they could move more quickly into their respective futures by putting their heads together. In that spirit, Audi and Porsche are partnering up for a "shared vehicle architecture strategy of the future." This collaboration will focus on future mobility, including the development electrification, digitization, and autonomous driving technology. And the teams have knowledge and resources to share with one another. Porsche is moving fast with electrification, adding more hybrid systems to its models and preparing to launch the ultra-fast-charging Mission E electric car. Audi has been pursuing autonomous driving, connected vehicle and V2X tech, and Shared Fleet programs. Combining the best and brightest of both companies should help accelerate R&D. Even if one or the other company doesn't put all of the co-developed technologies into its vehicles, they'll both be learning the lessons, and sharing resources should help keep costs in check. "We will cooperate wherever it makes sense," says Porsche Board of Management Chairman Oliver Blume. "But we will also be very careful to maintain the differentiation between our brands. A Porsche is always a Porsche, and that will remain so in the future." Detail are still scarce, but Audi and Porsche will pin down a more a more specific sharing strategy as they develop their plan through 2025. While the cars continue to look and drive differently, expect Porsche and Audi to share more components and digital capabilities moving forward. Related Video:

Car companies may need to start curbing model proliferation
Mon, 17 Nov 2014Looking at the current automotive landscape, especially from German makers, you quickly get the impression that less definitely isn't more. BMW alone offers its 3 Series platform in practically every segment possible, including the regular sedan and 4 Series Gran Coupe, which would seem to be direct competitors. Porsche might be the winner, though, with 20 different variants of the 911 listed for sale on its US website. However, some of this model madness might be reaching an end as companies begin cutting back spending or shifting money to other priorities.
According to Yahoo Finance, the offerings from the German automakers are up 25 percent over the past three years to over 200 models in Europe. The peak is expected to come around 2018 at 230 separate vehicles, according to consulting company PwC.
Amazingly, BMW, which is among the poster children for this model explosion, might be changing its tune. "I'm sure there will be points in the future where we look at certain cars and say, 'Maybe we need to think differently now,'" said head of sales Ian Robertson in an interview, according to Yahoo Finance. The statement certainly sounds shocking coming from a company rumored to have 23 front-wheel-drive vehicles all using a single platform on the way.
