2008 Audi Rs4 4.2l V8 - Custom Gmg Exhaust - Carbon Fiber Hood on 2040-cars
Beaverton, Oregon, United States
|
This car has been my pride and joy for almost 4 years. I purchased it (through a dealer) from a former Audi-executive who was the original owner. It has a Custom GMG Exhaust that sounds incredible, and a paint-matched Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber Hood. It's an absolute blast.
The car is in excellent condition, and just had it's 105,000 mile maintenance performed from a local Audi dealer. The majority of the mileage is highway travel. The brakes and tires (Michelin Pilot Super Sport) are in great condition. 6 speed manual transmission. 6 CD Changer in the glove box and plays MP3's via removable SD cards. Includes stock front bumper panel without license plate (if you are lucky enough to live in a state that doesn't require them). I had to purchase one with a license plate mount. Front and rear heated seats. |

Audi may add plug-in hybrid A6, A8 and Q7 to range [w/poll]
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Audi could be getting even more diverse with its powertrains for the A6, A8 and Q7, moving beyond offering just gas- and diesel-powered models and adding plug-in hybrid variants of the three luxury vehicles. The report comes from Indian Autos Blog, which spoke to Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Audi's research and design chief, who confirmed the PHVs.
The next-generation Q7, due in 2015, will be the pioneer for the full-size PHV movement from Audi, although the A3 Sportback E-Tron (shown above) will precede it. The move toward plug-ins by Audi is a big step, as the German marque has stayed quite firmly in the diesel camp, outside of its racing efforts. It's developed a few E-Tron cars over the years, including a version based on the R8, although it wasn't until recently that production of the electric sports car became serious again.
It's believed that this hesitance to really dive into the PHV market is why Audi sacked former research and design boss Wolfgan Dürheimer, with IAB speculating that his approach was too conservative.
2013 Audi RS5 [w/video]
Wed, 01 May 2013Enjoying The Romance, Not Yet Convinced About A Commitment
I imagine spending time with a sexy sports coupe is similar to a first date with a supermodel. Before she arrives, there's a buildup of excitement mixed with nervous anticipation. Even though the background work is done, there are many concerns and unanswered questions about how the two of you will get along. What about compatibility, engagement and dynamics?
The big day arrives, and you answer the door to find her waiting in the driveway wearing a form-fitting Misano Red Pearl dress and sleek Anthracite stilettos. As you shake your head in disbelief, you swear she just winked her... ah... xenon headlight at you.
Xcar flogs the 2016 Audi RS3
Thu, Jun 18 2015In its latest video, Xcar reckons that just as hypercars from brands like Pagani and Koenigsegg are taking supercars to a new level, the hyper hatch is now supplanting the hot hatch. Roughly defined as three- and five-door models making well in excess 300 horsepower, the reviewer holds up the new Audi RS3 as the poster child for this high-speed revolution that brings huge performance in a quite useful package. With 362 hp and 343 pound-feet of torque from its 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the RS3 certainly doesn't lack for performance. Audi claims that it can get to 62 miles per hour in 4.3 seconds and to a top speed of 174 miles per hour. Xcar portrays that power as quite livable, though. Apparently, this hyper hatch is made less for top performance at the track, than being sublime on the road. It seems that this hyper hatch isn't destined for these shores, though. Audi isn't bringing the five-door RS3 to the US, but a version in the body of the A3 sedan is highly rumored. If it's as wonderful as Xcar portrays the five-door, then this might be one to look forward to.
