I have a 2001 Audi A8 L with factory 18 inch wheels. I have the original window sticker over 70k new, owners manual, navigation discs, and one key. I purchased another key that I will include but it needs to be cut and programmed. I have owned the car for 2 years and spent over 5k in maintenance and have all the records of work completed. All options function properly except for two. The drivers head rest motor activates but the headrest does not move. There is a youtube video on how to fix this problem. Also the passenger side rear window works but does not go down or up with one touch. Since it continued to work I never bothered looking in it.

There are no lights in the dash, motor and transmission function properly with no leaks. The timing belt was done at 109k and the transmission has been serviced at 65k and 122k. Other major items that have been replaced by me are the fuel pump, oil cooler lines, alternator, battery, pads and rotors, tires, front half shafts, xenon headlamps, spark plugs, crank sensor, rear seal on transmission, and the lower control arms. Also the previous owner lived in a wooded area so all the drains have been cleaned for the moonroof and climate control system. The moonroof functions properly with no leaks. If I missed something it's in the service record book.

Last year I took a job that requires a 60 miles commute so instead of racking up the miles the car sits and I drive it on the weekends. At this point I'm ready to sell it and let someone else enjoy it. The car does not need any work and looks great. I just changed the oil and filter recently and will include another oil filter and air filter plus a basic Audi scan tool. One thing I have learned owning this vehicle the money is in maintenance and not the initial purchase price. McLaren 650S Spider wrecked in multi-vehicle crash in LA

A multi-vehicle crash in Los Angeles left a $280,000- McLaren 650S Spider mangled and two hospitalized, reports KTLA5. The Los Angeles Police Department suspects street racing caused the incident. The crash occurred just outside of Hale Charter Academy in Woodlawn Hills on Tuesday night. According to eyewitness statements, the 650S Spider was traveling at a high rate of speed in a race against a black Dodge Charger or Challenger before colliding with an Audi (possibly an A6), leaving the Audi heavily damaged. The Dodge fled the scene before police arrived. Audi Q8 E-Tron could have 370-mile range

Audi technical boss Ulrich Hackenberg has a huge job ahead of him if he's going to add more electrified models his employer's portfolio. Currently, the German company's electrified offerings amount to just the Q5 Hybrid in the US and the A3 E-Tron in Europe, but British auto mag Autocar is claiming that Hackenberg wants to add a Tesla Model X-rivaling electric version of the company's long-rumored Q8 utility vehicle to the plans. That E-Tron model, said to be a high-riding crossover with coupe-like lines, is expected to be Ingolstadt's CUV flagship, positioned just above the Q7 (pictured above).
Autocar further maintains that Q8 E-Tron will borrow its front- and rear-mounted electric motors (good for around 375 horsepower) from the recently revived R8 E-Tron, and the model could be ready as soon as 2017. This sporty CUV is expected to have a much greater range than the two-door electric sports car, however. Figure on about 370 miles thanks to room for extra batteries.
The still-not-confirmed Q8 range is expected to be offered with gasoline, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains, and will ride on the same platform as the Q7, albeit fitted with sleeker styling. Like all of Audi's upper-end offerings, it will make extensive use of aluminum for the body and chassis to keep weight down.
