2006 Audi A4 2.0T S-Line 6-Speed Manual Transmission 159,500 miles ENGINE AND CLUTCH BOTH REPLACED BY AUDI AT 129,600 MILES!! (Paperwork included) Black Leather Interior This car has it all, and is an absolute blast to drive. DRIVETRAIN: Quattro AWD 6-Speed Manual Gearbox S-Line Sport Suspension 2.0L Turbocharged Engine & Clutch replaced at 129,600 by Audi (have paperwork) In-Tank Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter replaced at 130,000 by Audi (have paperwork) Front Wheel-Bearings replaced at 141,000 miles by Audi (have paperwork) All oil changes performed regularly by Audi (paperwork included) Front Wheel Hubs replaced at 150,000 miles by Audi (have paperwork) engine notes: There is an issue with the fuel tank since I bought the car, where the gauge reads 1/4 tank too high, and when fueling the car, the nozzle clicks off every once in a while. Audi told me it was because of a charcoal filter in the fuel tank. It doesn't affect how the car runs, it's just annoying to have to use the trip meter to keep track of how much gas I have. EXTERIOR: HID Headlights S-Line Grille, badges, trim, and trunk-lid (much cooler looking than the typical rounded trunk lid) 18" S4 Wheels Dunlop "Fierce Instinct" Tires with a ton of tread left The car has many small dents, scratches (some can be buffed out, others can't) especially on the hood, and near the back of the car (Due to spending most of it's life in NYC). With a little touching up, this car can be a real looker, and it still cleans up very nicely. (See pics) exterior note: The passenger headlight was replaced at some point, and there's always been a headlight warning light on the dashboard. (See pic) It doesn't beep..it's just annoying. INTERIOR: All the bells and whistles.. S-Line steering wheel with radio controls. Power-Folding side mirrors Self-Dimming Rear View Mirror with Compass HomeLink Audi Navigation Plus Radio/Nav System (Most Current Map Software Installed) AM/FM/SIRIUS 6-CD Changer 2 SD Card Slots for MP3 Playback Aux-In plug Stainless steel 'S-Line' Door Sill Plates Heated front AND rear seats. First-Aid Kit All leather interior in EXCELLENT shape EXCEPT for the driver's side bolster is very worn. Any decent upholstery shop could repair this quickly. Owner's manuals and original window sticker is included. interior note: The glovebox door hinge is broken. When closed, it won't pop open or anything, but it falls out when opened. (Around $200 on eBay for a new glovebox door). **The driver's side power window seems to catch on something, and will probably need a new regulator soon. This car has a lot of pep...it turns heads, and for the price, you're getting a ton of luxury and a supremely-engineered car (Built in Ingolstadt, Germany). I set the price so low due to the small issues I mentioned (most of which are just superficial and annoying) This car is being sold 'as-is'. There is no warranty. Buyer is responsible for inspection of the vehicle before purchase. Buyer is also responsible for any shipping required, though I will assist with as much as I can. Don't miss out, and good luck bidding! |

The Audi R8 e-tron is dead with less than 100 built
Wed, Oct 12 2016According to a report from Car and Driver, the Audi R8 e-tron is dead (again!) after fewer than 100 examples of the all-electric model were built. This is an anticlimactic end to what could be termed an e-saga, with enough twists and turns to make a Hollywood scriptwriter sit up and start pecking out a screenplay. But here's the important number to keep in mind: 100. That's the production number the R8 e-tron failed to reach. The final tally is less than that, an Audi rep told Car and Driver. And what few were built were sold furtively, and only in Europe, in a strange back-channel in which dealers referred potential buyers right to Audi HQ, says the report. All of these transactions happened without the benefit of an online configurator or any published materials, we understand. That doesn't sound like a recipe for wild success – and neither did the $1,000,000+ pricetag. And this is just the latest stumbling block for the R8 e-tron, which was cancelled the first time back in 2012 when it was still based on the sinister, classic shape of the first-generation R8. If you recall, there was some confusion about the limited run of those first-generation cars, which were initially tipped to be sold to the public. In a strange move, Audi walked that back and held onto the cars for "internal purposes." So it was, until 2015, when we saw the second-generation R8 e-tron in Geneva. Audi promised it'd go on sale in 2015 "upon customer request," which was some foreshadowing to the unusual dealership referral sales model we discussed above. Nonetheless, it seemed like it would be a supremely interesting electric sportscar, with 456 horsepower, 679 pound-feet of torque, a 0-62 mph time of 3.9 seconds, and a range of up to 280 miles. Alas, except for the fewer than 100 European owners who managed to take delivery before Audi yanked the cord, the R8 e-tron's emissionless charms will go unappreciated. We're hoping to get more specific confirmation from Audi about the nature of the cancellation and the exact number produced; until then, stay tuned. Related Video:
Audi rumored to ditch Le Mans, DTM for F1
Sun, 26 Oct 2014If you've been scratching your head wondering how - between Audi and Porsche - the Volkswagen Group could possibly support two rival top-tier LMP1 programs at Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship, but stay out of Formula One entirely, you're not alone. In fact, Porsche was said to have been eying an F1 entry if Audi had internally blocked aspirations to return to Le Mans. But according to the latest rumors, it's Audi that's now preparing to shift away from endurance racing and onto the grand prix circuit.
Word has it that, following internal pressures from within the VW Group, Audi is finally gearing up for a full assault on F1. It's said to be developing a new six-cylinder turbo hybrid power unit - potentially at its new racing headquarters in Neuburg - and, in an expanded partnership with Red Bull, either take Renault's and Infiniti's places with the Red Bull Racing team or take over the Toro Rosso team entirely.
Although Ingolstadt has not campaigned in grand prix racing since the pre-war days of the Silver Arrows, it was said to have been the impetus for the FIA's push a couple of years ago for new four-cylinder engine regulations until Audi bailed on the idea altogether and F1 went for six-cylinder engines instead.
Audi recalls 850,000 A4 models globally for airbags that won't deploy
Thu, 23 Oct 2014Audi has announced that it will be recalling 850,000 A4 sedans, wagons and Allroad models across the globe due to a software problem that could prevent the front airbags from deploying. All 850,000 vehicles were built after 2012.
Audi has already adjusted production of new A4s to eliminate the software glitch. Meanwhile, the German manufacturer was quick to emphasize that Takata did not manufacture the affected airbags.
According to Reuters, 250,000 of the affected A4s were built for the Chinese market, while another 150,000 were sold in Germany. Audi didn't provide a breakdown beyond those two countries, although it'd be a surprise if there weren't at least some affected airbags in the US market.
