Very clean 2003 Audi A4 convertible, dark Blue exterior with Tan Leather interior, 1.8 Liter 4 cylinder Turbo with Automatic/Tiptronic transmission, very economical on gas! Power everything: mirrors, windows, locks, seats, CD/cassette, full size spare tire, comes with windscreen when top is down. 90% on matching Michelin Pilot tires. Clear Texas Title in Hand. Bought this project car for my son through my dealer friend but I think it's more complicated that I thought. So if you're into Audi's, this is your chance for a steal. It has a bad transmission, sometimes it doesn't shift on Drive but it works well on tiptronic. It appears like the transmission has recently been rebuilt because of the silicon that are visible on the gaps. But according to the mechanic that consulted, it could be the valve body. You can still drive the car anywhere in the united states using the tiptronic mode. So if you buy it, you can drive it home. You can find transmissions from the junkyard, car-part or ebay. The engine is good, very strong. If you need additional information about the car, you can call Audi dealerships and just give them the VIN number. The other problem is the convertible top doesn't open or close, could be the switch, fuse, hydraulic motor or low on fluid. the rear glass has peeled off the convertible top, so it needs to be re-glued back or you can replace the whole top with the glass from ebay for $499. This car is worth 9k to 10k when done. I has a current texas inspection till October 2013, texas registration till 7/2014. I paid 5,185 for it as shown on the receipt included plus auction fee, towing, tax, title and registration, totaling to more than 5,500. Next-gen Audi Q7 to debut in Detroit

Audi's public relations team must really be getting fed up with research and design boss Ulrich Hackenberg. Aside from basically confirming that the next Audi R8 will share its bones with the Lamborghini Huracán and noting that it may take advantage of the Asterion Concept's hybrid powertrain technology, he's now let slip that the second-generation Q7 will arrive in January at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
"If you make a trip to Detroit, you'll see it," Hackenberg reportedly told Indian Autos Blog during Paris Motor Show festivities.
That's a bombshell, particularly as we've heard plenty about its potential powertrain technologies, including spy shots of diesel-powered models, plug-in-hybrids, sporty SQ7s and electric turbochargers, but there's been absolutely nothing concrete about when and where the car would debut.

IIHS bestows 2015 Audi A3 with Top Safety Pick+ [w/video]

There's some good news for Audi today, as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has named the all-new A3 one of its Top Safety Pick+, the institute's highest award for safety.
While there are no shortage of cars that can handle the standard IIHS trial, the tough small overlap test needed to earn TSP+ has flummoxed more than a few vehicles from prestigious, safety minded manufacturers. In the A3's case, though, it handled the small-overlap tests well.
According to the IIHS, there wasn't much intrusion into the cabin from the impact, which simulates a 40-mile-per-hour impact on 25 percent of a car's front end. The crash test dummy was held in place, with just a low risk of injuries. You can view the crash test video below, as well as read a brief press release from the IIHS.
