This vehicle has been great. Runs perfect and is amazing in the snow. All wheel drive and turbo are in great shape. I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. Has power windows, power steering, power mirrors, power door locks, power sunroof. Leather seats (slight tears on the drivers side), tinted windows, ice cold A/C, factory installed alarm system with auto door locks. I had a compression test done in April and all cylinders had great compression. Always did regular interval oil changes. Garage kept. The color is a very dark metallic gray. Almost looks black until you park it next to a true black car. Car drives incredibly smooth and straight. Alignment is in perfect working order and brakes straight as well. Why am I selling it, you ask? My wife bought a new car and I get her hand-me-down so this makes the Audi the 3rd car. I wish I didn't have to sell it but no longer have room in the garage. Has a Bose sound system with cassette tape and 6 disk changer in the trunk. Kelley Blue book has the car valued at $2500 and NADA has the value at $3400. |

2014 Audi S1 is a little hatch hiding huge power [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The Audi S1 takes the Four Rings' high performance brand to its smallest model yet. Offered in three- and five-door forms (pictured above), the S1 is a subcompact hot hatch that seems specially suited for Europe's dense cities and tight roads.
The S1 follows the rest of the Audi S vehicle lineup with a very understated design. It maintains the looks of the standard car, but the larger air dam, 17-inch wheels and side sills tells viewers that something mean is lurking under the surface as well. It packs the Volkswagen Group's ubiquitous 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder, tuned here to produce 228 horsepower and 279 pound-feet with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive, and it is enough to get it to 62 miles per hour in less than six seconds for either body style and to a top speed of 155 mph. Handling is aided by a more sophisticated four-link independent suspension to replace the standard A1's torsion beam setup.
They come in just two colors for now - Vegas Yellow or Sepang Blue - and are hitting European roads later this spring. UK prices start at £24,900 ($41,518) for the three-door and £25,630 ($42,735) for the five-door.
Audi UK in hot water over dealer safety claims
Wed, 14 May 2014Car salesmen don't exactly have a reputation for being in the most truthful profession, and it appears that several Audi showrooms in the UK are playing into that stereotype. A BBC investigation found that multiple dealers told buyers that the company's models scored well in Euro NCAP crash tests. No big deal, right? The problem was that the vehicles were never actually evaluated.
The report began after an R8 buyer sent in a tip that his UK dealer claimed the sports car had received top Euro NCAP scores. However, it has never been tested by the organization. The BBC called 10 dealers inquiring about the A5 (pictured above), which also wasn't assessed. Nine said the coupe had been checked out, and six claimed it had a five-star rating - the best available.
Euro NCAP is funded by governments and motoring bodies, like the ADAC in Germany and the FIA. According to its website, the organization selects some of the most popular new models each year to crash test, and, the BBC claims, automakers can also pay to evaluate their cars. The last Audi tested was the A3 in 2012. The A6, Q3, A1, A4 and Q5 have also been tested since 2009, and they all received five-star ratings. However, the A5, A7, A8 and R8 have not been tested.
