WORK I HAVE HAD DONE March 24, 2012 - $1790.61 - 102,440
Miles October 12, 2012 - $1200.00 - Installed Jensen In-Dash Slide Out 10” Display Touchscreen CD/Radio/DVD Player/GPS/Satellite Radio/Backup Camera/Rear Proximity Sensor/Bluetooth Hands Free Phone System
- Set Of 4 Falken Tires - 225/45R17 DISCLOSURES - During the most recent service it was noted:
- The driver
information screen has several lines that work intermittently. The upper section (systems check) and lower
section (miles to empty, mpg, etc) display fine. The center section which shows outside
temperature, etc. doesn't always display.
There is a button to turn it off completely which I usually do. This is a common problem and is easily
replaced. - The key
fob needs to be reprogrammed so until then the keyless entry doesn’t work. You can open and close the windows by using
the key in the door anyhow. I don’t find
this to be a nuisance at all. - The glove
box latch broke off. It is on in the
pictures because I super glued it on.
The glove box is large enough for the owner’s manual only and I placed
that in the compartment behind the driver’s seat. The latch can be easily taken off and the
glove box is functional, it just looks bad without it. It is a ridiculously expensive part to
replace. - The top
leaked (before I had it replaced) which is why I needed to replace the central
locking unit. Because of paranoia I
always keep the car covered or garaged when it rains heavily for extended
periods of time. It’s a fairly cheap
cover but it keeps the car clean and dry, I will include it if interested. - The 6 Disc
CD Changer has been disconnected to accommodate the Jensen In-Dash Slide Out 10”
Display Touchscreen CD/Radio/DVD Player/GPS/Satellite Radio/Backup Camera/Rear
Proximity Sensor/Bluetooth Hands Free Phone System. WARRANTY This vehicle

Audi considering turbo option for longer, wider Hurac?n-based R8
Mon, 10 Mar 2014The debut of the Lamborghini Huracán was (and remains) big news in and of itself, but equally as exciting is the imminent arrival of the Audi R8, which the Huracán presages. While the two will share a common architecture, don't expect that new R8 will simply be a cheaper version of the Huracán (like the current one arguably is to the Gallardo).
For one, the next R8 will be larger than the Huracán. According to emerging intelligence, Audi will make its sports car both longer and wider than the Lamborghini version. It'll also share the new Lambo's innovative carbon-fiber structure that will replace both the firewall and central tunnel. But to power it all, Audi will get more creative.
The next R8 will, like the current model and like the Huracán, offer a V10 engine at the top of the range. It will also offer the same 4.2-liter V8 as the outgoing model. But that won't be the end of the matter. Word has it that Audi is also working on a smaller, turbocharged engine to offer in certain markets that mandate smaller-capacity engines.
Volkswagen may 'carve out' Lamborghini to list on the stock exchange
Thu, Oct 1 2020FRANKFURT — Volkswagen is drawing up plans to set up Lamborghini as a more independent unit, and is discussing long-term supply deals that could make it easier to list it on the stock exchange, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. "Volkswagen is in the process of carving out Lamborghini, and to organize future supply and technology transfer deals," one of the sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. The Italian sportscar brand, which is currently a division of Audi, could be partially listed, with Volkswagen retaining a controlling stake, the first person familiar with the talks said. There is no formal decision to divest Lamborghini, a second source said, adding that the timetable of any deal remained unclear. "This is a first step which gives VW the option to list the unit further down the line," the second source told Reuters. A third source familiar with the discussions said the future of Bugatti, Lamborghini and Ducati was discussed during a supervisory board meeting last Friday. The possibilities for how to electrify the Lamborghini and Bugatti brands through partnerships and investors was discussed, the third source said. Bankers and potential cornerstone investors in an IPO have been approached by the carmaker, the sources said. Volkswagen declined to comment. Volkswagen Group's Chief Executive Herbert Diess on Wednesday said the carmaker will announce "important steps" about the company's future before the close of the year. Volkswagen is reviewing what role its high-performance brands Lamborghini, Bugatti and Ducati will play within the multi-brand carmaker as part of broader quest for more economies of scale, senior executives told Reuters. A global clampdown on combustion-engined vehicles has forced carmakers to accelerate development of low-emission technology for mainstream models, leaving Volkswagen managers struggling to find resources to electrify low volume sportscar models. 2014 Audi SQ5 ditches diesel, still packs a punch
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Over in Europe-land, the Audi SQ5 is a diesel-powered monster capable of sending a whopping 479 pound-feet of torque to its wheels. Naturally, this beast isn't coming to the States, but that doesn't mean we're missing out on the whole SQ5 experience altogether. At the Detroit Auto Show this week, Audi is debuting a new gasoline-powered version of the hot crossover, and while it's not quite the oil-burning dreamboat we've lusted after from afar, we certainly wouldn't kick it out of bed.
Instead of a diesel, we get a boosted version of Audi's supercharged 3.0-liter V6, good for 354 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. Running through an eight-speed automatic transmission, the SQ5 will reportedly be able to fire off 0-60 times in the low-five-second range and will top out at an electronically limited 155 miles per hour. Suspension upgrades are on hand to improve road-going prowess, but also lower the Q5's stance a bit, too.
Because this is an S model, there are plenty of visual upgrades on hand, including a more aggressive front fascia, 20-inch wheels and some pretty new colors including Estoril Blue and Panther Black. Interior upgrades like Alcantara trim and aluminum brightwork add to some sportiness from the cockpit view, as well.
