DESCRIPTION:

For Sale is my beautiful 2007 Aston Martin DB9 with factory Aston Martin CPO Warranty.  This DB9 has undergone a rigorous 4 hour inspection in order to be considered certified by Aston Martin.  This means you can actually enjoy driving the car instead of worrying about potential costly breakdowns.  This vehicle is fully loaded with every factory option including:
-Aluminum front grille
-Sports package (19" wheels, sport tuned suspension, 1" lowered ride height)
-Front skid plate (prevents damage to front fascia)
-Ventilated slotted front and rear brake rotors
-6 piston front and 4 piston red brake calipers
-Upgraded Lynn sound system with sub woofer
-"Clear skin" over rockers and rear quarter panels to protect against chips and scratches
-Contrast black/red leather interior
-Black piano wood accents
-Parking sensors
-Heated seats
-Navigation
-Bluetooth

This DB9 is also extremely rare as it comes with a 6 speed manuel transmission.  Less than 5% of all DB9's EVER made have the optional 6 speed manuel.  In my opinion, you cannot drive this car unless it's manuel, an automatic transmission simply does not do this car justice.

Additionally, this DB9 comes with full Aston Martin service history, and at this point does NOT require any maintenance for at least another year or 10k miles (whichever comes first).
-Oil and Filter service performed 6/2014
-Tires were changed 6,600 miles ago
-Brakes were changed 1,800 miles ago

Basically, this DB9 is ready to be a daily driver or can be parked in your living room as a work of art because it's in pristine showroom condition. Although I mostly drive the car on weekends, I have driven it several times to work from NJ to Manhattan where the roads differ greatly.  The DB9 feels comfortable in any setting and road surface.  The ride is never too stiff and has just enough modern creature comforts that you would never expect from a car that's nearly 7 years old or rather young!

I am selling the car simply because I need the money to fund a new business, additionally, as can be seen from the miles, I just have not had time to use the car as much as I hoped I would.  With that being said, I am not desperate to sell the car, however, I am negotiable on the price.  Similar DB9's that are NOT fully loaded, do NOT have the rare 6 speed manuel transmission, and certainly do NOT have the CPO Aston Martin Warranty have sold for my current asking price.  Hopefully, this car can go to a home that will love and cherish it as much as I have.

If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to see and drive the car please send me a message.  You MUST know how to drive a manuel if you would like to test drive the car!

Aston Martin DB11 V8 loses four cylinders but none of its grace

Wed, Jun 28 2017

We love the Aston Martin DB11. Few vehicles combine speed, luxury, and comfort as well as that beautiful British coupe. That said, it's not the most efficient or affordable GT in the world, but Aston Martin is planning to change that. Starting this year, the company will offer the DB11 a twin-turbocharged V8 sourced from the mad Germans at Mercedes-AMG. We've known about the engine partnership for a while now, though we assumed the first Aston Martin to use a Mercedes-AMG V8 would be the next-generation V8 Vantage. At first, sticking a V8 under the hood might seem like an odd choice, but the DB series only recently started using V12s. Historically, the car has packed powerful inline-six engines. Offering two engines will allow the company to sell a lower-cost model and presumably boost sales. That means changes are strictly mechanical in nature. The engine is the now-common 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V8. Output is 503 horsepower and 498 pound-feet of torque. That's down 97 horsepower and 18 pound-feet of torque from the 5.2-liter V12. In the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, the 4.0-liter V8 makes equal horsepower and 18 more pound-feet of torque. Aston Martin says that the partnership with Mercedes-AMG allows the company to tailor the engine for Aston Martins. This means a new ECU with new engine and throttle mapping. Losing four cylinders changes the character of the car a bit. The DB11 V8 is a not-insubstantial 254 pounds lighter than the V12. Since most of the weight savings comes from behind the front wheels, Aston Martin says the V8 model is more agile than the V12 model. Engineers have adjusted the suspension bushing, geometry, anti-roll bars, springs, dampers, and stability control to account for the weight savings. The DB11 V8's diet helps offset the lower power output. As such, the 4.0-second 0-62 sprint is just 0.1 seconds off the V12. Top speed is down 13 mph to a still extralegal speed of 187 mph. We don't have fuel economy ratings for the US, but expect an improvement from the V12's current rating. The V8 will be available with all of the same equipment and trims as the V12, with just a few visual changes to distinguish the two models. The V8 gets unique wheels, darker headlight surroundings, and just two vents on the hood, available in either black or titanium. The DB11 V8 goes on sale in the US later this year. At $198,995, it undercuts the V12 model by $17,500.

800-hp Aston Martin Vulcan will live long and prosper... on the track

Tue, Mar 3 2015

The Aston Martin Vulcan might by one of the most beautiful creations to ever emerge from the British sports car company. Unfortunately, its status as a track-only toy limited to 24 units makes seeing one on the road practically impossible. That's a shame, too, because nothing would wake up an early morning commute better than seeing jets of flame shoot out of the side of this coupe. For the Vulcan, Aston Martin takes a 7.0-liter version of its tried and true V12 and promises to extract over 800 horsepower from it. The engine is hooked up to a six-speed sequential gearbox, and the car features all of the other necessities for a full-bore track car too. The pushrod suspension, anti-lock carbon-ceramic brakes and traction control are all fully adjustable to create the perfect balance for any circuit. Underneath, there's a carbon fiber monocoque, and the body panels are also made from the lightweight material. While the mechanicals are everything a driver could want on the track, the design is just as attractive. The styling takes the taut lines from Aston Martins of the last decade and sharpens everything to look futuristic. The pointed, orange filaments making up the taillights are an especially cool touch. The brand promises to reinterpret this look for future models, so we might still see inspiration of it on the road. Give it a thorough look in our live gallery above from the floor at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Related Video:

Aston Martin previews a bespoilered Vantage; could it be a new AMR?

Thu, Mar 18 2021

Aston Martin has teased a new sports car from its official Twitter account. The image shows the car's silhouette with a big green and lime swoosh above it. The car appears to be a Vantage variant, with the addition of a rear spoiler and Y-spoke wheels. It's also finished in the same Aston Martin Racing Green as its 2021 Formula One race car livery. The spoiler and colors evoke the new Vantage safety car that made its debut over the weekend at the pre-season test in Bahrain. That car features an AMRG paint job with a Lime Essence pinstripe along the front air splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser. It's also equipped with a rear wing not found on standard Vantages. Like the car in the shadowy teaser, it also wore the optional vaned grille as opposed to the standard mesh. Could Aston Martin be taking a page from the General Motors playbook and making a pace car edition Vantage? That would be uncharacteristic of the British marque, so perhaps a new Vantage AMR is more likely. The previous AMR was limited to 200 units and, despite having the same power as regular Vantages, made waves for letting you row your own gears with a seven-speed manual. Since then the stick shift has been made standard for the Vantage, but the AMR boasted many other features that set it apart — carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber trim, forged wheels, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and 200 fewer pounds of curb weight. On the other hand, the F1 pace car's menu of modifications seems like it could easily form the basis for a new AMR. The Vantage safety car increased output of its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 by 25 horsepower to 528. The peak torque of 505 lb-ft was unchanged, but Aston Martin claims it could be sustained for longer. Additionally, the transmission was strengthened, the chassis stiffened with underbody bracing, and modifications were made to suspension, steering and dampers. It's not clear whether the pace car's bespoke splitter is on the teaser car. Aston Martin gave no information to accompany the teaser, so we'll just have to wait until March 22, when the car is scheduled for a full reveal.
