I'm selling my 1987 Alfa Quad. If you're looking at this, you know what it is, so I don't have to get into it. Car runs and drives perfect. Smogged this past weekend. Passed with flying colors. Car sat for many years when it belonged to previous owner. Lucky for me, that only put the car at 71,500 miles! I bought the car as a non-runner. Recent work includes, clutch flex hose, clutch slave cylinder, "Lifetime guaranteed" clutch pivot shaft replacement, ignition wires, plugs, mobil 1 oil, Ate blue brake fluid in the clutch system, new gas door cable. Just averaged 28 mpg on a trip to Palm Springs.
The car does have a couple quirks, naturally, it is an Alfa. The passenger window is intermittent. Of course, with a tap on the door, it will work. The passenger door card needs a few retaining clips. The previous owner had a respray done on the car at some point. Whoever did it didn't do a color or wet sand. There are some clear coat drip marks that need to be taken care of. Also, due to the car sitting for so long, the ground effects on the side have pulled off the car. I bought the proper 3M double sided tape to hold it on, just haven't gotten around to cleaning and installing it. The tape comes with the car. The antenna needs to be replaced. It likely needs a new cloth top. I have yet to remove the hardtop. Gas gauge doesn't give a level, however the light comes on when gas is low.
The car obviously comes with the factory hard top (there are two minor chips in the paint) otherwise it's perfect. This car also has the black leather tonneau cover that buttons down once the convertible top is down. It is in perfect shape with the Alfa red stitching.
Original owners manual, two sets of keys, car disc CD with repair manual, Clean title. Buying a home forces sale, but I'm going to keep my Milano Verde!
The seats are the best part of the car. Original seats in almost perfect condition. There are two small holes next to the driver's seat folding lever. (can be seen in pics) I'm sure it can be repaired cheap. Seats/tonneau cover have been treated with Leatherique conditioner.
Local individuals can contact me for any additional information or to setup a time to see/drive the car. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if vehicle sells.
If you'd like any specific photographs, please let me know and I'll be happy to take them.

Alfa CEO says 4C can manage more power
Mon, May 5 2014With 240 horsepower from a 1.75-liter engine, the Alfa Romeo 4C does a lot with very little. But there's always room for improvement, says the company's CEO. Speaking with Automotive News, Alfa Romeo chief Harald Wester indicated that the historic Italian auto marque could squeeze more out of the 4C's already high-strung engine. "We are only at 134 horsepower per liter," said Wester, "so there is space" for it to produce yet more power. To accommodate the extra muscle, Wester says, the Alfa would also need bigger brakes, but the chassis may already be as stiff as it needs to be. Considering that Mercedes gets 355 horsepower out of the 2.0-liter turbo four in the A45, CLA45 and GLA45 AMG (for a specific output of over 177 hp per liter), Wester may be right, opening the door for a 300hp version with a 0-60 time of around four seconds flat. And his saying so more than subtly suggests the possibility of a more powerful 4C becoming a reality. But then the prospect of shoehorning a bigger engine into the same chassis to make a new Maserati GranSport - another prospect which Wester (also CEO of Maserati) suggested earlier in the 4C's development - never came to pass, largely due to engineering roadblocks. Maserati Grecale and Alfa Romeo Tonale delayed
Mon, Oct 18 2021MILAN — Maserati on Monday delayed the launch of its new Grecale SUV until the spring of 2022 from November this year due to a global chip shortage. The announcement by the luxury brand, part of Stellantis, comes as a shortage of semiconductors forces automakers around the world to slow or suspend production. Maserati said its decision stemmed from ongoing disruptions in the supply of parts. "In particular, due to a scarcity of semiconductors, production volumes would not adequately meet expected global demand," Maserati said in a statement. A global premiere for the Grecale, which will be produced in Cassino in central Italy, was initially scheduled for Nov. 16. Stellantis this month also confirmed it would present the Tonale, the new Alfa Romeo SUV, next March after it had been expected at the end of this year. Stellantis, formed this year though the merger of Fiat Chrysler and France's PSA, has halted production at several plants, including in Europe and Canada, due to the chip shortage. It has forecast it will produce 1.4 million fewer vehicles this year. The FIM-CISL union has said the impact of a semiconductor shortage on Stellantis' Italian production this year will be worse and longer-lasting than the damage to output caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario gets even more power
Thu, Apr 13 2023Alfa Romeo is celebrating its Quadrifoglio emblem's 100th birthday by rolling out limited-edition variants of the Giulia and the Stelvio. The commemorative cars receive a more powerful twin-turbocharged V6, edition-specific visual accents, and carbon fiber interior trim. The green Quadrifoglio (which means "four-leaf clover" in Italian) first appeared on a straight-six-powered RL race car at the 1923 edition of the Targa Florio, a grueling road race that was held in Sicily. Legend has it that pilot Ugo Sivocci had the emblem painted on his car for good luck. He won, and the Quadrifoglio quickly began appearing on Alfa Romeo's race cars before showing up on street-legal production models. Fast-forward to 2023, and the four-leaf clover denotes Alfa Romeo's most powerful models: the Giulia Quadrifoglio is the Italian company's answer to the BMW M3, and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio competes in the same segment as the X3 M. The limited-edition 100th Anniversario models build on these foundations with a 520-horsepower evolution of the twin-turbocharged, 2.9-liter V6 (that's 15 more than in the regular-production variants). Alfa Romeo also added a mechanical limited-slip differential derived from the sold-out, 540-horsepower Giulia GTA. Based on the recently-updated Giulia and Stelvio, the 100th Anniversario models come with LED headlights,19-inch wheels for the Giulia (the Stelvio rides on 21-inch alloys), and edition-specific gold-colored brake calipers. Quadrifoglio emblems with gold-colored accents and "1923-2023" lettering are fitted to the fenders, and the list of equipment also includes a carbon fiber grille and carbon fiber door mirror caps. The interior gets a similar treatment: There's carbon fiber trim, gold-colored stitching, and a "100" logo on the dashboard. Like their regular-production counterparts, both cars get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster whose layout changes depending on the driving mode selected. Alfa Romeo will build 100 units of the Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario and 100 additional examples of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario. Pricing and availability haven't been announced yet, and deliveries are scheduled to start in the coming weeks for buyers in European markets. Alfa Romeo confirmed to Autoblog that both models will be sold in the United States. Buyers will have three colors called Rosso Etna, Montreal Green, and Vulcano Black to choose from. More details will be announced in the not-too-distant future.
