See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"Drivers side exterior door handle needs to be replaced (part included in sale, rear bumper is cosmetically damaged, speedometer works when it wants to, very small hole in passenger and drivers seat, dash cut for aftermarket stereo, SPICA light stays lit and car is hard to start due to a custom made fuel pump return by my mechanic. Once the car is started the fuel pressure is fine and the car will run to hell and back. Easy to start when engine is warm. Car has aftermarket driver side rear view mirror."

Overall the car is in Good condition in my honest opinion.  It has been in my family for about 4 years now.  The last 2-3 years were spent in WV and FL.  I just recently had the car repaired, inspected, and titled here in Virginia to get her road worthy again.  The rear pinion seal had gone, and it was leaking fuel.  I had my auto mechanic at DIA Automotive in Virginia Beach, VA replace the rear pinion seal, all fuel lines, fuel filters, and fuel pump.  There is a fuel pump return for these cars that he was unable to find a part for so he custom made one. It's a little hard to start because of the custom fuel return, but it runs great once it cranks over. The car has new spark plugs, a bunch of new parts in the trunk most of which I do not know what all of them are, but there is a new door handle (the drivers side is broken like most of these cars I have seen around).  The wheels on this car are beautiful, and it has an Abarth exhaust.  The top looks great and I've had no leaks since I took it out of storage, but it hasn't been driven in the rain either.  I drive it 1-2 times a week mostly Sundays.  The car will come with the toneau cover, and the Virginia inspection sticker is less than 30 days old.  The car also comes with ALL of the original service documents, owners manual, and a few other random items the previous owners held on to.

I have added a stereo to the car (Pioneer DEH-4400HD,and infinity reference 6x9's in sealed boxes behind the seats The antenna works, but looks like it was broken off.... the car receives all the local stations though).  The interior on the car is a solid 7.5 out of 10 in my personal opinion.  The exterior is about a 9.  I get more compliments driving this car than I do my 2004 WRX STi.  My problem is I am 6'7'' and my girlfriend is 6'0'' we can't keep this car it's too difficult for either of us to drive regularly.

The car was gifted to me by my parents.  They bought it in PA while they were living in WV, had it titled in FL when they moved down there, and I had it titled here in VA.  Title in hand ready to go.

Please message me for any specific questions or further details.  I can take pictures or videos of whatever you like.  This car is beautiful and I hate to see it go, but honestly I'm not at a point that I can afford a fancy toy car like this and I'm just physically way too big for it.  It has less than 58,000 miles on it right now I just listed the mileage higher because I do drive it around still and will until the day it is sold.  It's not comfortable on my long legs and knees, but the waves, and smiles I get from people with the top down are too much fun.  This car has TONS of life left in it and cruises on the interstate, lights up your face with a smile for every on/off ramp, and is going to make whoever buys it very happy!  Please don't be afraid to ask me anything as I'm not trying to hide any details about the car.

Upon completion of the auction a minimum of a $500 deposit must be made, and I will not ship the car and sign over the title until I have received full payment for the vehicle.  BUYER will be responsible for shipping or picking up the vehicle here in Virginia Beach VA.  I will not pay for or be responsible for trailer transport of the vehicle, but I am willing to drive it up to 85 miles from Virginia Beach VA.  US BIDDERS ONLY UNLESS YOU HAVE SHIPPING EXPERIENCE & PLANS.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio caught hiding under ugly black camouflage

Fri, Apr 8 2016

The vehicle you see here, bedecked as it is in camo-shaped warts and baubles, is the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Behind all that ungainly black plastic hides a jacked-up crossover based on the bones of the upcoming Gulia sedan, which, painfully, we're still waiting to officially launch. Suffice it to say that we're not expecting to see a production version of the Stelvio until much later in 2016. Up front, the well-established rounded-triangle grille that marks the Alfa Romeo marque comes through loud and clear... though it looks a little bit sickly covered in all that cladding. We're sure it'll be appropriately prettied up for production, and we're equally certain the slit-like headlamp cutouts are hiding stylish swept-back lighting units. We can't make out much of the Stelvio's bodysides, but we see some nicely aggressive rolling stock to go along with what appears to be a pretty steeply raked greenhouse. View 10 Photos That incongruously shaped chunk hanging off the back glass was likely tacked on to hide the shape of the actual tailgate, and perhaps there are some sensors or computers hanging around inside the box to feed more data to engineers. There's no telling what's powering this Stelvio mule, but it could be a version of the 2.9-liter, 505-horsepower, twin-turbo V6 that we can't wait to sample in the Guilia Quadrifoglio Verde. For production, expect four- and six-cylinder options, in both gasoline and diesel flavors, depending on where the car is sold. We can clearly see the Stelvio is out on the road, generating test miles ahead of a hoped-for release in early 2017. The next logical question, then, is this: Will Alfa Romeo actually launch the Stelvio on time? Fiat Chrysler's next-generation Uconnect is faster, built on Android

Mon, Jan 27 2020

If you're a regular reader of Autoblog, you know that for a long time we've liked Fiat Chrysler's Uconnect infotainment system for its bright, clear, responsive touchscreen interface. Now, according to the company, it will be better than ever with Uconnect 5, the latest iteration of the system. It has upgraded hardware and a revamped graphic user interface (the stuff on the screen). Looking at sample screens shown above, there are characteristics shared with the old system, such as the time, status and shortcuts at the top and the menu icons at the bottom. In the middle, the major change is the addition of home screens that can be customized with favorite menus and readouts that are always available. Each of these home screens can have up to four functions and you can have five pages to flip through. The graphics themselves feature more legible fonts and updated icons. Each car brand will get its own set of icons, colors and textures to help create unique experiences. And while each Fiat Chrysler product will be able to have Uconnect, including Alfa Romeo that has until now lacked Uconnect, each brand has the ability to make small tweaks including the screen orientation. The system will support displays in landscape, portrait or square, so different brands may choose different shapes. Powering Uconnect 5 is a processor Fiat Chrysler says is six times more powerful than what's in current systems. It features 6 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal storage. The processor also supports screens as large as 12.3 inches with as many as 15 million pixels, or nearly twice that of a 4K resolution TV. The system can display information on up to four screens, too. Uconnect 5's firmware is built on Google's Android operating system, joining a few other automakers in using Android as a base for their infotainment systems. Uconnect 5 brings with it a number of new features. It brings full Alexa integration, so you can use it just like you do at home, provided you have a data plan for the car. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto continue to be standard, but now they can be used wirelessly. You can also now connect two phones via Bluetooth wirelessly so you can access content from both. Navigation gets real time information and updates from TomTom. Users can create five profiles with unique climate, radio and instrument settings, plus one for a valet.

Drive like Mario Andretti in his 1981 Alfa Romeo GTV-6

Sat, May 1 2021

In the United States, Mario Andretti is the racing driver whose name is likely best known among the general public. Over his decades-long career, Andretti has driven into the winner's circle numerous times and in a variety of racing series and venues. He is an ex-Formula One champion (1978), a four-time IndyCar champion, as well as an Indy 500 winner (1969). And while we mere mortals probably cannot drive like Mario Andretti, we can drive one of Mario Andretti's cars, specifically this 1981 Alfa Romeo GTV-6, which is currently for sale at classic-car vendor LBI Limited. Based on the pictures of this Alfa, the car shows just under 36,000 miles. This GTV-6 is finished in Grigio over a tan leather interior. Power is by a 2.5-liter DOHC V6. Equipment includes a five-speed manual, power windows, air conditioning, a wood-rim steering wheel and a Blaupunkt cassette stereo. Andretti drove for the Alfa Romeo F1 team in 1981, and he also appeared in ads for the GTV-6. There was even a Mario Andretti limited edition of the earlier European-market Alfa Romeo GTV in 1976. This car reportedly was a gift from the automaker and was delivered in May 1981. He reportedly kept it for a year, although his ownership is documented (click the "View Documents" tab on the listing). The current asking price for this Alfa is $48,000, although there may be some wiggle room there, given that this car appears to have been a no-sale in a May 2020 RM Sotheby's auction where it garnered a high bid of $28,000. That's about $8K more than is sold for at auction in 2016, although the car is said to have since had thousands of dollars in service. Regardless of the price, this is a cool Alfa with a direct connection to America's most famous racing driver. Related video:
