I will try to describe this car to the best of my knowledge: This car was bought about 2 years ago for 5995.00. 1 month later, the car had a major maintainance done to it such as: Transmission service, brand new brakes, bearings, shocks, and other things. I have moved 3 times after that, and I have lost the reciepts, but you can see the are pretty new. 3 months after all this was done, the car blew the engine. I bought another engine and it is sat at a mechanic shop as of now. Because I have taken so long long and moved few times, I have not put the car back together. I also lost/missplaced some of the brackets and few parts that is needed to put the car back together. I paid 1995.00 for the engine and another 500.00 and some change for new parts such as: Thermostat, timing belt and water pump, gaskets; the engine is 80% to 90% complete. The car is solid, I got a clean title in hands."

Hello Everyone!!! First and foremost, thank you for looking at my auction. I will try to describe this car to the best of my knowledge: This car was bought about 2 years ago for 5995.00. 1 month later, the car had a major maintainence done to it such as: Transmission service, brand new brakes, bearings, shocks, and other things. I have moved 3 times after that, and I have lost the reciept, but you can see the are pretty new. 3 months after all this was done, the car blew the engine. I bought another engine and it is sat at a mechanic shop as of now.
Because I have taken so long long and moved few times, I have not put the car back together. I also lost/misplaced some of the brackets and few parts that is needed to put the car back together. I paid 1995.00 for the engine and another 500.00 and some change for new parts such as: Thermostat, timing belt and water pump, gaskets; the engine is 80% to 90% complete. The car is solid, I got a clean title in hands. The engine is out of the car as you can see in the picture. The car is solid, most of the car is there, missing some items/brackets and few other parts necessary to put the engine back as I mentioned. The transmission is in the car. The back tires need to be replaced, the front tires look like 90% life left on them. The dome light bezel is broken. At the time when the engine was pulled out, everything was working, I just cannot guarantee that, because the car has been at the shop for the past year.

I just lost motivation, and I don't feel like working on this car anymore due to the lack of time. The car is being sold "AS IS" and "WHERE IS" condition. The buyer is responsible for picking it up. The car is located in Great Falls, Montana. I DO NOT OFFER DELIVERY NEITHER SHIPPING.

If you are looking for a project car, this could be a good one. Or if you are just looking for an engine, but you got to take the car too. You can even use it for parts if you choose to do so. I just don't want to deal with it. The newer engine was pulled out from a working vehicle and the vehicle had fewer mileage, about 89K miles when pulled out, sorry I cannot proof that statement. As I said, I moved 3 times and I have lost lots of things during these 3 times moving.

Once again thanks for looking at my ad, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask, or call me at 781-249-9280. The auction is a no reserve auction.

PLEASE HAVE THE FUNDS AND MAKE SURE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT, I WILL REPORT NON-PAYER BIDDER. IF YOU DON'T WANT THE CAR, PLEASE DON'T BID ON IT. Thanks and have a great day.

It's the Alfa Romeo Milano after all

Thu, Dec 14 2023

We wound through as many switchbacks as found on the Brennero Pass when trying to decide ahead of time whether Alfa Romeo would name its coming subcompact SUV the Brennero. A set of GPS coordinates in a post on X turned us around again just a few days ago. The deceptions are finally done, Alfa Romeo declaring the name of its new entry-level offering: Milano. Most Americans will know the name as a cookie, either the original from Pepperidge Farm (derived from a cookie called "Naples") or the horde of imitations that Pepperidge Farm has taken legal action against. Many American enthusiasts will know the Alfa Romeo Milano as a sedan made from 1985 to 1992, called the 75 in other markets as a nod to the brand's 75th anniversary and one of our Future Classics. As with the previous Milano, this one that debuts next April comes with historical associations. The name honors the classic sedan as well as the automaker's hometown of Milan, a city doubly honored on this vehicle by bearing Milanese symbols in its logo: The cross and the Biscione serpent, the coat of arms of the Visconti family. Alfa classifies this as a Sport Urban Vehicle to succeed the Giulietta and Mito; as an entry-level offering beneath the Tonale, if the Brennero adopts dimensions of the sibling Jeep Avenger, the Brennero will be about 16 inches shorter than the Tonale, its roof about three inches lower.  Alfa Romeo saying the Milano "will also be available in a 100% electric version" provides confirmation of both ICE and EV powertrains, mimicking the choices for the Avenger. The ICE option could be the Avenger's mild hybrid, built around a 1.2-liter three-cylinder and making a combined 154 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, or a more powerful setup used by Peugeot. As for the EV, assuming no change from the Avenger, the Milano would get a 54-kWh battery and front axle e-motor making 154 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque, and around the same 248 miles on a charge on the WLTP cycle. More speculative speculation supposes there could be a dual-motor all-wheel-drive Brennero evolved from the drivetrain in the Avenger 4x4 Concept, perhaps arriving for the 2025 model year in the Alfa, the Avenger, and the Fiat 600e. Just like we don't get the Avenger, we don't expect the Milano to make it this far north if it crosses the Atlantic. We'll know what other markets can expect when the SUV debuts in April 2024.

Touring Superleggera planning a tribute to one of Alfa Romeo's most beautiful cars

Wed, May 20 2020

Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera will help Alfa Romeo celebrate its 110th birthday by putting a modern spin on one of its most graceful sports cars. Called Berlinetta Aero, the coupe will break cover in July 2020. The preview image released by Touring Superleggera does a formidable job of hiding the model's overall lines. It shows what's essentially a sculpture that's half shrouded in darkness. However, it's revealing enough to tell stylists traced a parallel between the Berlinetta Aero and the one-off Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Speciale Tipo Le Mans (pictured below) built by Touring to compete in the 1938 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It wore an extra-long hood and a short rear end, defining styling cues that seem to appear on the modern recreation. Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Speciale Tipo Le Mans View 3 Photos As its name indicates, the 8C 2900 was powered by a 2.9-liter straight-eight that sent 220 horsepower to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. Touring doesn't have a straight-eight to play with in 2020, so it will allegedly power the Berlinetta Touring with the Giulia GTA's twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6. It develops 540 horsepower when it's bolted in the Alfa's engine bay, though a power hike isn't inconceivable. Touring Superleggera planned to introduce the Berlinetta Aero at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but the 2020 event was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Its unveiling will consequently take place online, according to Italian website Motori. Additional details (like the unveiling date) will be published in the coming weeks. Touring hasn't said anything about pricing or production figures yet, but it's safe to assume the Berlinetta Aero will be expensive and rare. For context, it capped production of the gorgeous, 8C-based Disco Volante it unveiled in 2012 at eight examples, and it built five units of the Ferrari F12-based Berlinetta Lusso shown in 2015.

The hottest modern sports cars rendered as rally racers

Thu, Jan 14 2016

The modern-day World Rally Championship a monumental amount of fun to watch – I should know, as I recently was lucky enough to head to the UK to watch WRC Wales Rally GB – but even the most monstrous of the current WRC cars are based on fairly pedestrian European hatchbacks. Back in the heyday of rally, the Group B era in the 1980s, much hotter cars were the basis of even more incredible competition machines, for the most part. Take the exotic Ford RS200, or the Lancia Delta S4 with its twin-charged engine. And the hatchback-based Group B cars were bonkers, too. So what would some of our favorite modern cars look like if Group B had never ended? A British site named CarWow hired an artist to reimagine everything from the Rolls-Royce Wraith to the Porsche 911 as a retro-inspired rally car, and they were kind enough to let us share the results in the gallery above. The gallery features an Alfa Romeo Giulia in Martini livery, an Audi TT in classic Ur-Quattro colors, a Fiat 500 Abarth sporting massive flares and a hood blister full of auxiliary lights, a new Ford Mustang in RS200 livery, a Lancia Delta in Alitalia colors, a Porsche 911 in Rothmans livery, a Renault-Alpine in classic blue, a Rolls-Royce Wraith tribute to the Jules cologne Corniche Coupe, and a relatively modern-looking VW Touran. So far, the favorite around the office is the incredible Mercedes-Benz S-Class that is an homage to the wonderful 300 SEL 6.8 AMG "Red Pig" that essentially put AMG on the map. Check out the gallery above and see which one you like the best. Related Video:
