The only reason I am selling my beloved car is because I can no longer afford it while going to grad school in NYC. I bought this car brand new in July 2012. It is in *EXCELLENT* condition.
  • Food/beverages and open containers were never allowed in my car.
  • Never had a chance to ride with pets or children yet.
  • Used it for light transportation over the weekends.
  • Mostly kept in the garage in Newport, NJ.
  • Currently have it in Ellicott City, MD (~20 miles from downtown Baltimore and ~20 miles from Washington D.C.).
IF YOU LIVE AROUND NYC or JERSEY CITY NJ, I can take the car to you when I am back to school in late August.

I am not a dealer nor an experienced car researcher, but here is my shallow opinion as a 2-year-older user of Acura TSX:

THERE ARE A LOT OF GREAT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT ACURA TSX AND I AM SURE THAT'S WHY YOU ARE HERE, so instead here is a list of "negative" things I heard from my friends:
  • Somewhat small back-seat space: I never really had a chance to sit in the back, but according to my friends that seems to be the case. Well, I had successfully squeezed in 4 guys in the back once. So WHAT? Bear with it if you want a ride home.
  • No all-way camera: there's only one rear-view camera to assist you. My friend recently bought a 2014 Nissan Rogue with 360-degree camera. Man, that really does help in parking and blind spot detection because he just started driving.
  • No touch-screen: I would like it to be touch-screen as well. It would definitely make it more high-class, but people, are you going to help me pay for it and its repair? If not, then my knob works perfectly fine.
If you are my friend reading this, you know I love you.

I am sure you can find more info about the model on other websites or through posts/ads here, and there's nothing really more to say than spending some time to see the car and take a ride yourself.

Thank you again for spending time here. If you are interested, you can contact me through the email address above. This is my first time ever selling something on eBay, so I know there could be some trust issues, so I have left my school email address instead.

At last, I wish you the best in finding the best car with the best deal (: !

Sincerely,
Jocelyn

Acura will let you reserve a 2023 Integra starting next month

Mon, Feb 14 2022

For anybody who is trying to get their hands on the 2023 Acura Integra right when it comes out, this one’s for you. Instead of a normal launch, Acura is launching the Integra with a reservation list.  YouÂ’ll be able to reserve and pre-order an Integra online starting March 10. Of course, the reservation process still fully involves dealerships, as Acura states, “reservations handled by participating dealers” at the bottom of its press release. Acura hasnÂ’t revealed production details or even shown us photos of the IntegraÂ’s interior yet, but since itÂ’s going to ask folks to reserve a car to buy, we suspect those details and photos will be coming soon. If you want a sneak peek, we got some photos of the partially-covered interior of the Integra Prototype. Pricing is just as vague as before, too, as Acura simply states that it “will start around $30,000.” The actual website where Acura directs you says “supply will be limited” of the Integra. In todayÂ’s market, that very well may be true. However, the base Integra has never been, nor do we expect it to be, a limited-availability model. ItÂ’s an entry-level, sporty hatchback that will eventually be widely available, even if a certain level of hype makes them thin on the ground upon initially launching. Basically, donÂ’t be fooled by the messaging. If you do want to reserve one, Acura has a sign-up on its website that will put you on a list to be notified the second the reservation site goes live. ThereÂ’s no suggestion that any deposit will be required to reserve a spot for now, but weÂ’ll be looking out for details on that closer to the launch of reservations on March 10. Related video:

Honda signs on as Pikes Peak sponsor, race participant

Sat, 27 Apr 2013

Honda plans to storm the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 30, entering ten cars in nine classes at the race to the sky, and signing on as a corporate sponsor. Part of the company's return to grassroots racing - if that's what you can call factory-backed efforts - the banners of Honda R&D and Honda North America will fly on these entries: a first-gen Acura NSX, an Acura TL SH-AWD, Honda CR-Z, Honda Fit EV, one CRF450R and two CRF250R motorcycles, a CBR1000RR motorcycle and a TRX450 ATV.
One more entry, details of which are to be announced later, will be driven by IndyCar pilot Simon Pagenaud of Schmidt Hamilton HP Motorsports. LoveFab (pictured above during practice last year) will be there with its new, NSX-based Enviate, but as a privateer entry.
Honda's been to the mountain before, with high-powered gear in 2012 and record-setting EVs in 1994 and 1999, but it's never made noise like this. Have a read of the press release below for more info.

Honda's Acura NSX masterstroke: building the factory in Ohio

Tue, Apr 12 2016

When Honda announced it was going to build its NSX supercar in Ohio instead of Japan, it caught everybody in the industry by surprise. No one expected this proud Japanese company to build its most technologically advanced sports car anywhere but in its home country. Now Honda has a supercar production facility in rural Ohio that would be the envy of any Formula One team. The people at Honda call it the PMC, but its official name is the Performance Manufacturing Center. It's a building that started out as a shipping facility for suppliers, but Honda invested $70 million to transform it into a showcase facility that will build the NSX. Honda benchmarked the assembly operations at Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Bentley before work began on its facility. The 200,000 square-foot building will also double as a customer reception center – Honda will open the doors for customers to come see their car being built. It's also going to offer them high-speed test drives at the gigantic Transportation Research Center just down the road. No one expected this proud Japanese company to build its most technologically advanced sports car anywhere but in its home country. Inside, the layout is wide open and well lit. There are no stripes or lines on the floor and none of the different departments are walled off. This creates a more welcoming appearance and lets you get a comprehensive view of the entire process at a glance. And with an eye towards future lessons learned, most of the equipment is of a modular design that can be easily reconfigured or moved. The body shop and paint shop are enclosed by glass walls so that anyone can see what's going on inside. And while you'll see some automation here and there, the idea was to achieve a blend between man and machine, not to try and automate everything. This is a low-volume facility with production targeted at only eight to ten cars a day. The plant runs four days a week with one ten-hour shift. Don't expect to see rows of new NSXs parked on any dealer's lot. The car will only be built to order. Honda is obsessed with ensuring the NSX is built to the most exacting quality standards. The plant people pored over the JD Power Appeal study to determine what supercar customers care about the most, then looked at which aspects of that directly tie into manufacturing. They developed their quality control strategy with three goals in mind. First, they wanted to build everything right the first time with no adjustments.
