You are looking at a 2004 Acura TSX. I have owned this car for 2 years and I am the second owner. The car was previously owned by a 50 year old lady that traded it in for a newer TSX. Her loss was my gain. Before purchasing this car 2 years ago, I was trying to find something local near St. Louis. Unfortunately, there was nothing that caught my eye as this car did. This car was so clean (and still is) that I drove to South Carolina to get it. The car has a clean title and the title is in hand. The previous owner backed the car up into her husbands car in the driveway. She had the bumper replaced. I saw the receipt from the dealer I purchased the car from. The damage was around $1000, so she went through insurance. It shows up on the car-fax/auto check as minor damage. Other than that, there have been no accidents.

Auto check also indicates a correction on the title. There was a typo on the title as 12,861 miles instead of 72,861 when I registered the car in MO. I took a picture of the odometer to verify the mileage so you know it has never been tampered with.

This is my daily driver car that is used for business. I am in financial planning, which entails meeting with clients; primarily highway driving. I purchased the car with approximately 72,000 miles, and it now has just over 100,000. The engine in the TSX's is the K24 2.4L Inline 4. The engine is basically indestructible, as it is one of the only engines in the Honda lineup that uses a timing chain as opposed to a timing belt. That being said, this car is just being broken in. They typically go 250,000+ miles, when well maintained. If you break it before then, you're just an idiot.

I am selling this car to help use toward my downpayment on a house.

As the car sits, there are NO mechanical issues. I have NEVER had a check engine light since I have owned it. The car has been meticulously maintained, as you can see from the pictures and video. I just recently added window tint (35% in the front, 20% in the rear). It can be easily removed if not desired by the new owner.

Just recently the following maintenance has been done:

Oil and oil filter replaced
Brakes were changed (EBC rotors and EBC red-stuff brake pads…. these are very expensive brakes)
NGK Iridium plugs (factory recommended plugs)
Tires rotated
Air filter replaced
Cabin filter replaced
Coolant flushed
Brake fluid drained and flushed

Acura introduces a sleeker self-driving test car

Wed, May 18 2016

As we creep ever closer to an autonomous-car future, one thing is for certain, most of the driverless cars we see being tested look hideous thanks to all the sensors strapped to the roof. Today Acura introduced its second generation Automated Acura RLX Development Vehicle with updated sensors and a more pleasing aesthetic. Gone is the spinning LIDAR system replaced with a more compact and robust version of the light detection and ranging technology. It's also got updated RADAR, camera, GPS and higher performance GPUs and CPUs as well as what Acura is calling "more intelligent software algorithms to support more complex testing scenarios." Acura and its parent company Honda have been testing autonomous cars at its GoMentum Station in the Bay Area since last year with a specially outfitted RLX (shown in the video above with the spinning LIDAR system). This new car will replace that vehicle. This article by Roberto Baldwin originally ran on Engadget, the definitive guide to this connected life. 2021 Acura TLX First Drive | The mojo is returning

Thu, Sep 24 2020

Buildup for the 2021 Acura TLX started more than a year ago when Acura released the stunning Type S Concept. It was long, low, wide and graced with gorgeous rear-drive proportions. Plus, it was slathered in some of the best blue paint we’ve ever seen. Acura could not have thought of a better way to say, “Hey, weÂ’re back!” ItÂ’s no surprise that the Type S Concept is a dead ringer for the production TLX. Acura designers told us the car was just about finished when the concept debuted. So yeah, the new TLX and TLX Type S were always going to look this good. The latter won't be arriving until next spring, but our first drive of this next-gen base TLX has us hopeful for the Type S and its 3.0-liter turbocharged V6. And maybe just a little nervous, too.  The bones are really good. Acura developed a new, unique platform for this TLX that was built with performance in mind from the get-go. It's not just an Accord in a fancy suit. With crossovers on the rise, Acura says its shrinking number of sedan buyers are more passionate about driving dynamics than crossover buyers, allowing them to focus on performance to an even greater degree. It makes sense. We heartily approve. The result of this performance focus is the most rigid body in any Acura not named NSX. YouÂ’ll find more advanced materials like aluminum and press-hardened steel in its makeup than any previous Acura sedan. It has a wider track (+1.2-inch front and +1.6-inch rear), a 2.2-inch wider body, a 3.7-inch longer wheelbase and a 0.5-inch shorter height. Lastly, the dash-to-axle dimension is 7.8 inches longer, giving it those sweet rear-drive proportions despite being a front-wheel-drive platform. 2021 Acura TLX Advance View 38 Photos If you're expecting more rear passenger and trunk space with the extended length, keep looking. Rear legroom is up 0.4 inch, and trunk space by 0.3 cubic-feet to 13.5 – paltry gains for how much larger the car got. The size growth benefitted style and body proportions more than it did functional considerations. Then, thereÂ’s the new suspension: double wishbones up front and a five-link rear. Acura previously used a MacPherson strut design in the front suspension and the move back to a double-wishbone design is great news for driving enthusiasts. Acura's well-regarded TL and TSX of the mid-2000s had double wishbones up front, as did many of Honda's greatest hits of yesteryear (Integra, Prelude, Civic Si, etc.).

The Aston Martin DB11 leads this month's list of discounts

Wed, Mar 10 2021

We've got something of a broken record to report this month. The 2020 Acura NSX and 2020 Aston Martin DB11 have swapped places atop the discounts leaderboard for a fourth month in a row. For the month of March 2011, it's the British entry again in the lead. The DB11 earns top billing with an average discount of $24,614 off its sticker price, meaning buyers are paying an average transaction price of $177,206. That still a large suitcase full of bills, but at least it means buyers get to stare at a drop-dead beautiful coupe in their driveways with as much as 630 horsepower underhood. And if you love Aston Martin's svelte sense of style but don't want to spend quite so much money, you could always choose the 2020 Vantage that's selling for around $143,000. That's nearly $13,600 off that car's sticker, which is enough to land in seventh spot overall. Up next, as we've come to expect, is the Acura NSX. The hybrid-powered supercar from Japan is selling for $137,663 on average this month, which represents a $22,340 discount and seems like an exceptional deal for a 573-horsepower technological marvel that can scoot from 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds. That also represents the largest percentage of savings off the sticker this month. In third place for the month is the Audi R8, making March the second straight month that this trio of supercars has led the list of discounts. Buyers are saving $18,331 off the R8's sticker, which equals an average transaction price of $175,508. That's awfully close to the selling price of the DB11, for those lucky enough to be deciding between the two. Related Video: Driving Iron Man's Favorite Supercar, The Acura NSX | Translogic 215
