You are bidding on my immaculately kept, Adult owned 2005 Acura TL Base.

Powered by the 3.2, 270 HP V6 V-Tec engine, lots of power.

Car is Nighthawk Black Pearl and looks great.  Normal wear for 9 year old black paint, but no fading or peeling.   I have owned the car for approximately 1.5 years and absolutely love it, but I recently bought a house and need to down grade as the house is now my number one priority.  Vehicle has given me zero issues in the time I have owned it.  Clear title in hand and inspected.

All power options including Windows, Locks, Seats, Sunroof, Mirrors, Dual Climate Zones, 6 Disc in dash with Casssette, Factory sound system with subwoofer, Steering wheel controls, and much more.

I did the timing belt kit, water pump and serpentine belt at about 100k.  All modifications were added by me and done professionally.  I installed Tein S-Tech springs which lower 1.4 front and 1.2 rear, which give the car much better handling in my opinion with minimal loss of ride comfort.  Also installed four new KYB GR-2 shocks to go with the springs.  I added the full A-Spec kit which is an OEM product, and rear window lip.  XLR8 Full non-resonated full cat-back exhaust with J-Pipe which deletes the third cat.  No check engine light since there are no 02 sensors that far down stream.  Sounds exotic and great.  K&N  drop in filter was also added.  Other than that, its stock and well taken care of.   Brakes and rotors are good.  Wheels were also added by me which are Hyundai Genesis R-Track wheels in 19x8 front and 19x8.5 rear all wrapped in Delinte Thunder 235/35 19 tires with good tread.

Here's a clip I uploaded of my exhaust the day I had it installed.  http://youtu.be/RobUDn-91CE

Car is great and will be sad to see it go.  Any questions, feel free to ask.

This is an AS/IS auction in which buyer assumes all responsibility.  Buyer is also responsible for pickup and or transport of vehicle within 7 days of end of auction.  A $500.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction.

Junkyard Gem: 1995 Acura Integra SE Sport Coupe

Sat, Feb 12 2022

When Honda introduced the Acura brand to North America for the 1986 model year, there were just two models we could buy here: the Legend luxury sedan (developed in partnership with Rover and sibling to the Sterling 825) and the Civic-based Integra. Most Integras we've seen on the street for the last couple of decades have been the third-generation models sold from the 1994 through 2001 model years, and — like their Civic counterparts — plenty of them have held together well enough to rack up impressive mileage totals. Here's a '95 Integra SE coupe that came close to the 350,000-mile mark during its 27 years on the road, found in a Northern California self-service yard a couple of weeks back. In 1995, the SE trim level was near the top of the American Integra hierarchy (just below the soon-to-be-famous GS-R), priced at $19,890 for the Sport Coupe three-door with five-speed manual transmission. That's about $35,895 in 2022 dollars. Hey, Emperor Akihito's daily-driver was a '91 Honda Integra sedan, so that's a lot of prestige for the price (yes, yes, the Emperor of Japan rides in the back of a Toyota for official duties, but we never could buy a new Toyota Century here). With the Special Edition, you got all the luxury features of the mid-grade LS (including power moonroof, air conditioning, cruise control, and anti-lock brakes) plus 15" alloy wheels, fat Michelin tires, a big decklid spoiler, and a six-speaker AM/FM/cassette audio system. The GS-R's 1.8-liter VTEC engine made 170 horsepower in 1995 (having swapped a '96 GS-R engine into a '92 Civic hatchback, I can tell you it's a pretty wild powerplant by middle-1990s standards), but the non-VTEC version that went into the saner Integras was rated at just 142 horses. The Civic Si that year had a mere 125 horsepower and far less luxury than its wealthier Integra brother, but it also cost just $13,450 (about $25,160 today). These cars were built very well and lasted for decade after decade if not abused, and this car benefited from owners that took good care of it. Unfortunately, the craze for hot-rodded Hondas really got rolling in the middle 1990s, and many of these cars met unhappy endings involving crashes and/or exploded engines. It wasn't many years ago that a car like this would have been stripped clean by junkyard vultures within hours of landing in a California self-serve car graveyard.

2015 Acura TLX

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

Immediately after landing at Washington's Dulles airport, an Acura representative handed me the keys to a 2014 TSX with fewer than 180 miles on its clock. The four-cylinder engine started and I pointed its signature beak towards a destination in Middleburg, VA. It was a curious move by the Japanese automaker, especially considering that I had flown no less than 2,300 miles to drive the discontinued vehicle's ostensible successor, the all-new 2015 Acura TLX.
Yet spending a solid 40 minutes with a sparkling-new version of the outgoing model that still smelled showroom fresh, allowed me an opportunity to scrutinize the dropped sedan and remind myself why it had never really blown me away - it was good at doing many things, but truly great at doing none.
Time with the TSX also started me thinking about the Acura TL, the second model that the TLX will effectively replace. I have better memories of the slightly larger sedan, especially the SH-AWD 6MT trim - it's a solid driver's car - but it, too, fell short in areas where competitors, including the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Cadillac ATS, Lexus IS and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, excelled.

Production Acura NSX spied getting sharper on the 'Ring

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Acura hasn't been shy about trotting out the concept version of its upcoming NSX hybrid supercar - we've seen it colorized on Facebook, wearing Super GT drag and running wrapped at Mid Ohio - but until now, we've missed seeing the production version at all. Thankfully, our boys in the field have been diligently camped out by the Nürburgring, just the place for Acura engineers to get the NSX shaken down and ready for the public.
The first thing you'll likely notice (and no doubt appreciate) is that Acura is staying very true to the concept car. The same wind-tunnel-carved wedge shape is in evidence in the car's silhouette, and details like aggressively scalloped engine vents behind the cabin have made it through unscathed.
We do notice that there are some vertical elements at the bottom of the front fascia/grille that appear to be revised, and the mirrors are considerably less slinky than those of the concept car. Still, by and large, we're seeing a direct translation from show stand to real life here.
