2006 Acura RSX. Automatic with 5 speed sequential, meaning it performed as if it's a manual transmission, so when you drive down the hill and let go the gas it performed as if the transmission is in neutral. Which is cool since you're saving gas and the gear will re-engage automatically without the hassle of placing the gear and clutch as were to the manual transmission. The car shifts perfect, turn the ignition and turn on right away. Engine is quite. I have performed new timing chain replacement right on schedule on this car (it is ready for the 300k miles journey), along with new oil pump, spark plugs, oil and fluid fill to it's level. The thing I've notice with the car it has a power steering leak, which I believe it need the hose replace. It's a Honda engine, they'll last for a long time with minimal proper care. It has 18" SSR Wheels with great tires thread, wheels in great shape, doesn't have any bent. Along with all new coilover springs. The exterior looks good , and interior is clean aside from driver seats is rip. According to Kbb.com the value is about $5098-$6623 (leather and premium wheels added in option), and local listing sells about the same. Please understand it is a used car, therefore it has used car characteristic such as surface rust, dent, dings and such. I've describe the car to the best of my knowledge. Miles will rise as it is my daily driven car. Please only serious bidders and buyer, I need the money, other wise I would keep it. It is sold as is, and please don't back out from your opportunity of a great deal. Thank you for understanding the terms. I will sell to the highest bidder regardless of the final bid price. |

Ludacris discusses Fast and Furious 7 and his 1993 Acura Legend
Tue, 13 May 2014It's easy to think of most wealthy celebrities as egotistical, materialistic individuals who own a Ferrari for every day of the week. The reality, though, is often much less severe. See, they can get attached to things, like cars, just like normal folks. Take Alfred Morris, for example. A 22-year-old running back with the Washington Redskins. Morris still drives the 1991 Mazda 626 that he had in college, despite a healthy $2.2 million contract.
Rapper/actor Ludacris is an even more extreme example of automotive loyalty. With an estimated net worth of over $70 million, Luda has the money for his own private plane. Yet that wealth doesn't stop him from regularly driving the 1993 Acura Legend he has had since before he found fame.
Ludacris, whose real name is Chris Bridges, recently discussed his old Acura during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneris Show to promote his new album. It sounds like he's put 10,000 miles on the trusty sedan since it last popped up online less than a year ago, so it's pretty clear that he drives it on the regular. In fact, Ludacris says he still pens new songs sitting inside it, just like he used to back in the day when he was starting out.
2013 Acura ILX 2.4
Thu, 17 Jan 2013Going Mainstream Has Its Privileges
Acura's experiment with niche models has failed. Competing in the luxury car business by filling white space with product just didn't work for the Japanese automaker. In place of slow-selling models like its ZDX and quirky first-gen RDX, the mindset at Acura has recently switched to more conventional products with vastly improved volume potential. The redesigned 2013 RDX, for example, sold almost as many units in 2012 as it did in 2010 and 2011 combined, and the all-new 2013 ILX has sold more units each month - since going on sale in May - than Acura sold in ZDXs and RLs in all of last year.
While the redesigned RDX is a crucial product to compete with luxury compact crossovers, the ILX might be the most important new product for Acura, as a growing number of premium makes are starting to realize the importance of upscale entry-level compact cars. Ironically, this segment was a pivotal part of the brand's success in the 1980s and '90s thanks to the Integra, but Acura completely abandoned the genre when it killed off the RSX coupe in 2006. The addition of the ILX not only gives Acura a competitive small car again, it also drops the brand's entry price by almost $5,000.
Acura NSX ScienceofSpeed Dream Project brings another wing to SEMA
Mon, Oct 30 2017Acura rolled into SEMA last year with its non-hybrid NSX GT3 race car, that FIA spec-series competitor pulled to Vegas on a trailer behind a GT3-themed Acura MDX. Sticking with the GT3 theme this year but going road-legal, Acura worked with Arizona-based ScienceofSpeed on a GT3 package that NSX owners can put in driveways. The result is the lower, more powerful, more wing-y NSX "Dream Project." Liquid-cooled injecting for the twin-turbo boosts output, adding 37 horsepower for a total of 610, and another 31 pound-feet of torque to register 507. A lightweight steel exhaust sheds 16 pounds and bestows those magnified numbers with magnified bass. A custom suspension drops the coupe by a little more than an inch, a custom iLIFT suspension add-on automatically raises the front axle two inches if the NSX detects a hurdle. The ScienceofSpeed aero kit includes all you'd expect from the alphanumeric "GT3:" front strakes, wider rocker panels, larger rear diffuser, a rear wing, gold powdercoated carbon ceramic Brembo brakes, and wider Pirelli Trofeo R tires wrapped around Advan GT forged wheels. Drench the package in two-tone Andaro Nouvelle Blue Pearl and gloss black roof, and the NSX Dream Project's ready to be driven from climate-controlled garage, to parking-lot car show, back to climate-controlled garage. If the owner decides to test a limit or two, Recaro Pole Position seats and a gaugeART OLED display will keep him locked in and informed. Related Video:
