Hi All,
With a heavy heart, I’m listing my 1999 Acura NSX for sale. (VIN: JH4NA216XXT000063) I’m the third owner of
the car. The miles were accumulated mostly on my hour-long highway commute to and from work. The car is in
fantastic condition, as can be seen from the photos, and has always been meticulously maintained. As you will see
from the CarFax report, the car has never been in an accident or experienced damage of any kind. Goodson Acura in
Dallas has performed all major service since I purchased the car in 2008. Richard Furcht at Goodson can answer any
questions about the car’s service history and can attest to the fact that the car is completely up-to date on all
service. Also, I have all receipts and service records.
The car’s color, Kaiser Silver (NH-546M), is probably the most desirable for NSX’s right now (by far, the
prettiest, in my opinion). The model year is within the range of the most desirable, as well (after engine
increased to 3.2L and after gaining 6-speed transmission, speed-sensitive power steering, and targa top, but before
the change to the ugly fixed headlights).
Modifications:
-The wheels have been painted Honda Graphite Grey Metallic (Honda NH91M) and the calipers have been painted
(high-temp) black
-Tein S Tech coil springs (the car now sits about 1” lower than stock)
-The wheels are offset by Ichiba hubcentric spacers (15mm front and 25mm rear)
-NSX-R front sway bar
-Short-throw gear shifter
-Dali exhaust (similar to Comptech)
-Modified for ‘always-on’ running lights: (re-wired to Canadian spec) - PIAA Xtreme White bulbs
-Toyo Proxes R1R, Front:225/45ZR176, Rear: 255/40ZR17 (slightly wider front and rear than stock)
-Custom Android-based touchscreen head unit. (Spotify, Pandora, Google Music, PowerAmp, Google Maps, Voice
controlled music search, etc )
-back-up camera
-hands-free calling with voice controlled contact search
-Heated seats
-Custom-mounted Valentine One radar detector
Please let me know if you have any questions.

2014 Acura MDX [w/video]
Fri, 31 May 2013Refinement Rather Than Revolution
Before we get into the meat and potatoes of the 2014 Acura MDX, let's pause for just a moment and talk about the current, still-sitting-at-dealerships 2013 model. It's a pretty good machine. Perhaps guilty only of falling to the backburners of our minds in recent years because, well, the old girl's not gotten any younger. But every time we drove this second-generation MDX, our thoughts were the same - good to drive, pleasant to sit in and a pretty decent value.
Acura's customers felt the same way, and so when it came time to design and engineer the third-generation MDX, the vehicle's formula wasn't shaken up at all. Despite the fact that it uses a brand-new platform and offers a host of upgrades, the key points addressed by the company's engineers were the specific requests of customers and shoppers in the segment - changes that amounted to nothing radical. After all, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
2016 Acura NSX aimed at Ferrari 458 for the price of Audi R8
Wed, 08 Oct 2014Acura has done a good job of keeping the next-generation NSX under the wraps for the past few months, especially after a fiery little incident during testing at the Nürburgring earlier this year. But UK's What Car? recently got a chance to speak with development boss Ted Klaus, and he unleashed a few new details about the much-anticipated supercar to make it even harder for us to wait.
Among the info was a strong estimate of the NSX's performance potential. "We have to achieve the type of acceleration that the customer is achieving with the Ferrari," said Klaus to What Car?. "More importantly we have to achieve this every day and also at the Nürburgring." Assuming Acura's supercar is as actually quick as a 458 Italia, then it could hit 60 miles per hour in around 3.5 seconds.
Klaus also claims that the wickedly fast performance could come at a relative bargain for the class. The price is reportedly being benchmarked against the Audi R8, which would put the NSX around $130,000 in the US. While hardly cheap, it would still be a healthy discount off a 458.
Acura Integra Luggage Test: How big is the trunk?
Thu, Aug 11 2022The new 2023 Acura Integra, just like the original 1986 Acura Integra, has four doors and a hatchbacked trunk. That lends it more versatility than a regular enclosed trunk, and judging by the official cargo capacity numbers, more space, too. On paper, it wows with 24.3 cubic-feet, which would in theory be better than some small crossovers like the Mazda CX-30 and Subaru Crosstrek. It should also kick the luggage-testing snot out of the Honda Civic, with which it shares so much. That car, including the Civic Si, has a 14.8 cubic-foot trunk. In theory, the Integra should be able to stuff 10 cubic-feet worth of extra luggage in its hatchbacked cargo area than the Civic can. Let's not bury the lede, here: Ah, no it can't. Not even close. The Integra can carry less stuff than a Civic sedan. Ditto a Mazda CX-30 and Subaru Crosstrek, for that matter. No matter what else is about to follow, though, this shot is ultimately an important one. Look at that opening! It's huge and obviously makes loading so much easier. Remove the cargo cover and lower the seats, and you also have substantially better maximum cargo capacity and versatility than any sedan could provide. It also lets a 2-year-old do this. OK, now that small people storage is out of the way, let's talk about the cargo cover. It is a gigantic mesh piece bracketed my rigid plastic. This means that you're pretty much screwed if you suddenly need space beyond what's below the cover. You ain't storing this thing inside the car. There is a slight silver lining, however, which I'll get to momentarily. First, let's see how many bags fit with the cover in place (ish).  As in every luggage test I do, I use two midsize roller suitcases that would need to be checked in at the airport (26 inches long, 16 wide, 11 deep), two roll-aboard suitcases that just barely fit in the overhead (24L x 15W x 10D), and one smaller roll-aboard that fits easily (23L x 15W x 10D). I also include my wife's fancy overnight bag just to spruce things up a bit (21L x 12W x 12D). That's all the big bags up there, but as you can see (above right), the blue bag is totally smashed. I couldn't do that if there was actually something in the bag. Ergo, forget this. This would be the four biggest bags plus the fancy bag, which is still a bit squished but usable. There is still an issue, though. The black bag at the upper right forced the cargo cover up and out of its bracket when the trunk lid was closed. The trunk still closed, though.
