1991 Acura NSX. This is an iconic "supercar" from the dark ages of performance. The japanese manufacturer took on Ferrari and the world in an attempt to build a "supercar" that could be used as a daily driver. They did that with the revolutionary nsx, with an aluminium monocoque chassis and a high revving VTEC engine as the starting point. Many unique and innovative features were used to create this car. Lots of information on the first generation NSX can be found on internet forums or local car clubs. The definition of supercar has changed since 1991, However these cars are still beautiful vehicles with unparralled reliability and an absolute dream to drive. This car has been driven but not abused. All service is up todate including timing belt and water pump. Original wheels have been replaced with replicas that were used on the original CART series nsx with tires that have about 3000 miles on them. The car has had 1 quality repaint to restore its black shine and gloss. The paint is not perfect, there is evidence of use with small chips on the front. The paint isn't perfect, but it isn't in need of paint or attention either. The front spoiler has been scuffed and worn with a small crease on each side. The seats are in excellent shape with no tears. The driver bolster has a "little" wear showing. The power windows are a bit slow,but function correctly. No known issues with the vehicle. Everything works including the original radio (integrated phone unknown). Clear title, accident free,well maintained,garage kept.

Acura NSX Concept is pretty on the inside, too [w/video]

The Acura NSX is still a couple years away from production (isn't it always?), but Acura has taken the dark window tint off last year's concept and opened the doors to show us what the interior of the car looks like. From what we can tell on the show-floor display, Acura's hybrid supercar will not only have a sexy exterior design, it will look great from the inside as well, but Acura pointed out that this is just "one possible direction" the interior could go. We suppose that means we can look forward to many more NSX concepts - you won't hear any complaints from us.
Building on Acura's latest tagline of "the synergy between man and machine," the NSX promises to provide a "human connected space" offering a simplified layout presumably chocked full of technology. Looking inside the concept reveals a cabin wrapped in maroon leather with sport bucket seats that will certainly provide plenty of support. We're sure there will be more information about the car and its interior at upcoming auto shows, but until then, scroll down for Acura's press release.

Honda tags Civic, Accord, HR-V, Fit and more in fuel pump recall

American Honda Motor Company's recent issues with fuel pumps continue, as a new recall affects a large number of Honda and Acura vehicles from the 2018-2020 model years. The recall covers a total of 136,057 vehicles, including select 2018-2019 Acura NSX, 2019 Acura RDX, RLX, and RLX Sport Hybrid models, as well as 2018-2019 Honda Accords, Civic Hatchbacks, Civic Type Rs, HR-Vs, 2019-2020 Insights, and 2019 Fits.Â National Highway Traffic Safety Administration campaign No.Â 20V314000, published May 28, 2020, states that the low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tanks of the aforementioned vehicles could falter or completely fail. Should the low-pressure fuel pump fail, the car could stall, regardless of its state of motion. Recall documents reveal fuel pump might fail due to swelling of the fuel pump motor impeller, which would cause the pump to seize. This issue is the result of a problem with how the parts were manufactured. These "lower density impellers" were "exposed to production solvent drying for longer periods of time." This caused some impellers to have surface cracking, which resulted in "excessive fuel absorption," which warps the impellers.
