Well ladies and gents, the time has come and I've decided to see what I can get for the ol' girl.  I bought this car in 2006.  Drove down to North Carolina and trailored it back.  It had roughly 40k on it then, now it has 126k.  Anyway, I love this car and as much as it pains me it's just time to move on.

Engine:
-Energy Suspension motor mount polyurethane inserts
-Injen short-ram intake
-Buddy Club Race Header
-Comptech Exhaust (2.5" inner diameter)
-Hondata Kpro ECU
-Buddy Club short shifter
-HKS ground wire kit
-Installed brand new OEM clutch and clutch master cylinder/clutch slave cylinder over the summer

Suspension:
-Function/form type II coilovers
-Comptech rear tie bar
-Stock 02-04's with new rubber

Exterior:
-Full authentic DC5 RSX Type-R lip kit
-DC5 Type-R Sidemarkers
-DIY Blackout headlights
-Color-matched grill
-Rolled fenders
-Tinted (20%)
-Brake ducts (currently non-functional, however have the hardware to make them functional)
-6k HID headlights (DDM Depot)

Interior:
-Moddiction Chrome shift knob
-Pioneer D3 double din headunit
-Super duper JDM coin holder

Random/Extras
-Switchblade key fob
-Benen tow hook (uninstalled)

I think I covered just about everything.  It is truly a fantastic car and has been nothing but dependable for me during my ownership.  As far as the negatives (let's face it, every car has at least one), the front lip is a bit scratched toward the bottom on the passenger side.  The front bumper also has spider cracks from being backed into.  The car also has about 2-3 small dings (nothing serious but I want the potential buyer to know what they're getting).  Overall, it's in very good shape considering the car is 11 years old.  All you need is a set of ballin' wheels for summer!

2023 Acura Integra production begins in Ohio

Fri, May 6 2022

Acura has launched production of the 2023 Integra. The sedan is built in Marysville, Ohio, meaning it's made in America for the first time. Carmakers launch production of new models on a regular basis, it's what keeps our industry going, but Acura explained that preparing the Marysville plant and its staff to build the Integra was easier said than done. While the hatchback was unveiled online in March 2022, preparations started much earlier, and Acura had to juggle various COVID-related setbacks and restrictions in order to meet its deadline. The company explained that its production team relied on video-conference tools set up in the plant to stream trial production live, for example. They made design changes remotely, and Acura went as far as setting up a virtual teaching system to train its workers. Everything went according to plan, and the born-again Integra has started rolling off the line. It's built on the same assembly line as the bigger TLX. Acura dealers across the nation will begin receiving the 2023 Integra in June 2022. Pricing starts at $31,895 including a $1,095 destination charge. Interestingly, the base model and the mid-range A-Spec trim are exclusively offered with a continuously variable transmission (CVT); the only way to get a six-speed manual transmission is to select the range-topping A-Spec with Technology Package trim priced at $36,895. Regardless of trim, power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. Related video:

Acura recalls 7,387 new RLX sedans over suspension bolts

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

Acura has announced a recall for the 2014 RLX due to improperly tightened rear suspension bolts that could come loose and increase the risk of a crash. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to formally issue a recall notice for the RLX, but Acura says that a total of 7,387 RLX sedans are affected, which seems to include markets outside of the US as there have only been 4,456 of the sedans sold through November.
While there isn't an official NHTSA statement, there is one complaint on the government agency's site for a similar incident that caused a driver to almost lose control of the vehicle. Recall notices will be mailed out to customers starting next month, but in the meantime, Acura has issued a press release, which is posted below, and includes contact information that will be useful for affected RLX owners.

2018 Acura TLX will get the Precision concept's grille

Tue, Mar 28 2017

The mid-cycle refresh for the Acura TLX is upon us, and the first teaser shows a car with the new corporate face. The dimly lit image shows the car's pentagonal grille we first saw on the Precision concept at last year's Detroit auto show, and is currently found on the MDX crossover. The full reveal will come on April 11 at the New York auto show. The new fascia should be a significant improvement over the boring, generic one found on the current TLX. A closer look under brighter light also reveals that some of the character lines and creases aren't as sharp and crisp as those on the Precision concept. And while this new TLX should be more distinct that the current model, the headlights are certainly reminiscent of the scowling units on the new Opel Insignia. Acura says this refresh comes with significant updates but doesn't elaborate on what they are. Updates could include a standard 9-speed for both V6 and inline-4 engines, increased power, and a refreshed interior. We'll have all the details when the car launches in the coming weeks.
