The car isnt perfect for being 21 years old, but sure does turn heads like a Ferrari. I will try to disclose everything to my best knowledge so there are no hidden defects or surprises for new owner. I have owned the car from December 2012 and the only reason im trying to sell is to buy another classic 911. This is not a sale out of desperation or a fire sale.  I have no problems keeping it in the collection.

Upgrades:
-Complete 2002+ conversion with all OEM parts
-HIDs
-18x8, 19x10 IForged Seneka wheels with 215/265 tires, had wheels custom finished in flat black face, with black gloss lip, looks awesome.
-Tein RE Coilovers
-Early comptech exhaust system
-HKS intake, with brand new filter element.
-Seats recovered in black leather/perforated center and red stitching - steam fit
-Carbon/FBG center console, with older alpine headunit
-Alpine DDrive speakers
-Small 4ch (digital) behind the passenger seat, bridged to run the factory sub aslso
-Alpine DVA-7996 headunit, ipod cables to be included
-Razo shift knob and weighted knob I forget where I bought it but have reciept.
-NSX-R Shift boot/carbon plate
-Dave's short shifter
-JDM NSX steering wheel and airbag
-Polished alternator
-Powder coated red valve covers
-Iridium spark plugs

-New Interstate battery with warrenty

-New coolant overflow tank, flushed the coolant system (pain in the ass)

-New OEM starter within the last month.

The good:
-Engine has excellent compression (engine warm, throttle open, one plug at time: 235,235,235,235,231,235)
-Just passed GA emissions (dyno, visual, gas cap)
-Just had an oil change
-Just changed transmission fluid
-Clutch master cylinder replaced
-Brand new tires all around
-All brake pads tons of pad left
-Transmission in snap range, but receipt from previous owner showing trans R&R, no symptoms
-Calipers refinished in red, with nsx lettering in black
-Seats recovered professionally, very sharp

-Timing belt/waterpump replaced by prior owners (verified by my mechanic) who was last owner.
-A/C converted and ice cold
-Climate control fully functional
-Garaged

The bad:

-Right rear quarter panel replaced after prior owner's accident
-Passenger door hinge arm clicks when opening fully, passenger door panel sticks in a little further
-entire car exterior repainted during 2002+ conversion
-a couple of paint defects, I've highlighted these in the photos below
-a few interior wear spots, I've highlighted these in the photos below
-2nd-3rd, grinds 2 out of 5 times at high RPM shift
-Steel components on the car have surface rust (engine pulleys, mounts, headers and cats etc...)
-Passenger window regulator is shot
-Driver's window regulator on way out but still works well enough to use
-Engine cover felt has seen better days

The car was in an accident not sure when that wasnt disclosed or shows up on carfax, but the following items where replaced by previous owners.Im guessing the right from met a curb.

- Entire front right suspension assembly has been replaced and the caster problem corrected. Brackets, A-arms, compliance pivot, ball-joint boots, etc...
- Stock sideskirts were put back on with all new clips and hardware.
- Brand new OEM floormats purchased and installed.
- Brand new front passenger ABS sensor purchased and installed.
- Car has been aligned by the best in the state at butler tire.

I have tried to list the car honestly as possible. I personal think its one of the best looking nsx's around.  I have the factory shop manual, and binder with misc reciepts for parts over the years and maintance.

any question on the car call me, 404-734-40five1

my name is Chris

almost forgot, the windows have been tinted dark 5%.  The front windshield was also replaced with new (previous one had chips) and was also tinted 20-25% cant remember exact number.

and I also just bought a steering rack and pinion bushing kit from SOS (common wear item that should be replaced)  and guage pod for the drivers side pillar. I will include both with the car.

Honda updates Takata airbag recall status for some models

Fri, 07 Nov 2014

The net enveloping vehicles in the Takata airbag inflator recall just seems to keep widening. Honda is now updating its previous campaign to revise the status for even more models that were ever registered in (or originally sold in) 13 high-humidity US states and territories.
All of these vehicles were included in the company's earlier repairs. However, at the time this fix was titled "a safety improvement campaign." This latest action upgrades that condition to "a formal recall," according to Honda's official statement. The models include: the 2003-2005 Honda Accord, 2001-2005 Civic (pictured above), 2002-2005 CR-V, 2003-2004 Element, 2002-2004 Odyssey, 2003-2005 Pilot, 2006 Ridgeline, 2003-2005 Acura MDX and the 2005 Acura RL. All of these need to have their passenger-side, front airbag inflator replaced, and the recall affects Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Saipan, Guam and American Samoa.
As with the rest of these affected vehicles, it's possible in a collision for the inflator to rupture spraying metal shrapnel at occupants. There are at least 139 injuries attributed to this problem from a variety of automakers so far. Among this latest population of vehicles, Honda says there have been no confirmed injuries or fatalities related to these exploding inflators.

2020 Acura RDX Review and Buying Guide | Target re-acquired

Thu, Jul 25 2019

The 2020 Acura RDX is a bold compact luxury crossover that represents a return to its roots – providing some athleticism and adrenaline to a segment not known for either. We think this is a positive development, as the previous RDX lost its way a bit. However, that last RDXÂ’s biggest strength was its very spacious interior for its overall size, which carries over to the new version despite the increased athleticism. These arenÂ’t usually attributes that go together; sporty vehicles can be smaller, with poor space utilization. That isnÂ’t the case here. The turbocharged engine and advanced all-wheel drive system mean the RDX is as lively as any crossover buyer could want. The bottom line is that it has more character and a superior combination of attributes than many of its sport-luxury competitors. WhatÂ’s new with for 2020? The RDX carries over mostly unchanged for 2020 after receiving a complete redesign last year. ThereÂ’s a turbocharged engine under the hood again, instead of the V6 in the last-generation model, and the technologically-advanced Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system also makes a return. On the outside, the chrome grille “beak” has thankfully vanished, and thereÂ’s some nifty tech in the slick interior – although its signature touchpad infotainment controller is a mixed bag. More on that below. You can read about last year's changes more fully in our 2019 Acura RDX First Drive, but in short, it's sportier, more distinctive and more luxurious than its predecessor. Part of that is the fact it's no longer based on the same vehicle platform as Honda's CR-V.   View 9 Photos What are the interior and in-car technology like? The RDXÂ’s interior is a nice place to be. In the upscale A-Spec trim we tested, most surfaces are covered with soft, premium-looking materials, including perforated leather, soft-touch plastics, and classy-looking vinyl. The RDX introduces AcuraÂ’s True Touchpad Interface, which controls the infotainment system and its 10.2-inch screen with a center-console-mounted touchpad rather than a touchscreen interface. While itÂ’s certainly a step in the right direction, the system has a relatively steep learning curve and lacks any haptic feedback. ItÂ’s ultimately not as intuitive as weÂ’d like, and that is important because itÂ’s an interface youÂ’ll be using all the time in an RDX – including to interface with the standard Apple CarPlay functionality. Note that, as of this writing, Android Auto is not supported.

Acura NSX to end production in blaze of glory with Type S

Tue, Aug 3 2021

Production of the Acura NSX is coming to an end after the 2022 model year. Before it goes, though, Acura is promising one last hurrah, in the form of a Type S variant. Said to have performance improvements and limited production, it will prove to be the ultimate form of Honda's second-generation supercar. So far, Acura has only released some teasers and a few vague statements. Now, normally when car companies make ambiguous declarations about improved performance, that means something like stiffer shocks or bigger rims (after all, handling is a form of performance, no?). In this case, Acura specifically says the NSX Type S will have more power and quicker acceleration in addition to sharper handling. That's some real talk, even if no hard figures were provided at this time. From the teasers, we can see a few visual signifiers that will distinguish the Type S from regular NSXes. Firstly, the engine cover is finished in red, a color that has traditionally been reserved for high-performance Hondas like the Type R Civic, Integra, and the NSX of the '90s. Much of the brightwork seems to be blacked out, like the door handles and rear badge. They've also added a small Type S emblem located just in front of the rear wheels. Only 350 Type S variants will be built, with 300 of them allocated for the U.S. market. And it looks like the regular NSX may not even be available. Acura's website no longer shows the regular NSX. Only the Type S is shown under the model selection menu. Prices of the first-generation NSX, introduced in 1990 and considered one of the best supercars of its era, have been on a steady rise in recent years. It's hard to say whether this generation NSX will follow suit in the collectors' market decades from now, as despite positive reviews it never quite caught with brand-conscious buyers. But if it does end up becoming a sought-after classic, though, the Type S will surely be worth a hefty premium. The NSX Type S will be fully revealed next Thursday, August 12, during Monterey Car Week, where the very first serial production 2022 NSX Type S will be sold to the highest bidder at Mecum Auction’s Monterey sale on Saturday, Aug. 14. All proceeds from the sale of VIN #001 will benefit charity, including a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) education program for underserved youth.
