2009 Acura MDX Technology and Entertainment Package
Hands down the best vehicle that I have owned. This is my second MDX that I have owned and am selling due to school bills. The all wheel drive has proven to be very reliable even where big 4X4 trucks fail. I am in the military and drive a lot of off road vehicles and even this one can hold its own on and off the road. I purchased the vehicle because I wanted a safe comfortable vehicle for road trips. I once had an unfortunate blowout in the front and didn't realize that the tire was completely flat because the SH-AWD compensated so much. That would have thrown most cars violently in the direction of the flat losing all steering. Consumer reports rate this and pretty much every Acura vehicle as a recommended buy for reliability, safety and overall customer satisfaction. If you haven't driven an MDX go to your nearest Acura dealer and take a spin. This thing feels more like a sports car than an SUV. I purchased this vehicle with every option that they had to offer at the time. The Technology Package adds voice activation of the navigation, radio and climate control systems. Again, there are a lot of buttons which can be overwhelming until you realize that it can mostly be controlled with one button and a voice command. You would think that having a black vehicle in the summer would make for an oven but the fact of the matter is that you can roll the windows down with a push of a button on the remote and roll them down as you walk up. Rolling them back up is as simple as putting the key into the door and locking the doors. This really is a dream to drive, unfortunately I have to let it go. I will have another as soon as all the bills are paid. I will personally answer any questions that you might have and show you how everything works if you would like. I tend to be a technology addict so I am familiar with everything on this vehicle. It has been woman driven and we are the second owners. All the maintenance is up to date and the vehicle will be detailed with a full tank of gas upon sale. The tires have plenty of life on them and performance rated giving you more grip through those corners. If you would like to arrange an inspection at a local shop that can be arranged as well. I am very meticulous and take special care of my cars. Meaning undercarriage rinses after snow storms, regular oil changes and maintenance, tire rotations, etc. Differential, transmission and transfer case oils were just changed as well as the cabin filter. If you have any questions and/or are local and would like to see and drive it before I can be contacted at 336-681-5822. I have this listed to sell quickly. All reasonable offers considered, just shoot me an email or give me a call.

2024 Acura TLX Preview: Subtle style tweaks, fewer trim options

Thu, Nov 2 2023

The 2024 Acura TLX sees a number of updates to keep it competitive and address a few customer requests. It also looks a bit different, but you do need to take a closer side-by-side look. The big visual change is the front end. It now looks more like the TLX Concept car – specifically the lower air dam area and crucially, thereÂ’s now a frameless grille. Acura needed to redesign the entire trim piece above the grille and across the fascia to accommodate it. The change is most obvious on the base TLX, which used to have chrome lipstick around the “Diamond Pentagon” grille. ItÂ’s gone now. So are a whole heap of 2024 Acura TLX trim levels. There had been eight and now there are three: TLX with Technology Package, A-Spec and Type S. Front-wheel drive is now exclusively paired with the now-base TLX with Technology Package (thatÂ’s seriously what itÂ’s called) and vice versa, while the other two are only paired with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). There was previously a Technology-less Base TLX, a front-wheel-drive A-Spec, a TLX with Advance Package, a Type S w/ Performance Tire and the special-edition Type S PMC Edition. The surviving three were apparently what people were overwhelmingly getting. 2024 Acura TLX action front three quarter View 11 Photos That said, parts of those zombie trims survive. The Advance package may be gone for the base TLX (customers were more interested in the sporty versions than the more luxurious take of Advance cars), but its head-up display and surround-view parking camera are added as standard to the Acura TLX Type S. It already had the AdvanceÂ’s other extras. The PMCÂ’s special lightweight wheels, fashioned in a Copper color are now dealer-installed options for the Type S along with the performance tires. Speaking of wheels, Acura answered another customer request by enlarging the A-Spec wheels to 19 inches and through in a coat of Shark Gray paint. The Type S wheels are now Berlina Black to match the new gloss-black finish in its grille. More gloss black shows up on the A-Spec as well on its new, reshaped rear spoiler. Below it is a similarly gloss black diffuser encasing new round tailpipes in place of the old square covers. Perhaps the most significant visual upgrade, however, is back up front where a new, smaller radar sensor for the adaptive cruise control and forward collision prevention system is now completely encased behind the Acura logo.

10 best new car deals of November 2021

Thu, Nov 4 2021

Sales of new cars, trucks and SUVs were drastically affected in 2020 due to the (still) ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The market started to show signs of recovery toward the end of last year before really coming on strong in the early months of 2021. Of course, then pandemic-related parts and worker shortages along with global shipping constraints started running amok and causing a great deal of pricing fluctuation and a limited supply of certain vehicles. Those problems (among other things) have led to record-high new-car transaction prices in the United States. The good news is that there are still plenty of great deals on new cars. Using data provided by TrueCar, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best automotive deals for November 2021. WeÂ’ve noted the original MSRP, the average transaction price, and the total savings in both dollars and as a percentage of the original sticker price. Basically, weÂ’ve done all the hard work for you! So now, all you need to do is compare deals, go on a few test drives, and maybe drive away in a great car (and an even better bargain).

Here's a sneak peek at the 2023 Acura Integra interior

Mon, Jan 31 2022

Photos: Zac Palmer / Autoblog DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Acura staged its Integra Prototype at a display at the Rolex 24 at Daytona this weekend, inviting enterprising amateur and professional photographers alike to sneak a peak at the interior thanks to the bright Florida sun. The photos you're looking at here are ones we took at Rolex, and they essentially reveal what the 2023 Acura Integra's interior will look like. If you recall from the car's initial reveal, Acura did not show photos of the Prototype's interior. Before we dive too deep, though, we can tell that while the design appears to be final, some of the finer details are still a bit rough. Not all of the plastics, surfaces and badging look final, so don't expect everything you see here to directly port over to production. That said, this is still an awesome sneak peek at the upcoming Integra that we weren't expecting to get. From what we can see here, the interior design seems to take a cue from the Integra's underpinnings, which can be traced back to the sporty Honda Civic Si. Photos posted to integraforums.com show the prototype's dash before Acura's reps covered the upper portion to hide it from view. In them, you can see the mesh air vent design that debuted on the Civic, albeit with a different execution here (that treatment runs the full width of the dash in the Honda). Plus, the touchscreen infotainment rising from the dash is also in plain view. The seats look like Acura's latest seat style as opposed to Civic Si seats, and they even feature a neat two-tone black and white design. What does appear to be a direct Civic rip is the steering wheel, which gains an Acura badge and what looks like the rough outline of an A-Spec badge for Integra duty. We'll note that this likely means that the Integra will be offered in A-Spec trim, just like every other new Acura on sale today. The original Integra was never sold as an A-Spec in the U.S., but the RSX Type S (named Integra outside the U.S.) was available in A-Spec trim. Another difference between the Integra interior seen here versus the Civic is a new door panel design. Very little changes in the rear bench, though, as it's featuring the same drop-down armrest and pair of USB ports for rear occupants. The Integra Prototype is notably longer than a Civic Hatchback, but we didn't see any discernible increase in utility in the back.
