Custom Sunset orange paint that changes 4 different colors, Tein suspension, upper and lower stabilizer bars front and rear. Adjustable coil overs front and rear. Racing clutch. Staggered tires. 18 inch tires and wheels. ABS, sunroof, projector head lights, brand new stereo system with 800 watt amp and 10inch sub never used bought it at best Buy with Amp never hooked it up. Jasma headers, custom exhaust 3 1/4 inch from front to rear. Chromed out And Blaster coil was just installed with less than 1k miles on it. Brand new Radiator and electric fan no less than 100 miles on it if that. Fresh tune up. And very very fast. Very important one minor accident over10 years ago but not with me since the car was modified. One of a kind car. 94 body is just a shell this is not a Integra with manufactory specs. It is really a Type R with a new built motor from a Japanese 97 Honda racer. New engine is not a factory engine so these are true miles on this car and modifications. Their was a new cluster installed when new engine was installed to match engine spec the engine redlines at 9000 rpm with a 5 speed manual racing transmission and the true mileage is 23692. hen I did the title work. Car was not with me and I forgot to write down mileage. That is why title shows 24500 as mileage. This is hardly driven by me. I was giving it to my son. When he get his license. But I don't think he will be able to handle the car. And he still has 2 more years before he turns 16. This car was donated to the team which put the car together as a test car by A racing team to test high performance parts on the track. Their is no power steering took it out for a tighter ride on the track. Top speed is about 150mph. 4th gear top out at around 120mph at 7000 rpm. It will run with most any car. It is street legal. I then bought it when they were done when I worked for them in Florida. And repainted it the candy paint chameleon sunset orange which changes 4 different colors. This car was pretty much kept in the garage for years. It is not driven hard. It is lowered but is adjustable by the coil overs. Shocks. I will be 40 this year. No need for the toy. This car is maintained transmission is great and clutch will never burn out. This engined is ported and matched and has a good 10 years left. At least. The car is geared for a tuner head or just someone that wants a everyday runner. And it is a eye catcher. And their is not one oil leak. A that was asked. Model It was made at the factory as a LS. Has been modified its more of a Type-R with a 2.2 liter motor at 250-280 hp or more with cloth interior. Non smoker I will take back if the Engine or Transmission goes in 3000 miles.. The tires and brakes are in great condition.

Acura Street Performance ILX had an unfortunate smelting accident
Thu, 07 Nov 2013There's a fun cliche for all-black cars based on an old Chevrolet Impala SS advertisement - "Lord Vader, your car is ready." It's been reproduced seemingly every time an automaker comes out with a menacing, black car. This Acura Street Performance ILX is for a different movie villain, though. Its advertisement should read, "Goldmember, your car is ready."
Yes, this is a matte gold car, and would probably be lusted after by that freaky deeky Dutch villain. And while it's easy to poke fun at the car's paint job, we're actually quite impressed with what Acura and MAD Industries have done with the car's mechanicals. The 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine has been boosted to 250 horsepower at the front wheels, thanks to a CT Engineering supercharger and an ECU reflash. A CT Engineering intake adds to the grunt, as does a new, prototype Greddy exhaust.
The car rides on 19-inch Nitto NT05 Max tires and TSW Max wheels, while Tein Super Street coilovers and a Stoptech big brake kit make the compact Acura a bit more controllable. Outside the car, an Acura Accessories body kit has been fitted, while the cabin sports a CT Engineering short shift kit, and a few other items from the Acura catalog.
530,000 Hondas, Acuras under expanded NHTSA investigation for steering problem
Mon, Dec 4 2023Earlier this year, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened an investigation into the 2022 and 2023 Honda Civic. The agency had received 145 complaints from owners stating that the car suddenly exhibited “sticky steering” and increased steering effort. WeÂ’re now learning that the investigation is expanding to include hundreds of thousands more cars. The original probe included around 238,000 Civics, but the NHTSAÂ’s latest report, issued Friday, noted that the investigation is expanding to include more than 530,000 Hondas and Acura vehicles. The 2022 and 2023 Honda Civic, 2023 Honda CR-V, and 2023 Acura Integra are affected. A drastic increase in complaints drove the expansion, as the NHTSA said it had received 1,300 reports and was aware of at least 14 crashes related to the problem. An alarming 11 of those crashes involved a roadway departure due to loss of steering control. Two of them came after the driver allegedly overcorrected, and there are three known injuries from the crashes. NHTSAÂ’s report found that the problem happened primarily in the winter months and after the car had been driven in a straight line for an extended period to warm up the vehicle and gear. Though alarming, itÂ’s worth noting that this investigation has not yet reached the recall stage. Honda acknowledged the problem, noting that it was a manufacturing issue for the steering gear unit. The manufacturing process created conditions that could cause greater internal stress, which can wear and deform the gears inside the steering component. The NHTSA also found that the factory did not guarantee consistent lubrication throughout the gear, which could be the cause of the temporary increase in steering effort. The automaker directed its dealers to replace the electronic power steering gearbox to correct a manufacturing defect, but NHTSA will continue its process, moving to an engineering analysis. If that study finds a defect, it could request a recall. Government/Legal Acura Honda Safety
Best cars for snow and ice in 2023 and 2024
Tue, Jan 23 2024What's the best car for snow? The real answer is "the one with winter tires." What do we mean by that? You could have the finest, most advanced all-wheel-drive system or four-wheel drive in the world, but if you're running all-seasons (the spork of tires), your fancy four-wheeler won't matter much. The odds are, any vehicle on the road running good winter tires will probably perform adequately in slippery, slushy and/or snowy road conditions. (Here's a more complete explanation of why winter tires are totally worth it). In other words, you don't really need any of the cars on this list. With a set of winter tires, countless others will do the job, and even these will be at their best with proper rubber. You can find a variety of winter tires for your car here at Tire Rack. Keep in mind that you will need a full set of four snow tires for safety and performance, no matter what you're driving. The days of your dad putting just two snows on the family truckster to get it moving in a straight line are long gone. Don't get us wrong, getting a car that performs well in snow and ice is still a worthy criteria for car buyers. According to the U.S. Transportation Department, 70% of Americans live in places that get snow and ice. And much of the country has been blasted with arctic air for much of the new year. So let's look at the cars. First, we're highlighting choices for a variety of buyers and price points. Second, we're not just considering snow; we're considering general wintery conditions people will experience driving to work or school. As such, these are all choices with advanced all-wheel-drive systems, usually with "torque-vectoring" systems that not only automatically shunt power front and back, but side to side between the rear axles. Most have extra ground clearance for getting through deep snow, and we prefer those vehicles with more responsive steering, throttles and transmissions that provide a greater sense of vehicle control in slippery conditions.  Acura RDX Read our Acura RDX Review Acura's Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system was one of the first to offer torque-vectoring, and besides often being touted for its ability to greatly enhanced dry-road handling, its benefits in the slick stuff can be profound. It's actually surprising that Acura hasn't leaned into this capability further by offering more rugged versions of its vehicles.
