Hello everyone and thank you for looking at my auction.. You are viewing my beautiful, rare, and collectable 1992 acura integra gs-r that is in a condition truly hard to find these days for this type of vehicle..This car has had over 20k worth of restoration work/upgrades that have all been professionally done with receipts to prove..  Below I will accurately describe the vehicle's condition inside and out..

ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN::

The 1.7 dohc vtec engine is original and numbers matching to the vehicle, however has has some substancial upgrades and improvements done to it..There are approximately 20k miles on a fully built engine that include forged pistons/rods, lightweight valves, adjustable cam gears, and much,much more.. The transmission in the car has a quaife limited slip differential installed as well as a clutchmasters stage 3 clutch... The heart of the horsepower though comes from a custom turbo kit that includes a garrett/HKS ball bearing .50 trim turbo that spools instantly and makes the car a blast to drive! Other force induction hardware includes a rev hard cast log manifold (a/c compatible) , front mount intercooler,greddy blow off valve, 2 1/2" downpipe, and polished piping throughout..The car has a hondata s300 system installed and was tuned for 10 psi and made 303 whp/226 trq..(dyno graph included)

INTERIOR/EXTERIOR::

The car went through a complete body/paint restoration 2 years ago.. I have a receipt for $6800 worth of work completed as this was a no expense project and done correctly! All mouldings/glass/headlights were either restored or replaced .. It was sprayed the factory color (frost white) base/clear  and looks beautiful! Its hard to believe that this car is 21 years old when you see it! The interior is all stock minus the red sparco racing seat that has been mounted to the factory rails and can be adjusted just like stock as well as 2 pillar gauges that include boost and egt, and a HKS turbo timer.. An HID headlight conversion has been done and looks/functions incredible!!Overall the interior is in great shape and shows as close to new as your going to get.. All power options work perfectly and the a/c blows ice cold and has been converted to r134a..

WHEELS/TIRES/SUSPENSION/BRAKES::

The car has been lowered with nuespeed race springs and tokico blue shocks, larger sway bars were installed front/rear as well .. The wheels are rare and expensive racing hart C2's (16x7) on goodyear eagle F-1 rubber (205/45/16) that have at least 70% tread left....Brakes are high performance cross drilled rotors on all 4 corners with plenty of pad life left..

IN CONCLUSION::

A few things you should know that some sellers would "conveniently" leave out.. It should be noted that the clutch cable is fully adjusted out and the clutch will need replacement at some point (depending on how hard you drive it).. It currently holds fine driving normal and will still hold in the higher rpms as well, but I believe driving style will be the biggest factor.. Also the trans has a slight 3rd gear grind at high rpm/quick shifts , but again is completely operable and not "trashed" by any means.. It holds in gear fine and will not pop out or anything of that such.. The front brake rotors could use a resurface or replace due to  brake pulsation when coming to a stop as well... The flexpipe in the downpipe has an exhaust leak and will need replaced if the new owner  desires as well..                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    As nice of a paint body/restoration job was done on the car there is some paint bubbling on the passenger rear 1/4.. (see pic).. Not sure if the metal was not prepped right in that area or what, but it is there and I wanted it to be noted.. The car has been a 2 owner its entire life, I am the 3rd and have not had the car long, but the 2nd owner had it for 15 years and had all the work done.. I myself am 34 years old and a car enthusiast that has too many toys/projects already and would like to keep my wife happy but thinning out my stable :) ... Please look through my feedback to see I am an honest seller and as always feel free to ask any questions about the car.. thanks and good luck!!

2019 Acura RDX crossover gets turbocharged power, A-Spec version

Wed, Mar 28 2018

NEW YORK — Calling the RDX that Acura showed at this year's Detroit Auto Show a "concept" was stretching that term to the limits of credulity. The production version of the 2019 RDX is here, and this turbocharged crossover with available AWD looks darn near identical. While it offers all-wheel drive like its Lexus NX and Audi Q3 competitors, Acura's next-generation SH-AWD should be a serious selling point. Let's cover that "Super Handling All-Wheel Drive" system for a moment. It takes power from the 2.0-liter, 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque engine and routes it up to 70 percent rearward, and there's real torque vectoring (rather than brake-based faux vectoring) to shift 100 percent of that rear axle power to either wheel. The broad strokes are similar to the outgoing model's system, but there's much more available rear power bias — in the 2016 model, up to 40 percent could be sent to the rear. And that was up from 25 percent for pre-2016 models. The takeaway is that the RDX should handle a lot better on both dry and slippery pavement, and feel a bit sportier doing it. A new engine may help as well. The outgoing 3.5-liter V6 is replaced by a turbocharged four-cylinder, almost certainly related to the unit in the Accord and Civic Type R, and tuned somewhere in between those cars (252 and 306 horsepower, respectively). We expect the new engine to be lighter than the old V6, and less weight off the front end should improve steering feel and handling. For those keeping track, the new engine is down 7 horsepower but up 28 pound-feet in torque, and thanks to turbocharging the torque band starts down low and is relatively flat, so more oomph from a stop and on through the rev range. The six-speed automatic is gone, replaced by a 10-speed automatic. Most of its competitors use six- or eight-speed units, so that'll be a marketing focus. As you'd expect, the individual ratios are closer-spaced but the total ratio spread is, according to Acura, 62 percent wider than the outgoing automatic. There are steering-wheel-mounted paddles if you'd like to shift yourself. Since the styling is very much a lightly retouched Prototype RDX from the Detroit show, it's nice to be able to give a sense of the new car's proportions with hard numbers. First of all, it's riding on a 2.6-inch longer wheelbase. Overall length is 187 inches, up from 184.4, and width is unspecified.

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.

Acura shows off RDX accessories and 2020 NSX at SEMA

Tue, Nov 5 2019

Following its successful season on the track, Acura speeds to SEMA to showcase a range of performance and race vehicles as well as a new line of concept A-Spec and Acura-branded accessories. Also on the luxury division’s stand will be the Type S Concept sedan and the 2020 NSX, both unveiled in Monterey Car Week in August, the latter wearing the classic Indy Yellow Pearl exterior paint. Acura will show off its accessories on a 2020 RDX. Carbon fiber is the name of the game for its concept A-Spec treatment, used on the grille surround and on the lower front fascia, lower side sill, rear diffuser, lower doors and side mirror caps. ThereÂ’s also a dark chrome theme on the rear Acura badge and A-Spec emblems. A-Spec is offered as a sport appearance trim on the RDX and is supposed to be part of all core Acura models in the future, so weÂ’ll see whether this “concept” A-Spec packages eventually makes it way, whole or in part, to future variants. NSX GT3 Evo To Compete Globally in 2019 View 5 Photos The Acura Genuine Accessories to be shown on the same RDX, by contrast, are available IRL and include roof rails and crossbars, replete with a fork-mount bike attachment, 20-inch wheels with a custom dark tint finish, black lug nuts, black chrome emblems, a carbon-wrapped tailgate accent, illuminated A-Spec trim on the door sills and A-Spec carpet floor mats. ItÂ’s topped with a Thule cargo box. The 2020 NSX will wear the Indy Yellow Pearl color in homage to the old Spa Yellow, one of two yellow paints offered with the first-generation version of the supercar and a favorite among collectors. It joins two generations of championship-winning NSX cars: the 1990 pre-production model driven by Hall of Famer Peter Cunningham to 14 wins and 26 podium finishes between 1991 and 2002, and the NSX GT3 Evo that has won multiple IMSA and SRO races. The carbon fiber-bodied supercar with custom-designed livery is offered for sale globally for around $525,000, Acura says.
