General Info:

I am selling my Integra track car that I had built in November of 2012, I bought the car as a shell without a motor and everything worn out. This car looks rough, but once you read through the parts list and work done, a true enthusiast and track junky will appreciate this vehicle. The car was put together by a reputable shop in my area (google Teknotik if you need to see for reference) I have receipts to prove it, and everything physically on the body has been changed as well as performance upgrades.. If you look past the aesthetic makeup of the car, and the potential, you've got yourself an amazing build. It can easily be converted to a streetable car as well. I made sure to keep everything on it road legal, and it will pass any sort of emissions testing, and safety inspection with flying colors. The cars redline is 8500rpm, hits that no problem, vtec is very LOUD! The Bride bucket seats in the photo have been sold. The car will come with OEM seats.

This car is the most reliable, street legal track focused vehicle that you can find.

I've replaced almost every oem part on the body, including brake hardlines (Fuel tank to firewall), fuel pump, fuel hardlines (Fuel tank to firewall), stainless steel brake lines,

THE BAD:

Needs paint. The car had a collision on it when I had bought it, but I had the frame straightened and a new rad support welded in. Title is clean, it wasn't reported. The passenger side door lock is seized, and so is the hatch lock. The hatch has rust on the handle portion, but the shell itself had about an inch and half of surface rust on the quarter panels, but I sanded it off and sprayed primer and touch-up paint on it.

SHIPPING:

Because of the possibility of international buyers, I'm unable to offer an accurate shipping cost. This is due to distance, time, and travel preference of the buyer. Once purchased the car will be available for pick up immediately by the buyers shipping company. If you're buying it within Canada or locally, feel free to come pick the car up yourself.

On 12-Apr-13 at 21:16:54 EDT, seller added the following information:

The prices beside the parts are how much I paid for everything, and all of the parts are installed on the car.

Honda demonstrates new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian safety tech [w/video]

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

We're fresh from a balmy rooftop deck in downtown Detroit, where Honda held a meeting this week to discuss and demonstrate a few upcoming advanced safety features. A clear focus of the mini event was the company's new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P) technology, with a suite of Vehicle-to-Motorcycle (V2M) tech a significant second course.
With spirits still high from announcing the 2014 Odyssey as the first minivan to win the Top Safety Pick+ status from IIHS - and after seeing the application of new high-strength-steel sections of the Acura MDX body structure - Honda shared the fruits of some safety tech that is still in the research phase.

Good Samaritans lift car off of hit-and-run victim

Tue, Sep 8 2015

Strangers came to an elderly man's rescue in the Bronx over the weekend after he was dragged under a car by a hit-and-run driver. The 68-year-old man was hit by a red 1997 Acura Integra while crossing a street in a crosswalk on Saturday. Witnesses told CBS 2 the driver didn't stop after striking the man, but dragged him for a quarter mile before parking the car and fleeing on foot. People in the neighborhood who saw the crash ran to help the man as he lay injured underneath the car. It took seven bystanders to free the injured man. Some witnesses chased after the driver, but he managed to escape. Police did not identify the victim. They told the station that he is in critical, yet stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center. The driver who hit him has not been identified. This crash comes less than a week after another driver in the Bronx was caught on surveillance cameras backing into a 51-year-old woman and then driving away. 2024 Acura ZDX revealed with up to 500 horsepower

Thu, Aug 17 2023

The 2024 Acura ZDX electric SUV has been revealed along with many of the basic specifications. It will be available in two basic trims, the A-Spec and the Type S, and both offer fairly impressive performance and range wrapped in a package that's very similar to the Precision EV concept. The basic shape of the ZDX is quite close to the Precision, but everything has been softened. The nose still leans forward with a solid main grille, it has a floating roof, silver lower trim and a cab-rearward shape. Concessions to practicality include the conventional door-pulls and larger lower grilles for powertrain cooling. The A-Spec and Type S look pretty similar, with the main difference being wheel size: 20 inches for the A-Spec and 22 for the Type S. The A-Spec's tires are also 265-mm wide while the Type S gets 275-mm tires. And that top-trim ZDX gets the option of the Double Apex Blue Pearl from the concept, or the Tiger Eye Pearl from other Type S models. Unlike the Precision, the ZDX actually has an interior, and it does a good job of hiding its GM roots, at least at first glance. It has a low dash with slim air vents and a pair of screens for instruments and infotainment; 11 inches and 11.5 respectively. The screens are split up, and sit low behind a wraparound cowl design. Looking closer, though, and you'll see that the steering wheel and climate controls are carryover from the related Blazer EV, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Acura has another important difference from the GM products: It will feature wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, in addition to all the Google Built-In apps. An 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system is standard, too. Other fancy tech includes rear emergency braking with rear cross-traffic and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, automatic parallel parking and, thanks to being based on a GM platform, hands-free highway driving assist (Super Cruise by any other name). Digging beneath the surface, we find that the A-Spec will come standard in rear-wheel-drive form, quite the departure from a company with decades of front-drive history and experience. It gets a single rear motor making 340 horsepower. It will be available with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain that we're presuming has the same total output, seeing as Acura didn't specify a different amount. Multi-link independent suspension with fixed shocks and springs are also standard for the A-Spec.
