I am the third owner - selling car to buy new XC70 Car is in great condition inside and out - I would give it a 7/8 of 10 for both exterior and interior. Car has been dealer serviced it's whole life. I just had the fuel pump and fuel pump sensor replaced. Car was just checked out by a Volvo mechanic on 12/22 - Car is in ideal mechanical/electrical condition. 4 matching Pirelli Scorpion tires with 50% tread left. It really does drive amazing. Quiet, soft, comfortable - powerful engine w/ 5-speed tiptronic (you can manually shift gears should you chose. 5-cylinder, 2.5 liter turbo engine - 208HP - All-wheel drive Car just passed NJ Inspection with Check Engine Light on - Light is on due to small leak in emissions hose - easy/cheap fix, I can explain exactly what that means if interested. Next Polestar Volvo sounds great, whatever it is

While we'll be recovering from next week's LA Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show (and starting to slack off ahead of an extended Thanksgiving weekend), the official tuner of Volvo products has announced plans to unveil its latest creation in less than two weeks.
Based on this video teaser, we can only imagine (and hope) that it's the souped-up Volvo V60 recently caught testing by our spy shooters. The idea of a high-performance Volvo wagon was already enough to get us giddy last month, but the exhaust note in this video is downright captivating. 12-year-old golfer wins Volvo for hole-in-one [w/video]

Natasha Oon, a 12-year-old girl in Malaysia, was recently attending the 40th RSGC Ladies Amateur Open Championship at the Royal Selangor Golf Club with her parents. On a whim, she teed up a shot with her eight iron and scored a hole-in-one. That would have been impressive for a girl her age by any standards, but she didn't see the sign that said making the shot also won her a new Volvo XC60 T5. Not a bad prize for a tween who won't be allowed to drive for at least a few years.
So what does any good 12-year-old do with a CUV? Give it to her parents of course. According to website Paultan, she plans on giving the crossover to her mom and told her, "this is the car that you will use to drive me to school every day." Volvo confirms V60 Sportswagon engine lineup for US

In addition to revamping its entire 2014 lineup, Volvo has already promised us that we'll be getting the V60 wagon early next year, but now the Swedish automaker has confirmed that sexy wagon will go on sale in January. If that's not good enough for you diehard station wagon models, there's even better news: An available R-Design model will be the "fastest and most powerful wagon in Volvo history."
The V60 R-Design will have a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine under the hood producing 325 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. Other engines available in the wagon will include the company's well-regarded turbo inline-five along with a new turbo inline-four wearing the Drive-E name. Volvo says Drive-E can "offer the opportunity" to add electrification, but there's no word as to whether or not the US will receive a V60 plug-in model. Also not yet released are fuel economy, vehicle specs and pricing. More information about the V60 and its powertrains are available in the official press release posted below.
