-
All Wheel Drive! For the first time on ebay, we offer you a wonderful example of
a
Volvo XC70 Cross Country Turbo wagon! The car looks
incredible
and
drives just as nice! This car's history report shows it to
be a
one
owner car from right here in South Texas. We checked all
over the
car and found no signs at all
of rust on this car nor did we find any indication that the car
would
develop
rust in the future. The car's mileage is quite low for a
2004
model with only 178,063 very careful miles on it.
With the high standard this car's owner had for their car not to
mention
the undisputed reliability of Volvo and the inline 5-cylinder
engine at
the heart of it you know this car has the potential to last many
hundreds
of thousands more miles! Volvos have proven themselves
over the
years
as an industry leader in reliability. You know that the
178,000
miles
on this car is nothing as these cars will run for hundreds of
thousands
of miles! Most importantly, this car has NEVER been smoked
in! You'll appreciate the smoke free
interior this car offers!
The car is loaded with options including the power glass
moonroof,
premium alloy wheels, premium Volvo sound system /w in-dash CD
player,
leather seats, SIDE AIRBAGS, and more. The car has a
beautiful
leather
interior inside! The sections that aren't covered in
leather are
beautifully accented in wood grain. The car has the
premium Volvo
wheels. They really do make the car stand out and show how
classy
this car is. The car comes in a highly desired color
combination.
The Black with the Gray leather just looks good in any occasion,
no
matter where you are! It really gives the car a sleek
sporty
feel.
Exactly what you'd want with the Turbo model! The paint
and body
still look fantastic! The interior is beautiful inside!
The power
windows, locks, three position memory seat, power moonroof, and
power
mirrors
still work great. The automatic dual zone computer
controlled a/c
is very cold and the heat is just as hot! The Volvo
premium
stereo
works great and has no blown speakers! It even comes with
the
in-dash
CD player which works beautifully! Also included the car's
owners
manual and a keyless
entry alarm transmitter switchblade style key to complete the
package. Unfortunately, the key has lost its "spring" and
the remote transmitter function no longer works which is
something we've seen a few times on these cars. The key
works just fine without the feature but this can be resolved by
simply purchasing another key. If the looks of this wonderful car didn't already impress you,
then
getting behind the wheel will take your breath away! This
car
really
does handle the speed just like you'd expect any Volvo to handle
it!
The car's suspension still feels good but given its mileage it
is getting a little looser. The car could also use an
alignment. The tires are in good shape. You
won't have to worry about tires for quite some time
with
this car! The engine, while very comfortable and smooth does
have all
the
power that you need. Acceleration is very smooth thanks to
all
the
torque that the engine provides. You really feel in
control of
the
car when its accelerating! Just as you'd expect for
an all
wheel drive car! The car's 2.4 liter 5 Cylinder
Turbocharged
engine is very fast and has more than enough power to handle
anything
that
would ever face it! This Volvo handles the speed very well
80 mph
feels just as comfortable
as 40 mph! The car will hold the speed beautifully thanks
to the
cruise control which works great. The suspension absorbs
any of
the
bumps the road has giving you a very smooth ride. The
brakes stop
the car evenly and effectively! Emergency stops feel very
stable.
As far as safety goes, this is one of the safest cars money can
buy
giving
you cutting edge modern safety features which are still the
standard
even
today! With driver's and passenger's front and side
airbags
you're
protected from any misfortune that you may find on the
road.
Don't miss your chance to own a great example of a well cared
for
Volvo. Don't miss your chance to own a great example of a well cared
for,
hard
to find Volvo XC70 Cross Country Turbo wagon. If you
know
about these cars, then
you know what a true bargain these cars really are. They
provide
the same safety, security, power, and passenger room as any of
the
other
big auto makers luxury sedans with some very distinctive good
looks
that
only a Volvo could provide. It's very hard to find a
wonderful
opportunity like this to acquire a ONE OWNER car. When a
car is a
one owner you find that great care is taken to keep the car
looking in
the same condition as the owner remembers the car coming off the
showroom floor. Don't let another BUYER with a couple
of quick
clicks of the mouse take your dream
car away from you! This car is worth every penny!
Don't
miss
your opportunity to own this beautiful car! You will not
be
disappointed!

2024 CES Mega Photo Gallery: Honda concepts, a VinFast truck and flying cars galore
Thu, Jan 11 2024The 2024 rendition of CES is coming to a close, and per usual, it was full of all the funky, futuristic tech the show is long known for. It’s also full of cars and legitimately forward-thinking tech related to cars, and we were on the ground to see it all and bring photos to you in this Mega Gallery. A boatload of manufacturers attended and made big reveals, from the Star Wars-like Honda concept cars to a pickup truck from VinFast, the sort of debuts we got to see ran the gamut. Of course, there were plenty of reveals and vehicles on the floor that were even more outlandish than concepts from traditional OEMs like Honda and Mercedes. Check out this flying Xpeng car as an example. Or perhaps the flying Mansory car. Apparently, flying cars were a theme. Anyway, make sure you scroll down to check out the various reveals and photos of the cars and technologies revealed at the 2024 CES in our barrage of galleries. Volvo S60 Polestar Concept finally spotted in the flesh
Wed, 28 Nov 2012The Volvo S60 Polestar Concept has graced the pages of Autoblog numerous times in recent memory, but we've never actually seen it in person. That is, until now.
We caught up with the blazing blue sedan sitting on the floor of the LA Auto Show, and it looks even better up close. As a refresher, the four-door is fitted with a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine (3.0-liter) generating an impressive 508 horsepower. Its close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox sends power to all four wheels through a fourth-generation Haldex XWD system. With a decent driver behind the steering wheel, the Polestar can crack the 60 mph benchmark in about 3.7 seconds as it rushes towards a top speed in excess of 186 mph.
Volvo has said that this Polestar-modified S60 was built for a specific client who paid upwards of $300,000 for the pleasure of owning it. But as they say, if there is market demand for more...
2024 Volvo C40 and XC40 Recharge First Drive Review: Back to the RWD future
Sat, May 6 2023The 2024 Volvo XC40 Recharge and C40 EVs will be available with rear-wheel drive, replacing the front-wheel-drive version that has been the fraternal pairing’s single-motor base model. This is obviously newsworthy — why else would I be writing about it? But does it actually mean anything? After driving both of these vehicles around the lakes, seaside, perfectly-maintained highways, and cobblestoned urban streets proximate to the brandÂ’s headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, I can say that the answer is, not really. But thatÂ’s not really VolvoÂ’s fault. The last time Volvo sold a rear-wheel-drive vehicle in the United States was 1998 when the cushy, brick-like 960 was retired (officially S90 and V90 in their final year). Everything thereafter was front-wheel drive or at least on a front-drive-based platform, in no small part due to the additional all-weather traction and stability afforded by the additional weight of an internal combustion engine and transaxle over the drive wheels. In short, it was safer, and even as Volvo moved away from decades of arcane, rectilinear design, safety remained its raison dÂ’etre.  That hasnÂ’t changed, but according to Volvo, EVs have fundamentally changed vehicle dynamics, centers of gravity, and weight distribution to refute the front-drive argument. A Volvo spokesperson told me that this new one-motor layout in the XC/C40, driving the rear wheels, with contemporary advanced driver assistance systems, is better in inclement weather than a gas-engine/FWD combo. That explains why the switch to a standard rear-drive layout doesnÂ’t run afoul of VolvoÂ’s established ethos, but why make the switch in the first place? Whether it was the plan all along, or just an advancement of next-generation technology to prolong and extend the relevance of these vehicles, is not something Volvo would comment on. In any event, many of the base EVs that are in or near the XC/C40Â’s competitive set — the VW ID.4, the Kia EV6, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 — feature rear-wheel drive in their single-motor setup. It is notable that all of those cars were developed from the ground up as EVs and could be optimized for the aforementioned dynamics. The XC40 and C40 were built on a platform capable of accommodating gas-only, plug-in hybrid and full-electric powertrains.
