Hello, and thanks for looking at my auction. I am selling my 2007 Volvo S80 V8 AWD. I am the second owner and purchased this vehicle in August 2012 from Volvo of Charleston. I have put very little mileage on this car in the time that I've owned it (less than 1,300 miles). Vehicle is Ice White in color with Sandstone Beige leather interior. This vehicle has been meticulously cared for and has always been garaged. It is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. Still under Volvo factory warranty through April 18, 2014 or 100,000 miles(whichever comes first). Car is very nicely optioned and comes with the sport package, including ventilated seats, 4C adjustable suspension, bi-xenon headlamps, 18" wheels and the climate package. Vehicle does not have BLIS or onboard NAV system. It also has the upgraded 650-watt Dynaudio sound system with 12 speakers, 6 disc CD changer and XM/Sirius capability. Current Volvo XC90 to live on in China?

The current, long-serving Volvo XC90 might not be going away as soon as we thought - at least not in China. According to word from CarNewsChina, the crossover's production will be moved to Daqing, China, in December and from that point on, be built at Geely's factory. The only available engine will be a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder.
According to the report, the present XC90 and the imminent next-generation model will both be sold in the market, but the Chinese-made vehicle will be positioned as a cheaper alternative. Geely will also develop a crossover of its own from the platform that should be ready in late 2015.
Volvo plans to launch the new XC90 later this year to replace the aging model, which has been on the market for over a decade. It will ride on the company's new Scaleable Product Architecture platform and will be powered by the automaker's new Drive-E four-cylinder engine family. Hybrid versions will also be available.

Future Polestar Volvo models could feature diesel, EV tech

Volvo's Polestar sub-brand has made the transition nicely from being the company's racing arm to building some seriously cool, Swedish cars. Now that it has a few models under its belt, it plans to grow larger and greener. The next-generation of Polestar-tuned vehicles are rumored to include high-performance hybrid and diesel powertrains.
While it still doesn't have the brand recognition of BMW M or Mercedes-Benz AMG, Polestar is on the growth path. It's representatives recently told Autoblog that its latest, tuned S60 and V60 models "mark the start of an extended production car model range." In addition to that expansion, Volvo has given its performance division a greater responsibility for engineering future vehicles, according to Autocar. It even helped develop the new Drive-E engine, which we quite liked when we took it for a spin in an S60.
Polestar's boss hinted at a hybrid model to Autocar, a move that seems obvious once you think about it. The Drive-E engine was designed from the beginning to accept hybrid layouts. The division's plan is to put and electric motor on the rear axle to both increase torque off the line and provide all-wheel drive. As Drive-E also offers diesel variants, that is in the cards as well for the future, but the company didn't go into much detail. Polestar appears to be the upcoming shooting star of the performance car world.
