for FULL payment at that time. Pickup times must be scheduled with 72 hours’
notice, due to getting the vehicles fully detailed, paperwork ready, etc. If no contact is made
within 48 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the
next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Appropriate feedback will be left at
the end of all transactions! There is a $199 dealer services fee added to all
transactions. Buyer is responsible
for pickup or shipment of this vehicle within 14 days of auction end and PAYS
ALL SHIPPING COSTS. All vehicles not picked up after 14 days from the close of

prior arrangements are made and full payment has been received. We works with

You may also locate shippers by doing a web search for “auto shippers”. We guaranty that this unit comes with a
clean and lien free title. All vehicles are sold "AS-IS,
WHERE-IS." No warranty is expressed, written or implied from the seller
whatsoever; however, there may be a manufacturers’ factory warranty remaining
on the vehicle. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct
description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no
warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on
account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions
or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be
construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to
have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself as to the
condition and value of this vehicle and to bid based upon that judgment solely. Pre-sale inspections
are not only welcome, but are recommended and encouraged. We will make every
available effort to accommodate a time for either you or a certified mechanic
of your choice to inspect this vehicle at our location. Please have all
inspections done prior to bidding. Inspections companies are listed on our page
and easily found on the web as well as within eBay. The seller shall and will
make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this
vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no
responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the
vehicle. Please remember the age of the unit that you are purchasing and expect
to spend for repairs accordingly. If you have any
questions about this vehicle - please ASK. Never assume anything not listed is
included. We reserve the right to end this listing if the vehicle is no longer
available for sale and to notify bidders and cancel this auction at any time.
Additionally, we reserve the right to cancel bids placed from those with
excessive negative feedbacks or zero feedbacks. PLEASE be realistic
and realize that these are used vehicles and although we only buy the cleanest
cars available, a nick or chip is always possible. All used cars including this
one may have dings, nicks and chips, scratches and any other marks that are
associated with use consistent with the age and mileage of the vehicle.
Obviously, a car that is 10 years old will show more wear and have more flaws
than one that is only 2 years old. Classic cars will show difference in their condition
based on whether original or restored expect normal wear and tear. Most cars
are sold at wholesale prices, many, way below book prices. Therefore, there is
minimum profit, especially on "no reserve" auctions. As such, we
cannot afford to warranty the vehicle as if you had purchased it for full list
price. We strongly recommend that all buyers purchase the Extended Service
Warranty (available on most cars). This will help defray the cost of mechanical
repairs should any become necessary in the future. Remember some of
these cars are near a decade old and they may be new to you, but that does not
change the fact that they are used vehicles and repairs may be needed at any
time regardless of how short a time period you have owned the car. All basic
maintenance should be done to start off from scratch with your new vehicle we
will check all fluids. While we try to service any known defects it is always
possible for any used vehicles to need service or repairs in the first days or
weeks of ownership; NOT likely, but possible! Since these vehicles are used,
please remember that books, extra keys, remote entry keys, CD cartridges,
etc....do not always remain with the vehicle throughout their life. We will not
be responsible for these minor accessories. These items are all replaceable at
any local Factory Dealer or here on eBay for a few dollars. Placing your bid on
this auction constitutes your agreement and acceptance of these terms and
conditions. In addition, all non-paying bidders will be held liable for a
$500.00 re-listing fee that, if not paid, WILL be filed with all 3 major credit
bureaus. TERMS OF THIS SALE YOU ARE ENTERING INTO A LEGAL AND
BINDING CONTRACT TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE DESCRIBED ABOVE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS AUCTION

Lotus could be sold to Chinese automaker Geely
Mon, Feb 20 2017Two things are constant throughout the history of Lotus Cars: amazing vehicles, and financial struggles. Frequent changes in both ownership and leadership have left the company's future up in the air. And while the new management has improved quality and set a new product plan in place, its seems that Lotus could have a new parent company soon. Despite comments to the contrary, Chinese automaker Geely is rumored to be interested in acquiring Lotus Cars. The British automaker has been owned by Proton since 1996, but after Proton was sold to DRB-Hicom in 2012 investors suggested selling off Lotus. The Star Online reports that PSA in France is rumored to be looking at purchasing Proton cars from DRB-Hicom. In turn, Geely, the parent company of Volvo, is interested in purchasing Lotus from Proton. The report states that Geely has no interest in mass-market vehicles from Proton, while crossover-focus PSA, owner of Peugeot and Citroen, has no interest in a sports car manufacturer like Lotus. China has been encouraging its native automakers to purchase and acquire technology it lacks. Buying Lotus looks like it would benefit both companies. Lotus needs an influx of cash while Geely, looking to compete further on the global stage, would gain a great deal of technical and engineering knowledge from Lotus. Geely's stewardship of Volvo has been mostly hands-off, while giving the Swedish company enough money to invest in new platforms and technologies. If the same were to happen to Lotus, Colin Chapman's company could have its best years ahead of it. 2023 Volvo XC40 Recharge First Drive Review: EV SUV is petite, potent and unpretentious
Thu, Jul 21 2022After years of polishing its plug-in hybrid powertrains, Volvo is jumping into the electric vehicle space with both feet. But rather than trying to make an immense splash in the deep end, Volvo elected to start with its entry-level vehicles – the 2023 XC40 Recharge and its mechanical twin, the C40. Fear not. While they may be small, they are charmingly mighty. Volvo was so eager for us to sample the XC40 Recharge that it actually loaned us a 2022 model for the purpose of this writeup after announcing its planned updates for 2023 XC40 lineup. The changes are of virtually no consequence in the context of this review, as most of them serve to catch the standard XC40 up to the Recharge model, which was already equipped with VolvoÂ’s latest goodies, including GoogleÂ’s new Android Automotive infotainment suite. There are some aesthetic updates (ooooooh, new fog light trim!) but nothing truly noteworthy. While the XC40 is meant to appeal to a more crossover-minded buyer, it and the C40 are virtually identical. While Volvo offers pared-down versions of its EV powertrain in other markets, America gets only the “Twin” variants of each, named thusly for their pair of electric motors. Nope, no bargain-priced FWD-only models here. From the $54,645 (destination included) base model on up, you get 402 horsepower, 486 pound-feet of torque and all-wheel drive. It being a Volvo, everything inside is a little bit different (perhaps just for the sake of being so) but without being Saab levels of weird. Take the time-tested process of turning the car on, for example. There isnÂ’t a key nor start button; VolvoÂ’s electrics are just on by default. If youÂ’re in the car and the key is present, youÂ’re live. Put it in whatever gear you like and set off on your way. When youÂ’re done, put it in park, get out, lock the door and, should you need to or want to, plug it in. While that may seem superficially unconventional, itÂ’s fundamentally a very Volvo thing to do. There are those who choose to believe that Tesla deserves credit for normalizing minimalism in car interiors. ThatÂ’s a neat theory, but VolvoÂ’s been doing it better for longer — and not as a disguise for being cheap. Eliminating the on/off switch seems very on-brand for a company whose cabins have long resembled that one section of the Ikea maze where the college kids canÂ’t even afford to window shop.  If anything, the XC40 Recharge and the C40 both lean a little too far in that direction.
Volvo Trucks makes some pretty strong brakes
Mon, 05 May 2014Often dashcam footage from Russia shows some of the worst driving imaginable, but this is an exception. The Volvo truck driver in this video definitely earned himself a drink or two at the end of the day after making it through this potentially horrific crash. As do the folks at Volvo that engineered those brakes.
The truck driver shows some fantastic reaction time as the silver hatchback suddenly pulls out of an intersection. It looks like he only has a few yards to bring the behemoth to a stop before demolishing the little car. While it's an impressive feat, the best part of the video has to be the driver's bow when he gets out of the truck. He looks like a maestro who just finished conducting a symphony asking for a round of applause.
Scroll down to check out this truck driver's skills and see if he earns his bow afterward.
