1998 S70 GLT " Only 91K" Well Serviced "Excellent Condition" This is very well cared for 1998 Volvo S70 GLT with only 91K. These cars are very hard to find with this low of mileage. It is also very difficult to find one that has been this well cared for and meticulously serviced. It appears to have always been babied and preserved. It is obvious that the car was always garaged and very well serviced it's entire life. It had the Timing Belt replaced at 70K. New tires 6K ago. The Inerior: is in very very good condition. Non-Smoker car therefore no burns or other wear on the seats or carpet. It has a Automatic Transmission that shifts smooth and firm. It also has ice cold A/C, Factory Stereo, Cruise Control, and all options work as they should. The Exterior: is in very very good condition as well. There is no damage or rust on this car maybe a few rock chips and minor dings that is it. Far less than you would expect for a car this age and you have to get very close to see any. As I said it appears to have always garaged so the paint has nice depth and shine. It also has the Factory upgraded Alloy Wheels with New Tires that do give this car a great look, but everything is stock. This car is ready to go. As a matter of fact they drove the car so little that they would have the oil changed because it had been six monthes and he had only driven it a couple hundred miles. It has the 2.4L. Tubo charged engine with the Automatic transmission witch is a great combination it has plenty of power and performance, and still gets very good mileage. As stated these cars are very hard to find with this low mileage, in this condition. But you know that if you have been looking. This car looks even better in person. Heico jacks up Volvo V40 Cross Country to create XC40
Sat, 24 May 2014Because life isn't fair, we don't get the stylish wagon known as the Volvo V40 in the United States. That means we don't get its soft-roading cousin, the V40 Cross Country. So, naturally, if Volvo tuner Heico Sportiv ever produces this ruggedized, XC-styled V40 Cross Country, it most certainly wouldn't cross the pond, either.
That makes us sad, because despite holding a tiny bit of contempt for small luxury crossovers, this is a very, very cool looking vehicle. It's just a render right now, but Heico Sportiv is looking to offer the kit to V40 Cross Country owners who want a smaller version of the Volvo XC60.
Converting a V40 CC into an XC40 would start with some suspension tweaks. The ride height would be raised by just over an inch, in order to improve the looks of the soft-roader and deliver a more CUV-like ingress and egress. New shocks would also be fitted, as well. Wheel-arch extensions were also added to complete the look.

Switching coasts and cars, this time New York's own son returns to his city for a jaunt in a 1967 Volvo 1800S with fellow New Yorker Tina Fey for the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
The trip takes them uptown to Cuban coffee shop Floridita in Harlem, then back downtown to a pastry shop. On the way, Jerry calls out a photo shoot for using a fake Porsche, and Fey admits she doesn't have a driver's license. Driving cars, she says, "is like Twitter to me." Which she also doesn't do - she lasted seven tweets in 2009.

Volvo Polestar celebrates STCC title with Black R edition S60, V60 and XC60
Sat, 21 Dec 2013The relationship between Volvo and Polestar was forged - and forges deeper still - on the racetrack, where the latter fields the former's tin-top entries in the STCC, WTCC and V8 Supercars. And based on their success together in touring-car racing, Volvo has had Polestar amp up a number of its production road cars. What we have here is the latest.
This year Volvo and Polestar dominated the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, taking both the drivers' and manufacturers' titles. So to celebrate, Polestar has rolled out a new Black R package for the S60 sedan, V60 wagon and XC60 crossover.
The package includes an upgrade to 329 horsepower for the T6 engine and to 230 hp for the D5, and further enhances with special wheels, a dropped suspension, special sport seats and more. Unfortunately the package is only being offered in Sweden, but you can scope out the details in the press release below and the photos in the gallery above.
