You are bidding on a 240 Wagon, traded on a new car.
It has a lot of miles and every bumper sticker one can imagine,on the tailgate and rear ,trunk area windows...
Interior has cloth, heated seats, that actually held up a lot better then the vinyl version, seats look nice.
It was well kept, lets start with the good part:engine runs well, quiet, transmission shifts very well,no issues.
Tires are decent 70% tread left, all four matching.
Exhaust was replaced with a OEM unit, from behind the cat. to the end, including the rear transversal muffler, not new, however, looks like a 2-3 year old job.
Suspension ,steering are all in good shape.Trunk struts are good ,hold the tailgate up fine.NO third seat.
Books included in the glove compartment.
The bad:some rust, paint flaking on the tip of the hood, base of the windshield, here and there.
One rear power window does not work(3 work fine),and the radio that looks relatively new, does not power up,that might be just a fuse.Interior blower fan makes a high pitch sound.
Rear brakes are worn, you can hear them grinding, they wear out very fast on those cars, easy job.Front pads and rotors are good,no issues. We can replace the rear brakes for 80-100 $, if the buyer pays...
Car is not bad with that many miles on it,smooth, quiet powertrain, tight handling.NO RESERVE.

Volvo Concept XC Coupe leaked [w/video] [UPDATE]
Tue, 07 Jan 2014Last month, Volvo gave us a teaser of its new Concept XC Coupe, set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show. And now, just a few days before the doors open at Cobo Hall, leaked images of the stylish new crossover showcar have leaked online, courtesy of CarBuyer.co.uk.
The Concept XC Coupe is a sort of high-riding successor to the very attractive Concept Coupe that wowed us at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. With its burlier dimensions and hatchback configuration, the Concept XC gives us a better glimpse at Volvo's new styling direction, which is expected to debut in production form on the next-generation XC90 crossover. We've already seen some leaked sketches of the new XC90, and it sure does look like this Concept XC.
We don't have any further details about the Concept XC Coupe, but from the images, we can see that it will use a four-passenger seating configuration, with rear seats that fold flat. There are also exterior badges for surround radar and a 360-degree camera system, suggesting some new safety tech fitting of safety-minded brand.
Turn up your speakers for this Shelby-powered Sunbeam Tiger and friends
Wed, 18 Jun 2014Most of us are never going to be like Jay Leno and drive a new car every day. However, it's possibly affordable to collect a handful of vintage rides, especially if you look a touch off the beaten path. In recent video, Petrolicious highlights Hans Abrahams, who is doing just that. He has three 1960s, European classics that love to be driven.
The absolute star of the trio is a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger. In the cabin, it has the meaty growl of a muscle car, but outside it has a little of the raspiness of period European cars. Abrahams says its mostly original except for its Ford 289-cubic-inch (4.7-liter) V8 with Shelby parts, producing around 273 horsepower. He says it's a bit difficult to maintain and hard to keep cool, but when you hear it, you know the trouble is worth it.
Next up, is Abrahams' 1965 MGB that is a bit of a monster in its own right. It lacks the Tiger's oomph under the hood, but it's loud enough to blow out Petrolicious' microphone. It's still a very cool little roadster.
Volvo won't go after S-Class, 7 Series market
Mon, 22 Apr 2013Volvo vice president of powertrain engineering, Derek Crabb, recently said that the Swedish automaker is developing smaller and smarter powertrain options that will "turn V8s into dinosaurs" - a statement that could have been our first indication that Volvo is no longer looking to create a luxury flagship sedan to take on German land yachts like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series. Now Automotive News seems to be backing this up after speaking with CEO Hakan Samuelsson, who said that a big sedan wouldn't fit the brand's green image and, more importantly, might not even be a car that its customers would even consider.
Rather than trying to compete in a small, established market against rear-drive, 12-cylinder sedans, Volvo is looking at the emerging, higher-volume premium small car segment to take on its German rivals with the all-new Volvo V40 (shown above). Not wanting to abandon the big-vehicle segment altogether, a next-generation XC90 is due out within the next couple years (and was spotted in some recent spy shots), and it will ride on the new Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA), which will be shared with the new S80 according to the AN article.
