Clean tittle, dmv is fixing the issue where it says flood damage, cars not flooded, come and see, photo of clean title included in listing. This is one of 5,000 R32's made in USA and its essentially an Audi TT all wheel drive sport car. With upgrades its around 300HP. These cars are rare and sell totaled at auctions for what im asking for as far as price, most of all the parts have been replaced ensuring that this car will give you lots of years before another part fails. Please read below as a lot has been done to this car. Basics: 165,xxx miles many of which are highway. Smoke and stain free, car smells good. Oil changes every 4,ooo miles with mobile 1 synthetic. Only premium gas used. Interior is great, no rips or tears as well as the car smell is good and no pets were in car. Exterior has signs of daily driving, left fender has a dent from ice and front hood has a spot where a small rock hit it leaving a white chip. Other than that car is great. The car currently has a painted black golf bumper, in the photo its the grey one at the end. This bumper was used for the winter and has cracks and chips. The price is a steal, if you do not think so please research the car more as working r32's even with high miles sell on average of 10-12,000$+ and some with lower miles as high as 24,000$, smashed at auction around 5-7,500$ which means repairs and bad title and more parts failing in the future. The biggest part in their popularity is that they are rare and expensive so if you are not ready to buy one at auction and fix it or spend a large amount to purchase one without issues than your not ready for an r32. This is basicaly and audi with almost all audi parts stock as well as some unique aditions like heated konig racing seats and aluminum trim and body kit stock. I suggest researching it more if you are not fully familiar with their price and rarity. Now to the good stuff: This car has thousands invested and is virtually brand new due to all the components Ive replaces recently. Changed: Nuespeed springs lowered, the car is very low. Water pump 2-3 weeks ago. Flywheel, bolts, clutch & pressure plate 3 months. Air pump. 6 months ago. Serpentine belt 2-3 weeks ago. Timing chain 5 months ago. Control arm bushings. Front suspension & Bushings. Rear suspension. Trunk latch assembly and sensor. Rear control arms lower x2, aftermarket race brand adjustable. set of 4 new tires low profile all season. New flex Down pipe. New break pads all around with lifetime warranty. Haldex filter. Haldex oil. Secondary radiator. Thermostat and seal rings. Breather air hose. Rubber air hoses. Coolant temp sensor. brand New battery with warranty 1 month ago. Mods: Short shift. Resinator button (Shuts off pipes so they're quiet at the flick of a switch.) Black coated OEM Aristo rims. Tint. Radio cables ran for aftermarket radio system. Glass aftermarket black headlights. Black "magic colors" tail lights. Black side marker and blinker lights with white LED's. K&N intake pipe and carbon fiber intake cone (lifetime cleanable) Aftermarket audio cables ran all way through for aftermarket system. Added lighted jetta vents so there's more red lighting as with stock r32 not all the buttons glow. The bad news: This car over heats, a pressure test was ran and there was no leak detected, I have paper work for test, the oil has no water in it, the coolant tank has no oil in it and the car does not leak anywhere outside. The car has random overheating, comes and goes, runs and drives. The spark plugs need to be replaced as they misfired. Code scan detected misfires due to the spark plugs misfiring on multiple cylinders, there are no other codes and I will have a code scaner at time with me to prove it as well as will have car runing for you at time of pick up to show you. Back to the overheating.... VW said it could be a number of issues like air in the system, faulty parts like radiator, water pump, ect. I do not have time or money to diagnose the car and I purchased a bmw so having 3 cars is not an option especially after putting 5,000$ into this car already, price is a steal regardless of the miles or any issue it has. Please do not bid if you do not plan to buy or ask for a better deal, at this price with all the mods and parts its practically a gift so good luck to the winner and enjoy. In the event that this car does not sell this time around I will not re-list it any longer, i will begine parting out the parts. Thank you for your interest, if you have any questions please call me at 413-523-9232. Good day. On Feb-22-14 at 14:41:47 PST, seller added the following information: Please note: If you need more photos or details please contact me, I will be very more than happy to take any photos and provide any details that you request. |

Audi says fixing diesel emission problem is simple
Fri, Dec 11 2015Audi reportedly has a simple repair nearly ready to fix the emissions problem on 85,000 vehicles with the 3.0-liter TDI V6 in the US. "Swift, straightforward and customer-friendly solutions are in discussion," company exec Rupert Stadler told workers in Germany, according to Reuters. In late November, Audi announced that the 3.0 TDI had three previously undisclosed auxiliary emission control devices, including one that was potentially considered a defeat device under US law. At the time, the German automaker claimed it could repair the problem with just a software update. Stadler's statement indicates that just such a simple fix might be on the way. Even before Audi's disclosure of the emission control devices, the Environmental Protection Agency issued a notice of violation against the 3.0-liter TDI for allegedly having software to defeat emissions tests, and the agency later expanded the scope to any vehicle with the engine from 2009 through 2016. The affected models include the Audi A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, Volkswagen Touareg, and Porsche Cayenne. New diesel versions of these vehicles have a stop-sale. Audi offered owners of affected vehicles the same $1,000 Goodwill Package that parent company VW offered to its affected diesel owners. The money is split up into a $500 gift card and $500 to spend at the Audi dealer. The package also comes with extended roadside assistance. Audi needs to find a solution quickly because it's under a 45-day deadline from the California Air Resources Board to submit a recall plan for the 15,000 vehicles with the 3.0 TDI in the state. The automaker also must include a report on any effects to fuel economy and performance from the proposed repair. Related Video:
Aurora's Chris Urmson on autonomy — that's one way to avoid speeding tickets
Wed, Jan 17 2018Although this year's CES was full of companies announcing and exhibiting their real and conceivable self-driving car technologies, while actual self-driving cars from Aptiv-Lyft were giving conventioneers 400 rides around town, the biggest news came when Volkswagen Group — and recognize this is the entire group, not just the brand — and Hyundai announced that they'd both partnered with Aurora Innovation. While the VW announcement was vague — "The collaboration brings the two companies together to realize self-driving electric vehicles in cities as Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) fleets" — Hyundai provided a concrete goal: "a strategic partnership to bring self-driving Hyundai vehicles to market by 2021." You may not have heard of Aurora, which has been described in some news accounts as "mysterious." But Aurora Innovation has been in business since December 2016, and it is to autonomous technology what the 1927 Yankees are to baseball. The three leaders of the company are Chris Urmson, co-founder and CEO, who had previously been chief technology officer for Alphabet Self-Driving Cars; Sterling Anderson, co-founder and chief product officer, who had directed the development of Tesla Autopilot; and Drew Bagnell, co-founder and chief technical officer, who had been autonomy architect and perception lead at the Uber Advanced Technology Center. We had the chance to sit down with Chris Urmson after he appeared onstage at a Hyundai press conference. He shared his insights on Aurora's approach to automated driving. Initial deployment of self-driving cars? "We think the first place this technology comes to market in in the transportation services or ride-hailing applications, but that's for our partners to decide." (Ride-sharing is a strategy a lot of players in the field are shooting for, as round-the-clock use is one way for paying for what will initially be a technology too costly for private ownership.) Transporting goods or people? "I personally — and as a company — am more excited initially about moving people around. Urban mobility. That's where you see the largest social impact. And it provides better access to mobility for people." Can you create a car that doesn't crash? "It is a fundamentally hard problem because other operators on the road can behave erratically at any moment. For example, if you are in a two-lane, opposing-traffic road, if you want to be safe, you don't drive there, ever.
Volkswagen pushed back against Takata airbag recall
Mon, Feb 15 2016Volkswagen and Audi will recall about 850,000 vehicles in the US to replace their Takata-supplied driver side airbag inflators, but the automaker doesn't believe the safety campaign is entirely necessary. In a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company pushes the agency to re-evaluate the recall's scope because the parts are allegedly safe, it claims. VW asserted in the letter, which NHTSA posted online (as a PDF) with other documents about the company's safety campaign, that the vast majority of the automaker's recalled vehicles used Takata inflators from the supplier's factory in Freiburg, Germany. Only the US-built Passat had components from Takata's plant in Mexico. VW's argues to NHTSA that its recall is unnecessary because there are no reported airbag ruptures in the German-made parts, and the plant has better quality control than Takata's factories in the US and Mexico. In addition, the Mexico-manufactured components in the Passat are also allegedly safe because they come from a time after significant upgrades to the plant to address humidity and welding concerns. "We do not believe the facts known to date support the scope as defined in the Takata defect notification," VW's letter says. To be clear, VW is not refusing the Takata recall and plans to fix the affected vehicles. Instead, this letter shows the automaker expressing an opinion that NHTSA's scope for the campaign is too broad. VW now plans to do its own analysis on the inflators to strengthen that case, according to The Detroit News. "We respectfully request that, should such results be shown, the agency work with Volkswagen and other manufacturers to revisit the scope of these recalls," the letter said. Takata's recalled inflators use ammonium nitrate as a propellant, and experts believe that long-term exposure to high humidity can make the chemical more likely to cause a rupture during airbag deployment. The spray of metal shrapnel from the exploding parts has links to at least 10 deaths. Related Video:
