Car has only 67 thousand miles which is nothing for a diesel and it runs and drives excellent. It has unbelievable gas mileage. It has been serviced regularly by VW dealer, last time just last week. All service records come with the car. Interior is in nice condition with NEW headliner installed by VW dealer due to minor sagging typical to these cars. Paint looks great and there is no repaint anywhere. It is originally a Florida car so there are no rust issues at all. This car has never been in accident. This is a non-smoking car.
Car has upgraded headlights and tail lights for sportier look. Original headlights and tail lights come with the sale and can be easily changed back to original look. Tires are Michelins in excellent shape. The dash computer small center display is fading a bit which is typical to all Volkswagens and Audis but it does not affect any functions of the car. AC is nice and cold. There are no issues, problems or surprises with this car, so you can bid with confidence.

NA auto output to reach 11-year peak

According to Automotive News, automakers are expected to manufacture 16 million light vehicles in North America in 2013. That's up 500,000 units from last year and marks the largest number since 2002. The prediction comes courtesy of LMC Automotive and IHS Automotive, which point to the improving US economy as a bellwether for total production. LMC Automotive says North America will produce 16 million vehicles while IHS has a slightly more optimistic forecast of 16.1 million units. A total of seven automakers are slated to increase production on the continent this year. Nissan is set to see the largest jump at 20 percent over last year.
Volkswagen, meanwhile, is one of the only manufacturers predicted to scale back production. Analysts expect the German company's output to fall by 23 percent to 170,000 units, thanks in part to slow demand for the Volkswagen Passat and Jetta.

Volkswagen says goodbye to Eos, Routan in 2015 updates

Usually automakers announce changes to their lineup individually on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis, but sometimes it all comes at once - especially when the changes are ones we either expected or might not otherwise notice. That's the path Volkswagen has gone with changes to its US lineup for 2015.
The biggest change is what we already knew: that the new Golf arrives for the 2015 model year, bringing with it the new GTI, Golf R, e-Golf and Golf SportWagen (to replace the previous Jetta wagon). But there are some new details as well.
For starters, Volkswagen has finally confirmed that both the Eos and the Routan - both long rumored to be on their way out - will be exiting this year. The Eos hardtop convertible, pictured above, will linger for one last year, its Sport trim replaced by a new Final Edition with 18-inch wheels, two-tone leather interior and enhanced equipment.
