Low Miles (86,890) Original Owner, very safe, reliable car. Completely loaded GLX, with Monsoon Sound System, Leather and all available options. Car does show minor wear and tear, tried to capture all in the pics below. 1. Wheels are slightly scratched from curb rubs and missing a plastic lock nut cover or two. 2. Small dent in hatchback door. 3. Passenger side door had a scratch touched up. 4. Driver side floor mat has a small hole in it. 5. Drivers side sun visor home link (garage door opener) broke, never was replaced. 6. Drivers side door handle has scratch. 7. Windshield has 2 small chips that were filled with epoxy, also slight pitting to glass from sand storm in Palm Springs, interestingly paint did not suffer at all and still looks great. 8. Back seat DC power supple is broken, does not power up. Other than those mentioned items above car is in great shape, drives very solid as any German made car should. Passats were NOT assembled in Mexico and do not have the issues that the Jettas have had.

A VW will help you keep control of your terrible children, apparently
Wed, Apr 29 2015Not all kids are angels, and in fact some of them can be destructive little monsters at the worst of times. Parents know it, too. Volkswagen is playing on adults' fear of being publicly embarrassed by their progeny in an extremely clever ad, touting the long-distance driving range of the Passat TDI. Titled Mom, the spot is certainly one of the more creative sales pitches ever devised for a vehicle's fuel economy. The ad allows three little boys to go absolutely wild in a convenience store as a horrified cashier watches. Although, the commercial certainly raises the question: what mom would actually let her kids run around unattended while pumping gas?
Tanner Foust checks out his new VW Beetle GRC rally car
Thu, 11 Sep 2014Racing driver and Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust is a very busy guy. After all, he's competing in rounds of both Global Rallycross series and FIA World Rallycross Championship, not to mention his TV duties. However, we probably shouldn't feel too sorry for him, because his job puts him behind the wheel of some truly crazy machinery.
Case in point is his latest ride in Global Rallycross - the Volkswagen Beetle GRC. The German company claims that this all-wheel drive Bug makes around 540 horsepower from its 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and can shoot to 60 in under 2 seconds. Plus, if this video is any indication, this Volkswagen sounds like a machine gun when throwing revs at idle, and it can do some wonderfully easy four-wheel drifts.
Previously, Foust was driving a VW Polo for Andretti Autosport in GRC, but the team unveiled the look of the Beetle GRC at the Chicago Auto Show. Now, Foust is finally getting to show off his new office to the public, and like VW's tagline for the new car claims, it's way hotter than Herbie.
